Full Name: mandarkone_bot.exe
Human Form Name: Uno
Nickname(s): N/A
Apparent Age (Human Form): Late Teens
Age: Newly Born
Height: Taller than average, but not by enough to make her seem freaky
Weight: Skinny end of Average
Gender: N/A (appears female in human form)
Race: Semi-sentient Computer Virus
Alliance: Neutral with a Slight Lean towards Evil
Home: Mandark's Systems
Franchise: Dexter's Laboratory (Mainly) Original Character
Physical Description
She is tall and very lightly muscled. It isn't really anything all that noticeable, and she could be described as having a gymnast's body. Her straw blond hair is done up in two extremely large ponytails held in place with a black satin ribbon knotted in the back to from no bow. The tips reach her ankles and the only reason they don't drag on the ground is the bounce they have. They have a small corkscrew effect to them, and are quite a big larger near the head, tapering down to thin points at the bottom. They arch a bit, creating kind of a oval shape in combination. Her eyes are a violet-blue in color and while they are shaped in a serious manner, her naive curiosity of things makes them seem more innocent than they probably should be. Also, she has a very small chest.
She dresses in a semi-formal looking pale pink skort (skirt shorts) that has a wrap that goes all around before being tied to one of the loops her belt goes through by a white satin ribbon like one might see on ballet shoes. The part that hangs from the bow comes down about an inch. Her belt is an unornamental simple black and has a plain copper buckle on the front. If the wrap piece were to come undone, the shorts part of the skort would be revealed. The whole thing comes down to just above her knees.
She has a white tanktop with a long-sleeved pink formal jacket over it. Its obviously a female design, and buttons on the correct side for female shirts. Its much like a formal blouse. The buttons themselves are black and rather tiny. Also, the buttons are snaps rather than the kind you put through holes. She tends to wear the blouse with the top few buttons un-snapped.
Her shoes are black dress shoes with black satin string that wraps once around her ankle. They are tied once with small bows, which rest on the outer part of her ankle. They are tied in a fashion that no string hangs down.
Her true from is often not taken due to some power control issues she has. It looks basically like mostly transparent digital distortion. I say mostly because there is a very faint pink tinge to it that isn't quite evenly distributed. It resembles a digital signal break down. Her truest form is some indecipherable coding. Indecipherable even to her "creator"
Weapons
Uno doesn't use weapons. In fact, weapons are probably the last thing you want to give this girl. She'd probably stab herself fumbling with a knife or hit the self-destruct button of a gizmo because she didn't know how it worked. Her naivete combined with weapons = BAD IDEA. Likely comes from the disdain of weapons the programming she was formed from had just as much as her inexperience.
Abilities/Powers
Uno's got extremely limited powers. To start with, she can't effect anything physical. The only things she can harm are data files. She's also very inaccurate. She would aim for one file and likely hit five others. Her creator made the mistake of thinking she'd instantly have the skill of her origins, not taking into account that her origins didn't start sentient. Mainly cause he didn't know.
She tends to target things the way a person who'd never used a machine gun would hit targets. It tends to be far more than she means and the safest place to be would be where she is aiming.
However, she did somehow manage to get the full immunity to destruction her programming origins have. She is good about dispersing herself and even if you destroyed the system she was on part of her would probably get loose. She can heal by destroying data, even if she tends to not hit what she is aiming for. She is capable of using a network connection to instantly travel to any connected place as data.
Skills
She can read binary to a certain degree. If binary were English she'd have about a fifth grade reading level. She is known for making mistakes or finding chunks she can't "pronounce" so to speak. She often has to ask for help with more complicated programming.
She, like her programming origins, is capable of shapeshifting. Problem is, she's not very experienced at it. Especially under stressful conditions. The problem arises between her human form and her other two forms. She has a bit of trouble maintaining her human form and if she gets really flustered is likely to revert to the pale pink distortion that is her viral form. If an attack were rushing at her, she'd ironically have trouble reverting to her viral form. Although, since her human form is so unstable, getting hit would likely force shift her back. It would be quite painful, though. She can shift from viral to true form at will, however, providing she is in a computer system.
Due to the fact that healing and fixing fabric relies on manipulation of the viral form while in human form, she has almost no skill here. If her shirt were to rip, it would be stuck like that for a while. Same if she got a cut and data began to "bleed" out. She can't take much in the way of hits without being forced to return to viral form, as well.
Due to some of the abilities she kept, she is nearly immune to being fully erased. And as long as data is fed to her she can heal relatively quickly. However, she can be blocked by just about any high end virus program and about half of the moderate ones. This would merely take the form of a door she couldn't get past.
On a side note, she highly prefers her human form to the others, despite the difficulty she often has with maintaining it.
Personality
The first thing that should be noted is she is not fully autonomous. While she can express a desire to not do something, if it is pressed she will try to do anything she is ordered to. In fact, she finds it a great source of frustration that she can't always follow the orders she is given and will continue to try to do so until she is told she can stop. Even if doing so would put her in mortal danger. While not fully compliant to the "must accept interference" clause modern technology is, she isn't fully uncompliant either. However, it should be noted that she only has to take orders from the signature of the one that created her. Due to a complex thing involving a bit of "digital DNA" in relation to written programs, this only means she has to listen to Mandark.
And onto Mandark. She is fully aware she exists because of him and actually has a bit of hero worship for the guy. In her eyes, he can do no wrong. She trusts him completely and seems rather incapable of not wanting to do anything he orders her to. If no orders were given, she would be more than willing to take a bullet for him. She would fight tooth and nail to defend his honor and disliking the teen is pretty much an instant way to put you on her blacklist. While not often evident, she does have a hidden malicious streak that she'll pretty much hit anyone who threatens or insults the boy genius with. In fact, this is the only time she is capable of not wanting to follow orders. If he were to go "save yourself" she would be very distraught, but would have to follow them if he insisted.
She has some hidden smarts about her, and if she encounters a command she doesn't like is quite good at following the instructions. To. The. Letter. "Save yourself" could mean she would flee into the computer system and then manipulate it to save Mandark. Oddly enough, her aim and computer manipulation seems to improve if Mandark is in danger. If she were truly capable of emotions this could be interpreted as "love", but its actually just a sense of loyalty to her creator.
Other than that, the girl is quite naive and actually pretty emotionally fragile. She can cry at the drop of a hat and the little bit of balking ability over orders she has often expresses as a tearful, "Don't make me!" or "Do I have to?". She's the type of girl that if you forced her to do something she didn't want to you'd be compared to someone who kicked puppies. She's really quite sweet providing you aren't out to insult or hurt Mandark. She doesn't like destroying data for the heck of it and really only even attempts it if Mandark forces the order or the person has insulted Mandark in some way.
Also, she hates the sight of blood. A moderate amount would likely make her faint or at the very least force her to flee into a computer system. She gets very flustered around it and too much makes it nigh impossible for her to maintain her human form. And she loves all. things. cute. She'd probably go into a squee fit over a puppy.
History
The gal doesn't have much in the way of history. Mandark had been curious about the sentient computer virus for some time, especially after the fiasco of their first meeting. When Zero was forcefully rocketed into his lab as a result of pissing off some magical girls, he was gravely injured. The virus and Mandark seemed to be on some kind... friendly tolerance for each other, but Zero was quite injured and needed to destroy some data to heal himself.
With motives that were totally ulterior, Mandark allowed Zero to go to his computer and delete some files he'd wanted rid of for some time. Family photos of his childhood and the like. Zero spent a few minutes deleting all the files, but the "bleed" his data was doing gave Mandark something he could work with for a clone.
When Zero left the system, he was more than aware Mandark was up to something, but chose to ignore it merely because the thought of someone being stupid enough to attempt to clone him was so foreign he would have had to have it spelled out for him to even come up with it. What Mandark didn't know, however, was that by being in his system the "blood" picked up traces of his other files. Namely the ones about a girl he had an unhealthy obsession with and some wishes of his he wouldn't show the world if his life depended on it.
When the program was complete and finalized, given a rather corny name due to Mandark being... well... Mandark, he launched it. Giving birth to the entity that would soon be known as Uno.
Other
She is totally a result of cooperation between me and Jilak. Because we're both cruel and sadistic to our characters. So yeah. She won't appear until the thread is ready for it, but it's likely it will be by the time she's approved.
Pictures
She has no pictures, but I do have an image that is a basic example of what her pigtails are like. They are a bit longer in the image, and its the style not the color one should be concerned with.
