Weight: About 31.8 kg/70 lbs
Gender: Female

Franchise: Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z (Japanese)
Physical Description (Momoko)
Momoko is a Japanese teenage girl of average height and weight. She has a normal skin tone, and her basic appearance has nothing to make her stand out in a world populated by anime characters.
She has bright expressive eyes that are a vivid pink in color. She wears her extremely long orange hair in a large ponytail. The ponytail has a gigantic dark pink bordering on red bow tied around the base. The "tails" of the bow extend to the side and are parallel to just past her elbows if she were to hold her arms out to the side.
Momoko has a varying sense of fashion, tending to favor a combination of cute and cool. Her favorite outfit is the one she is wearing when she arrives at the island. It consists of a long baseball like t-shirt and simple denim shorts. The shirt is white, with the sleeves having a candy-cane stripe of dark pink bordering on red and light pink, the part closest to the shirt being the dark pink. The collar of the shirt is dark pink as well. On the shirt there is a yellow heart with a dark pink dot just above and below it. She wears pink tennis shoes with white laces, soles and tips.
Around her belt is the one part of her outfit she almost never takes off. Its a fancy looking white belt that snaps on. It hangs from her waist at an angle, the right side angled down. On that side are three circles. They are blue, dark pink/red, and green respectively, going in that order from the one closest to the belt "buckle". Set in the front of the belt is something that resembles a belt buckle. Its actually a removable compact similar to a make-up compact. It is dark pink/red and has a white base gold-colored edges. A giant pale pink "P" is emblazoned on the front.
Physical Description (Blossom)
Hyper Blossom, or Blossom as everyone who knows her in this form calls her, seems to look like Momoko in a different outfit. However, she "reads" as Blossom, not Momoko (see abilities/powers).
Aside from the pseudo-scientific art of disguise, the previous basic descriptors for Momoko still apply. However, her outfit is quite different. She is wearing a one piece dark pink/red swimsuit that grows into a miniskirt at the bottom. Near the top, just above the chest the suit is black. It continues to be black the rest of the way up, including the straps.
The mini skirt is pleated like one might see upon a Sailor Moon character. The bottom tip is black. While the skirt extends from the suit as one piece, it fits like a swimsuit underneath. Pantyshots would be no worse than a girl running around in a standard one piece swimsuit.
Blossom has on a denim mini-vest. The main part is light pink. The bottom and raised collar of the mini-vest are striped with three stripes. The top and bottom are dark pink/red, and the center is the same pink as the rest of the vest. The padded shoulder guard pieces are dark pink/red. She has a black choker.
She wears black fingerless gloves with sturdy rounded wrist guards. A thick dark pink/red strip is at the center of the guards. Near the base of her right middle finger is a gold charm ring of sorts. The top is a large round circle that is dark pink/red with a pale pink "P" set in the center. Her shoes are heavy duty dark pink/red laceless tennis shoes with white soles. They are topped by the same guard as the gloves, with the same pattern. The bottoms of the shoes have a pink hole directly in the center. It raises up just a touch, but its not enough to harm the structure of the shoes.
The belt that Momoko wears is around her waist is visible on Blossom as well. Along with the giant bow its the only part of her outfit that remains visually the same. This does not give away her identity, however. (see Abilities/Powers).
She has a white light aura to those that can sense it. Not really "holy", but an aura of all things "good and pure".
Weapons (Momoko)
Momoko doesn't carry any normal weapons. She can get creative with things like food, using them as projectiles, but she'll lament the loss of it afterwards. She does seem to have some kind of snack on her an awful lot.
The compact set in her belt could be considered a weapon, as its the source of her ability to transform into Blossom (see Abilities/Powers). The compact comes out of the place it is set in her belt and opens like a cellphone. When opened it reveals a miniature video screen and can be used as a visual communicator.
There are bunches of gold-colored buttons on the inside. The screen is on the top and framed in gold with symmetrical gold circles of varying sizes between the edge and the screen. On the bottom is a large gold button with three triangular buttons below it. From left to right, they are green, dark pink/red, and blue. Above the center button are more symmetrical gold circles.
Weapons (Blossom)
Blossom has two weapons. Her main one is her yo-yo, which she uses in the majority of her attacks. The yo-yo has an impossible to break (barring dramatic tension) black string that seems to be able to extend as far as Blossom wants it to. It is bordered in dark/pink red, with a very dark pink circle around a pale pink one in the center that takes up a majority of the yo-yo. A pink "P" is emblazoned upon the center. The design is the same on both sides.
Her large hair bow can also be used as a weapon of sorts. While its "mere" fabric most of the time, she can cause it to stiffen with her powers and use it as a boomerang.
Abilities/Powers (Momoko)
Momoko has only the one power. She is able to use the compact to transform into Blossom with a shout of "Hyper Blossom!" - She also has to take the compact out and pass her hand through the open compact to trigger the transformation.
Abilities/Powers (Blossom)
First off, while Blossom does have a theme of sorts with her powers, they are very dynamic. In a pinch she can learn new attacks or powers.
Her yo-yo has a standard set of attacks that consist of impressive tricks with the impossibly long string. She improvises the shouted names of the attacks on the spot, and if she has had any issues with food lately or there is food involved, she will usually incorporate the name of the food in question into the attack. All the attack names have to do with food, mainly sweets. If the food is not Japanese, she will use gratuitous English to shout the name of the attack. The yo-yo can also be used to tie a person up by looping it around them several times. The skill with the yo-yo is a power, not a skill - Important to note. She wasn't able to do yo-yo tricks before becoming Blossom.
Blossom can also charge a ball of energy on the yo-yo and fling it at the opponent for explosive results. She can channel the energy of the other Powerpuff Girls Z if they put their energy into her yo-yo, allowing for an even more powerful attack.
Her bow, which as previously mentioned can be caused to stiffen and be used as boomerang, is used in her attack known simply as "Ribbon Boomerang".
Blossom also shares powers with the other PPGZ. She has super strength, super speed, and can fly. The flying is a more unusual part of her powers as it relies on the dip in her shoes. Pink energy shoots out from the shoes and they seem to function more as a pseudo-scientific rocket. If tape is placed over them she can not fly.
Her outfit conveys a lot of special abilities as well. Its made out of some special material that can stretch to fit any size. It could survive a nuclear holocaust unscathed and conveys an extraordinary amount of protection to the wearer. But its main power is that of disguise. In fact, the outfit is why it is impossible for a person to know that Momoko=Blossom unless she transforms in front of them. Even then, they have to take it on faith.
The powers the outfit conveys are not limited to its rightful owner. Anyone can put on the outfit (the elasticity allows this) and be considered Blossom. This has been used against the her and the other PPGZ, as the outfits can come off when they are transformed. They were stolen once by the Rowdyruff Boys of Momoko's homeworld and caused quite the ruckus.
Blossom can sense auras as well. Its not that advanced of a skill. Basically she can tell if a person is a fighter for justice or surrounded by evil. She doesn't get emotions, just the sense of a colored light.
Abilities/Powers (Both)
Whenever Momoko transforms, it sends a signal back to Professor Utonium's (the unofficial guardian of the PPGZ) lab to let him know one of the girls has transformed so he can send reinforcements. As Blossom, it helps the Professor keep track of where she is.
The Professor can also communicate with the girls via the compacts. However, the dimensional distance between her homeworld and Dimensional Island means the GPS-like function and the long distance communication don't work. If someone good with machines were to open the compacts up, they could alter them to work as super cellphones on the Island.
Also, the compact requires a signal - While it is amazingly good and can function in almost any circumstance, the communication ability fails in subways and similar areas.
Skills
Momoko and Blossom share the same skills. Anything exclusive to Blossom is better described as a power.
Momoko is an expert on snacks. She knows how to eat them properly and is not shy about informing you if you're eating one wrong. Her ability to put away extraordinary amounts of food and not gain a single pound could possibly be considered a skill as well. This links to her skill at finding the best places for snacks. She's always the first one to learn about a new place to snack.
Momoko is also an expert on hero anime and drama. She is familiar with both the magical girl and sentai varieties. She likes both anime and live action. She's rather the otaku about that kind of thing.
Despite what her personality might indicate, she is also rather good in a fight. She can come up with tactics and is a fair enough leader. Her biggest weakness there is her insistence that she is the leader.
Personality
Momoko is very... genki. She's hyperactive and full of life. She wants to spend time snacking and hanging out with her friends. She loves being a "transforming super-heroine" and even with all she's been through often has trouble grasping how serious of a task she has. She is chatty and likes cute things.
She's a good friend, but sometimes she's a little clueless about what is going on right in front of her face. She is completely boy crazy and makes fickle people look faithful. She seems to target guys that are "out of her league" a lot and has a huge thing for "cute" older boys. She is fairly gullible but has a really good sense of justice.
She does spend some time lamenting that she will never return to a normal life, but her love of being a super-heroine quickly puts such thoughts down. She is full of life and those near to her can feed off that energy. She's a little pushy though, and she'll make her friends watch her favorite shows (over and over and over).
She's a little pushy and doesn't take rejection well. She bounces back from it quick enough, but every disappointment causes her to react like the world is ending. She's very much a fangirl and goes the complete squee route. She gets all heart-eyed rather easily. She's nowhere near as shallow as she seems and most people find it hard to dislike her.
History
Momoko was an ordinary girl who liked snacks and chasing after boys. One day a Professor Utonium and his son Ken managed to change the properties of Chemical X by dropping a Strawberry bun into the concoction thanks to the digital dog, Peach. It was dubbed Chemical Z. When a giant glacier appeared in Tokyo Bay, Ken fired off the newly formed chemical into the glacier.
Dozens of black lights and four white lights shot from the exploded glacier. The black lights hit various people, animals, and objects throughout Tokyo. The white lights hit Peach and three girls in Tokyo City. It was then that Momoko first transformed into Hyper Blossom. After some chaos she met up with the other two girls. It took some convincing, but they decided to join up and become the "Fighting Love Science Legend, Powerpuff Girls Z".
The next months would be spent learning about the powers granted to them by the white lights and the powers granted to the new monsters by the black lights. Eventually they would learn the black lights came from an entity whose name was so horrible that they called it "Him" to avoid scarring people. The girls worked together and were finally able to seal Him thanks to a bit of creative time travelling and releasing the powers of their white light.
They had thought this would cause them to lose the powers they had come to love, but in an even that astounded Professor Utonium and Ken, all four of them (Peach being the forth) retained their powers. Then again, so did the monsters, but Him had been defeated. The girls continued to fight to protect the peace of Tokyo City.
One day Momoko and the two other PPGZ (Miyako and Kaoru) were cleaning the Dynamo Z time travel device. They'd gotten into a bit of trouble and were being made to clean it as punishment. Professor Utonium had to step out when Peach alerted the girls to some trouble being raised by a high concentration of black light. It was high enough that Peach was concerned Him had come back.
The girls were understandably panicked and transformed. While Dynamo Z wasn't meant to be a weapon, they all agreed it was too cool to not parade around every once in a while. They took off in the Blossom-like mecha and headed towards the source of black light energy. It was directly over Mt. Fuji when a mysterious short circuit sent Dynamo Z hurtling towards the extinct volcano's crater.
The girls panicked, again quite understandably, and were trying to bust their way out of Dynamo Z when a spark caught Blossom. She felt a tingly sensation and the next thing she knew she would be on Dimension Island... after all, it wasn't the first time the time machine had jumped dimensions. Unfortunately it didn't come with her this time, and she has no idea where her friends are...
Other
Standard magical girl fare applies for Hyper Blossom. She has to say her attacks to use them, she can't fight much unless transformed, etc. My Momoko comes from Japanese canon, and indeed, Momoko's reference image is screen capped from the TV-Nihon fansub.
Also, there is NO way to guess Momoko=Blossom. Not even from stupidly observant characters. Its one of the specifics of her canon.
Applied for because NN1 said that the PPGZ characters count as seperate characters from their original PPG counterparts. Which I'm glad she agreed on. XD
