Physical Description
Jeff doesn't stand out in a crowd. He's of average height, but he could lose a few pounds. He isn't really overweight, but he isn't at a proper weight either. He is caucasian with a slightly ruddy complexion. Nothing major, but his skin isn't smooth by any means.
His dirty blond hair is cut haphazardly. Most days he doesn't spend more than a minute on it. Its short, so generally getting it damp and running a comb through it makes it presentable enough. It doesn't even reach the medium ends of short, but its long enough that it can't be called a crewcut. He combs it so that the bangs, which are a bit longer than the rest of his hair, fall just behind his ears.
He has green eyes. They give no clue to his heritage, nor does the rest of his appearance. He calls himself an American mutt to those from a world that would know that country, and he rather fits it. They will sometimes be behind a pair of plain glasses with a black plastic frame. Those are his reading glasses.
His casual wear tends to consist of pants with pockets at the sides, a t-shirt with colored sleeves and a breast pocket, and a worn brown leather belt. He favors more standard colors with a masculine lean, so you'll often see things like blue, black, red, etc. He doesn't wear pink, but only because he is aware he can't pull that color off. Pastels in general tend not to look good on him. He's usually seen sporting blue tennis shoes and white socks. One temple of his reading glasses is usually visible, as he hooks it over the top of his breast pocket.
His other outfit is a work uniform. Crisp brown pants and a red t-shirt. He has a higher quality belt for this outfit, which is black. He also has a black apron he wears, but its not a guarantee. Due to the apron being as optional as not, both it and his shirt have the logo of the coffee shop he owns on it. On the apron it is written in white lettering. On his shirt it is smaller and in black lettering, just above the breast pocket. He keeps his reading glasses in the same place.
The logo for his shop consists of a portable coffee cup with steam rising out the top of it forming a stylized snowflake. To the right of the cup are the words "Chill Out Coffee".
Weapons
Jeff doesn't own any weapons. Catch him with a pot of coffee and he'd be able to toss it on you in self defense, but he doesn't carry things of the sort on him. Nor does he carry anything that wouldn't be considered an improvised weapon.
Abilities/Powers
He is one of the seemingly rare ordinary humans on the Island. As such he doesn't have any special abilities or powers.
Skills
Jeff has reasonable skills in business management and marketing. He can balance a checkbook and do books and such as well. He is able to file taxes without banging his head against a wall, which is quite the skill in itself.
He also is scary smart when it comes to coffee. Not just coffee, but tea and such too. Its not a skill he likes to flaunt, he is of the opinion it makes him seem snooty. It does, however, allow him to have a few unique choices on the menu at his coffee shop.
Jeff is also a pretty good listener. Enough so that he probably could have been a cliche bartender had he not decided to set up a coffee shop. He's good at knowing when people want advice and when they just want to rant. And he's good at giving advice, even if its possibly not what the receiver wants to hear. Its not that he's good at reading people, though. He has to hear them talk a bit. He's observant only as far as he can hear and understand a person speak.
Personality
Jeff is rather laid back. To the point that people talking to him wonder how the hell he manages to keep his shop afloat. He's friendly and likes a good conversation. He's remarkably open minded, seeming not to care at the oddest revelations. Pretty much the only thing that would bother him is if you threatened his shop. He's the type that would shrug off you saying you were a psycopathic killer trying to blow up half the Island, just as long as you promised to not damage his shop. Comes across as weird to some people because of it.
He doesn't really have many close friends. He has many many good aquaintances though. He's often described as being great to work for. He's pretty forgiving and won't run around firing people unless they prove a real detriment to business.
Jeff is hard to rile up. He's not a pushover, and he can defend himself in a verbal fight, its just that he hardly sees any reason to. Back to being protective of his shop, if he decides you're going to do damage to it he'll chase you out. Really the only time he shows any violent tendencies.
History
Geoffery Madison was born in some nondescript reality. The kind that would never get featured in a show, book, or anything of the sort. It was a reality similar to the one most know. To be specific, some town in Washington. He was born in the early eighties, and had a normal life. He went to a standard high school, never bothering with college. He was actually pretty good in math, but not enough to be considered a geek. Never really fell into any cliques at all.
In his early twenties, he managed to get drawn to the Island. As most are, he was pretty confused, but after about a year he'd gotten himself settled down. About three years ago he managed to get the qualifications he needed to set up a business. He set up a coffee shop near the edge of the Plaza, a five minute walk from the apartments at most. While not met with great success, it was enough to make a living. He's aware most of the Islanders don't know about the shop, but enough do that he gets by. He's proud that some have called it hte "best place no one knows about" due to some of his menu choices, though.
Other
If you want to be involved in an RP with him, feel free. He only is involved in Invite Only RPs when the other characters are. He will, however, react very poorly to damage done to his shop. Just keep it in mind. His shop is as much a character as he is, so no blowing it up without my permission.
No pictures of him, probably never will be unless someone goes crazy with the fan art. He's nothing special, after all.
