Kid has a Tolkien elf body type. She would be considered a little tall and seems like you could break her in half with one finger. If you were to touch her, you would realize she is a lot stronger than she looks, although its not enough to aid her physically in a fight. Her skin is pale, but still within normal shades. She prefers to keep her hair up in a big ponytail, with strands loose all over the place. When up, she keeps it tall in the back and uses a cloth wrap to hold it in place. When her hair is down, it reaches about halfway down her legs. Her ears are slightly pointed, but its within the realm of normal human development.
She prefers to wear loose clothing and/or clothing that she can easily move in. She prefers fabric that feels smooth against her skin. Sleek is best, so she has a preference for expensive fabrics such as silk with a dislike for fabrics such as denim.
She has a white gold pendant with a beautiful red oval stone set in the center. It is attached to a silver chain, and she wears it around her neck. At a point in the distant past it held great power, but it is now a decoration.
Weapons
Kid is not in possession of any weapons, nore is she capable of using any.
Abilities/Powers
Kid has the potential for great magic, but being fairly newly born she doesn't have the slightest idea how to control it. The base potential is the exact same as that of the woman known as Schala, a result of Kid being a perfect replica. The ability to control and use it is not as she has not had the nineteen or so years to bring the power under control. Listed here are the spells that would come most naturally to her, the ones she is most likely to access by accident.
What makes her spells different that those of the woman she was replicated from is they don't use the same base power source. Where as her original drew her power from a sort of resonance with the planet she was born on, Kid's main source of power comes from the fons of the world she was born on, and she even casts it with incantations that are fonic as opposed to the language of magic from her original's homeworld. The reason she can access the words without direct training is due to the inborn nature of magic in her home world - The fons are the main source of her magic, not the only one.
Each spell has its name followed by its parent element/fonic element. Unless otherwise stated, the spell would come across as being of its fonic element with traces of parent element. If the element has (element), it means that the element trace reads as different due to the different number of fonons present on Auldrant in comparison to the home world of her original.
Cure - Water/Sound
Incantation - CURE!
Kid sends healing energy to a single ally. It heals mild to moderate wounds, scrapes, bruises, etc. Can't heal broken bones or severe wounds, although it can set them on the road to recovery.
Protect Fire/Sound (Earth)
Incantation - Wall of safety, PROTECT!
Kid can cast a protective barrier around a single ally or herself that will reduce the damage from physical attacks. Magical weapons will have their magic effects work with full power, but any actual cutting or hitting will be noticeably reduced. If the magic makes the weapon stronger rather than giving it special abilities, it is treated as a physical attack.
Magic Wall Shadow/Sound
Incantation - Barrier of safety, MAGIC WALL!
Kid can cast a protective barrier around a single ally or herself that will reduce the damage from magical attacks. Magical weapons will still be able to cut or hit as well as gaining any boost that increases their damage, but their special abilities will be noticeably reduced. Psychic attacks are treated as magical for the purpose of this spell.

Kid doesn't have much in the way of skills. She barely has the ability to do "simple" tasks such as talk and walk. The fact that she can do so quickly with minimal guidance could qualify as a skill because she is a new replica. It has to do with advances in fomicry and ways her original interacted with the fons of Auldrant.
Personality
Kid's personality is ill defined. She functions almost entirely on nature. Her full development will come as a result of how she is treated and who she meets. At the base, and that is truly all she has to begin with, Kid is a kind hearted person. She is kind, she tries her best, she is polite when she is able and feels bad when she isn't, and she tries to be gentle. She dislikes seeing things harmed and is a bit timid, although it is unclear if the latter is nature or a fear of the world around her. She is, after all, under a year old mentally.
Those around her will have great impact on the forming of her personality.
History
Kid's history begins perhaps an hour before she begins on the Island, at least the history that is Kid's alone. If you were to trace her history to her original, and one must to get the full story, it begins far in the past of another world, known as Earth by its inhabitants.
Princess Schala Zeal was the first born child of Queen Zeal and one of her consorts. Many events transpired that lead to the downfall of that kingdom before Schala could take the throne. Her mother had become power hungry and was treating her daughter as nothing more than a tool to raise the "god" known as Lavos. Eventually she was swallowed by that destructive entity and remained trapped as a battery for it until a group of people rewrote history. They were not able to stop the fall of Zeal or the loss of Schala, but by defeating Lavos they freed her.
For some reason, Schala did not show up in any time period of her world. She showed up in the world of Auldrant about six months after Luke sacrificed his life to let the people of Auldrant choose their own fate. Somehow or another, some less than moral scientists working under Jade Curtiss, a soldier who had been allowed his request to continue fomicry research, learned of Schala's connection to such a great power. A series of unlucky events lead Schala to be detained without any of the group knowing. Jade suspected something was up, but the group that had gained the information managed to get things to calm down again before Jade could discover anything.
Schala spent the rest of her life a prisoner. When asked if she would help summon Lavos, she gave a firm no. She gave speeches about she had not called for help across time just so the group could destroy things again. After six months they gave up, having another idea that would eliminate problems of moralistic memories. They kept her alive, and it was not uncommon for them to take blood samples from her. The morning of the day Luke would catapault himself across dimensions via an accidental hyperressonance, Schala was strapped to a machine that had been secretly built. The technology that had been forbidden twice in recent history cloned her.
She wasn't even allowed to ever sit up again. The incidents over two years past involving Asch and his replica made it more than clear both the original and the replica could not be both allowed to co-exist. Beyond that, there seemed to be a problem with stability when two versions of the same person existed. Schala was killed so she could not interfere in any manner, and so the replica could have the greatest chance of surviving... at least long enough for their purposes.
The fons had just settled, the replica that would be named Kid by one Luke fon Fabre had not even woken up when a blinding force ripped through the lab. The scientists would later conclude that the replica had been taken because her fons were so freshly combined. They didn't know what had caused the situation was an accidental hyperresonance, nor that the replica was still alive... but they chose to look for her anyways. After all, they'd had the bright idea to kill the original and now the plans needed the replica... who was in another world and about to meet someone with more empathy than he likely cared to have.
Other
Cross is not canon here. However, I did take some inspiration from it. I find the game to be mostly trash, not total trash. The name of this character is Kid as a reference to Cross. Kid is not Schala here. Go play Tales of the Abyss or watch the OVA and if you can tell me Asch and Luke are the same then I'll concede Schala and Kid are the same. Exact same kind of relation, Kid is a replica.
Created in conjunction with FF for a plot of ours. Also, a note on the image. It is of Schala Zeal, not Kid. But Kid looks exactly, and I mean exactly like Schala, although her outfit is different and her standard expression less pained.
