Physical Description
Laplace's Demon has no true form. Even its presence can not be described, the entity is more "there" than anything else. However, if fate decrees the necessity, it can and will take any form. It does not truly have a main form. The one it is most known for by the residents of the world where Rozen created seven dolls is that of a very tall white rabbit. He is extremely well dressed, lean, and has tall ears more like a hare than a rabbit. He masqueraded as a human shopkeeper in that world, one with unusually slanted eyes and short black hair. But at the end of the day he has no true form and takes whatever fate necessitates.
In regards to his aura, he can have it read as anything he wants. Possibly a power, but it relates to how he is perceived so I placed it here.
Weapons
Laplace's Demon needs no weapons. He only carries it in physical form when fate decrees it.
Abilities/Powers
To put it simply, Laplace's Demon is omniscient. Or at least claims to be, some of his actions make people wonder. Its power comes from the ability to know the exact location of every single thing down to particles so small no science can sense them across the infinite multiverses. As such it knows exactly everything that has been and everything that will be. He knows that the concept of endings, beginnings, and time are things most everything has created to not snap their minds.
Laplace's Demon can not die as a result of this. To be more precise, it is not alive. It is a force that will always exist. This infinite knowledge allows the entity to move around dimensions as it wishes. It can open portals between any world at any time. His knowledge allows him only to be found when he wishes it, or as he would say, when fate wishes it.
Skills
He possesses every mundane power and none. His ability/willingness to use them depends on fate's decree.
Personality
Laplace's Demon is very calm. He comes across to most as arrogant, cocky, self-assured, and manipulative. He actually is, but most of the time his actions are not as a result of his personality. He has complete and total understanding of the unchangable that is fate. He is not a master of fate, as some would accuse him of acting, but merely a puppet who understands it all. For his understanding, he is also aware that once in a very great while fate decides to consider more than one thing as fated. It is these branches that create the multiverse.
Laplace's Demon enjoys the times when fate says he can act as he wishes. In those rare cases, the demon is cruel, manipulative, and deranged. He will pull the loose strings fate has allowed him and manipulate to his heart's content. He does not act depressed when his time to play is over, he merely jumps to another dimension. There is never a time he can not entertain himself due to the infinite nature of the multiverse.
He tends to speak in riddles. The kind of prophecies that can and do mean anything. If a so-called prediction of his turns out wrong, his explanation (if you can get one) is that he merely gave the wrong information to force fate on the right track. He did so because fate decreed it. Most people get headaches within minutes of talking to it. In conversation he is very polite and pretty much impossible to piss off.
History
Laplace's Demon is history and it is not. He is truth and he is not. When the universe began, when it didn't, Laplace began and did not with it. He exists and does not exist within the universe in its entirety. He is always following fate, and everything that has ever happened has happened because of the one force he regards as more powerful than he... Fate.
In one world, he manipulated a man by the name of Rozen. The man realized what he was doing (of course he did, fate wished him to) and after creating seven dolls to fight to become the perfect girl, took some actions he thought were his own. Fate was kind to Laplace's Demon around this time and allowed fate to turn out in a less concrete form. As such the demon worked with Rozen's apprentice, a man by the name of Enju. The result was Enju's seemingly immortality, a death fight between six of the dolls and a fake seventh that Enju had created, and Enju's fading into energy as his usefulness had lost.
In several others, Laplace's Demon was contacted as fate decreed by the reincarnation of those worlds' biblical Cain's. Not directly, but via a program. His predictions, most of which he purposely made false as fate needed it to be for fate to follow as was fated, influenced the actions of several individuals. When it was time to pull back, he created errors in the program. His arrival on the Island is merely by fate. There is no such thing as coincidence, after all...
Other
He does seem a bit godmoded, don't he? He isn't, but the reasons why are hard to explain. Try to think of it in terms of the way many people don't acknowledge his omniscience. When a prediction is/seems wrong, he merely says he said what he had to, what fate told him to. It wasn't wrong, he was merely not honest.
While technically an OC, claiming he is the same as the one in Rozen Maiden and Devil Survivor kind of blurs him into canon enough I'm calling him a canon as the one from Rozen Maiden. If you want the one from Devil Survivor (...okay, it was just an e-mail system though) lemme know.
