Miyako is a Japanese teenage girl of average height and weight, although her ability with fashion tends to allow for very flattering cute looks. Her skin tone leans towards pale, and she is often described as having a cuter than average appearance.
She has large expressive eyes that range from mature to simply cute and are vivid sky blue in color. She wears her waist length yellow hair up in two corkscrew pigtails. There are a few loose strands here and there, but they somehow make her cuter. A thin strand of hair comes down in front of either ear and curls a few times. They fall to her upper chest when hanging down. Her hair ties are small and can not be seen under most circumstances unless they are meant to be.
Miyako's sense of fashion is centered around cute. She is able to dress for any look, and when not focusing on cute she tends to dress in a grown up or pretty style. She is wearing an outfit that, while cute, leans a bit more towards practical than her preferred attire when she comes to the island. It involves a long sleeved long white shirt with buttoned cuffs that hug her wrist tighter than the rest of the shirt. The front buttons up with small and hard to see clear buttons and the collar is folded over like a business shirt. Hanging from her neck is a long blue tie, properly tied.
She has on a light blue gingham miniskirt that closes at the bottom with a strap. The bottom part of the skirt covers any holes the top part makes and is white with a frilly bottom. Her shoes are nice black shoes that snap on with a single strap and a black button, and the soles are blue. Her socks are worn up and come up her lower legs about half way. They are white with a single blue strip just below the top.
Around her waist is the one part of her outfit she almost never takes off, and she is known for coordinating her fashion around it. It's a fancy looking white belt that snaps on, which she wears over the top of her shirt. It hangs from her waist at an angle, the left side hanging down most often. On the right side are three circles. They are blue, dark pink/red, and green respectively, going in that order from the one closest to the belt "buckle". Set in the front of the belt is something that resembles a belt buckle. It is actually a removable compact similar to a make-up compact. It is dark sky blue and has a white base and gold-colored edges. A giant sky blue "P" is emblazoned on the front.
Physical Description (Bubbles)
Rolling Bubbles, or Bubbles as everyone who knows her in this form calls her, seems to look like Miyako in a different outfit. However, she "reads" as Bubbles, not Miyako (see Abilities/Powers).
Aside from the pseudo-scientific art of disguise, the previous basic descriptors for Miyako still apply. However, her outfit is quite different. She is wearing a one piece dark sky blue swimsuit that grows into a miniskirt at the bottom. Near the top, just above the chest the suit is black. It continues to be black the rest of the way up, including the straps.
The mini skirt is pleated like on might see upon a Sailor Moon character. The bottom tip is black. While the skirt extends from the suit as one piece, it fits like a swimsuit underneath. Pantyshots would be no worse than a girl running around in a standard one piece swimsuit.
Bubbles has on a denim mini-vest. The main part is sky blue. The bottom and raised collar of the mini-vest are striped with three stripes. The top and bottom are dark sky blue, and the center is the same sky blue as the rest of the vest. The padded shoulder guard pieces are dark sky blue. She has a black choker.
She wears black fingerless gloves with sturdy rounded wrist guards. A thick dark sky blue strip is at the center of the guards. Near the base of her right middle finger is a gold charm ring of sorts. The top is a large round circle that is dark sky blue with a sky blue "P" set in the center. Her shoes are heavy duty dark sky blue laceless tennis shoes with white soles. They are topped by the same guard as the gloves, with the same pattern. The bottoms of the shoes have a blue hole directly in the center. It raises up just a touch, but its not enough to harm the structure of the shoes. She has a dark sky blue triangular hair clip on her hair above her right eye.
The belt that Miyako wears around her waist is visible on Bubbles as well. It is the only part of her outfit that remains visually the same. This does not give away her identity, however. (see Abilities/Powers).
She has a white light aura to those that can sense it. Not really "holy", but an aura of all things "good and pure".
Weapons (Miyako)
Miyako doesn't carry any weapons. She's not all that capable of using anything that would be considered a weapon, but in a pinch she would probably have some limited makeshift abilities.
The compact set in her belt could be considered a weapon, as its the source of her ability to transform into Bubbles (see Abilities/Powers). The compact comes out of the place it is set in her belt and opens like a cellphone. When opened it reveals a miniature video screen and can be used as a visual communicator.
There are bunches of gold-colored buttons on the inside. The screen is on the top and framed in gold with symmetrical gold circles of varying sizes between the edge and the screen. On the bottom is a large gold button with three triangular buttons below it. From left to right, they are green, dark pink/red, and blue. Above the center button are more symmetrical gold circles.
Weapons (Bubbles)
Bubbles' weapon consists of a giant bubble wand. It is very pale blue bordering on white and stands about 2/3rds taller than Bubbles. Near the large round part at the top is a part where it extends out In a half circle on either side, and there is another one near the bottom. Set in the middle of both of those areas is a large blue circle. The bottom is slightly pointed, but it couldn't be used as a weapon.
The wand can be used for a variety of purposes. She can create bubbles of varying sorts with a wave of it, and the bubbles' functions depend on their type. They can be touch and used to cushion a fall and can trap enemies inside of them. Alternatively, she can whack opponents over the head with it and it'll hurt, but its not how its supposed to be used.
Abilities/Powers (Miyako)
Miyako has only the one power. She is able to use the compact to transform into Bubbles with a shout of "Rolling Bubbles!" - She also has to take the compact out and pass her hand through it to trigger the transformation.

Her bubble wand has a standard set of attacks that consist of creating bubbles. She has a series of named attacks, although it is not impossible for her to improvise should a situation call for it. Her main attacks require varying degrees of stamina, and she doesn't seem to use the stronger ones unless she needs to. They are listed at the bottom.
A power unique to her among the other PPGZ is her ability to communicate with normal animals. She is able to do this so well that the group is able to find things if Bubbles asks animals for directions. It is pretty much unheard of that an animal won't trust her and be willing to communicate with her.
Bubble Champagne - It consists of Bubbles waving her wand, or less often, blowing air through it. Many bubbles are formed and create an obstruction for the enemy.
Balloon Catcher - Bubbles waves her wand and one or more large bubbles appears. They are able to catch a person if they are falling, or obstruct the enemy by trapping them inside.
Bubble Poyon (Translation: Bubble Boing) - Bubbles waves her wand and one or more large bubbles appears. The bubbles are more comparable to flexible bouncy balls then actual bubbles.
Balloon Nebaneba (Translation: Balloon Stickiness) - Bubbles is able to cause her bubbles to function as a very stick substance. It does have a breaking point, but its beyond what almost anything can reach.
Shabon Freedom Finish (Translation: Soap Bubble Freedom Finish) - It is a fancy looking "power up" to Bubble Champagne. It involves Bubbles blowing through the circle in her weapon and creating a spiral of bubbles within a bubble before the bubbles leash on the opponent. It is more powerful.
Energy Ball - Bubbles waves her wand, but rather than bubbles being formed, ball of energy are fired at the opponent. Arguably her strongest attack.
Bubble Popper - Similar to Bubble Champagne, a series of small to medium bubbles flies at her opponent and pop near or on impact. Stings quite a bit.
Abilities/Powers (Both)
Whenever Miyako transforms, her compact sends a signal back to Professor Utonium's (the unofficial guardian of the PPGZ) lab to let him know one of the girls has transformed so he can send reinforcements. As Bubbles, it helps the Professor keep track of where she is.
The Professor can also communicate with the girls via the compacts. However, the dimensional distance between her homeworld and Dimensional Island means the GPS-like function and the long distance communication don't work. If someone good with machines were to open the compacts up, they could alter them to work as super cellphones on the Island.
Also, the compact requires a signal - While it is amazingly good and can function in almost any circumstance, the communication ability fails in subways and similar areas.
Skills
Miyako and Bubbles share the same skills. Anything exclusive to Bubbles is better described as a power.
Miyako is an expert on fashion. She is polite and well behaved and knows many traditional Japanese things. She could perform the infamous Japanese tea ceremony flawlessly if it was required. She is knowledgeable on all the best places to shop for cute fashion, and is able to tell if a store would be a good idea. She is good at bargain hunting as well as long as it relates to fashion.
Even as Miyako, she has a close bond with animals. Most animals, including ones that distrust most humans, seem to have an innate trust with her. She has the odd ability to tell when someone is wearing make-up from a distance, even when it is properly applied. She is also quite good at applying make-up and styling hair, both relating to her skill in fashion.
In battle, she seems a bit absentminded. However, she is more than capable of fighting well if a situation requires it. She tends to function best in a support role, though.
Personality
Miyako has many layers to her personality, but two are most distinct. She is the cheerful, ditzy, cute girl that attracts many followers. She will be holding a conversation and will stop and be distracted by a cute dress. She likes cute animals and pretty much anything that falls under traditional definitions of cute. She's smart enough to get good grades, but not without average amounts of studying. She seems far ditzier than she actually is.
Her other layer is that of a very mature young woman. She is responsible in most of her actions, at least when its important. She is calm and fairly collected. This side of her personality comes through in her way of speaking, as she speaks rather properly at times. Miyako is uninterested in love interests, and her personality seems to attract just about every male at her school. She seems oblivious to most advances towards her, but it comes more from her lack of interest. Somehow it attracts her more followers.
She is very girly, overall. She isn't into boys but things like dresses and stuffed animals make her happy. She won't reject a present, but her taking it doesn't mean she's accepting your advances. She actually already has a love interest, and her attachment to him especially now that she has found him again over the course of being Bubbles prevents her from developing other relationships. She's emotionally very strong and bears pain rather well.
History
Miyako's history actually starts earlier than the other Powerpuff Girls Z. When she was around six, she was in the park. She was being bullied by some children when a boy named Takaaki (she nicknamed him Taka-chan) came to her rescue. He showed her a trick with a bubble wand involving making swirling bubbles inside a larger bubble, and was sickly. He promised to teach her how to perform "Shabon Freedom" when they met again, and Miyako spent that day onward visiting the place she met him every day. He showed up much later (read further).
Aside from that, Miyako was a fairly ordinary girl with an army of fanboys she had no interest in due to her crush on Taka-chan and an interest in fashion. One day Professor Utonium and his son Ken managed to change the properties of Chemical X by dropping a Strawberry bun into the concoction thanks to the digital dog, Peach. It was dubbed Chemical Z. When a giant glacier appeared in Tokyo Bay, Ken fired off the newly formed chemical into the glacier.
Dozens of black lights and four white lights shot from the exploded glacier. The black lights hit various people, animals, and objects throughout Tokyo. The white lights hit Peach and three girls in Tokyo City. It was then that Miyako first transformed into Rolling Bubbles. After some chaos she met up with the other two girls. It took some convincing, but she and Momoko managed to convince the third girl to join up and become the "Fighting Love Science Legend, Powerpuff Girls Z".
The next months would be spent learning about the powers granted to them by the white lights and the powers granted to the new monsters by the black lights. In those months, Miyako would learn that Taka-chan had been hit by the black light and often turned into a werewolf-like monster. It was Miyako/Bubbles who realized what was going on with the "monster" first, and she eventually ended up revealing her identity to him, making him the only one other than the mayor and his assistant that knew about the true identities of PPGZ aside from those directly involved. After that she started visiting him in the hospital everyday.
Eventually she and her friends would learn the black lights came from an entity whose name was so horrible that they called it "Him" to avoid scarring people. The girls worked together and were finally able to seal Him thanks to a bit of creative time traveling and releasing the powers of their white light.
They had thought this would cause them to lose the powers they had come to love, but in an event that astounded Professor Utonium and Ken, all four of them (Peach being the fourth) retained their powers. Then again, so did the monsters, but Him had been defeated. The girls continued to fight to protect the peace of Tokyo City.
One day Miyako and the two other PPGZ (Momoko and Kaoru) were cleaning the Dynamo Z time travel device. They'd gotten into a bit of trouble and were being made to clean it as punishment. Professor Utonium had to step out when Peach alerted the girls to some trouble being raised by a high concentration of black light. It was high enough that Peach was concerned Him had come back.
The girls were understandably worried and transformed. While Dynamo Z wasn't meant to be a weapon, they all agreed it was too cool to not parade around every once in a while. They took off in the Blossom-like mecha and headed towards the source of the black light energy. It was directly over Mt. Fuji when a mysterious short circuit sent Dynamo Z hurtling towards the extinct volcano's crater.
The girls panicked, again quite understandably, and were trying to bust their way out of Dynamo Z when a spark caught Blossom. Bubbles tried to rescue Blossom with her powers, but it caused the odd sparking to jump from a quickly vanishing Blossom to the summoned bubbles, and then to Bubbles herself. She felt a tingling sensation and heard Buttercup shouting her name. The next thing she knew she would be on Dimension Island.
Other
Standard magical girl fare applies for Rolling Bubbles. She has to say her attacks to use them, she can't fight much unless transformed, etc. My Miyako comes from Japanese canon, and indeed, Miyako's reference image is screen capped from the TV-Nihon fansub.
There is NO way to guess Miyako=Bubbles. Not even from stupidly observant characters. Its one of the specifics of her canon. She is known for ending some phrases with ~desu wa. In this case it doesn't have much meaning, but it is a verbal tic of the character. Due to the lack of real translation, it will be written as "~desu wa" in her speech.
Much of her application was copied from my application for Momoko/Blossom for sanity purposes. None of it was capped, though, it was all retyped.

The white lights hit Peach and three girls in Tokyo City. It was then that Miyako first transformed into Rolling Bubbles. After some chaos she met up with the other two girls. It took some convincing, but she and Momoko managed to convince the third girl to join up and become the "Fighting Love Science Legend, Powerpuff Girls Z".
The next months would be spent learning about the powers granted to them by the white lights and the powers granted to the new monsters by the black lights. In those months, Miyako would learn that Taka-chan had been hit by the black light and often turned into a werewolf-like monster. It was Miyako/Bubbles who realized what was going on with the "monster" first, and she eventually ended up revealing her identity to him, making him the only one other than the mayor and his assistant that knew about the true identities of PPGZ aside from those directly involved. After that she started visiting him in the hospital everyday.
Eventually she and her friends would learn the black lights came from an entity whose name was so horrible that they called it "Him" to avoid scarring people. The girls worked together and were finally able to seal Him thanks to a bit of creative time traveling and releasing the powers of their white light.
They had thought this would cause them to lose the powers they had come to love, but in an event that astounded Professor Utonium and Ken, all four of them (Peach being the fourth) retained their powers. Then again, so did the monsters, but Him had been defeated. The girls continued to fight to protect the peace of Tokyo City.
One day Miyako and the two other PPGZ (Momoko and Kaoru) were cleaning the Dynamo Z time travel device. They'd gotten into a bit of trouble and were being made to clean it as punishment. Professor Utonium had to step out when Peach alerted the girls to some trouble being raised by a high concentration of black light. It was high enough that Peach was concerned Him had come back.
The girls were understandably worried and transformed. While Dynamo Z wasn't meant to be a weapon, they all agreed it was too cool to not parade around every once in a while. They took off in the Blossom-like mecha and headed towards the source of the black light energy. It was directly over Mt. Fuji when a mysterious short circuit sent Dynamo Z hurtling towards the extinct volcano's crater.
The girls panicked, again quite understandably, and were trying to bust their way out of Dynamo Z when a spark caught Blossom. Bubbles tried to rescue Blossom with her powers, but it caused the odd sparking to jump from a quickly vanishing Blossom to the summoned bubbles, and then to Bubbles herself. She felt a tingling sensation and heard Buttercup shouting her name. The next thing she knew she would be on Dimension Island.
Other
Standard magical girl fare applies for Rolling Bubbles. She has to say her attacks to use them, she can't fight much unless transformed, etc. My Miyako comes from Japanese canon, and indeed, Miyako's reference image is screen capped from the TV-Nihon fansub.
There is NO way to guess Miyako=Bubbles. Not even from stupidly observant characters. Its one of the specifics of her canon. She is known for ending some phrases with ~desu wa. In this case it doesn't have much meaning, but it is a verbal tic of the character. Due to the lack of real translation, it will be written as "~desu wa" in her speech.
Much of her application was copied from my application for Momoko/Blossom for sanity purposes. None of it was capped, though, it was all retyped.
