Alex is an American teenager of somewhat tall stature. She's taller than a lot of the people she knows, but she doesn't consider herself much past average. She is noticably skinny, but she is still quite healthy. No ribs or anything of the sort would show if you were to pull her shirt off.
She has an average Caucasian complexion. She isn't tanned nor is she pale. Her blond hair is of a commons shade and usually hangs down to her waist, forming a semi-pointed half circle. On the odd occassion she puts it up, its usually just a quick ponytail with a scrunchie. Her bangs are a bit on the long side, and she is as like as not to slip a headband to keep them under control. They are long enough that she has to hold them when she gets a drink out of a water fountain. In some lights, the shade of blond makes her skin look very slightly tanned to some people.
She has attractive blue eyes, made more so by her general level of confidence. Their shade is rather vivid, with a very slight darknening of the blue near the pupils. They are easily her best feature, and they have the average ability to express emotion. She looks her best with a slight grin rather than an all out smile, but both are improvements towards her frowns.
She doesn't really have a "standard" outfit, although she does tend to like in clothes that compliment her figure and/or draw mild attention to herself. By drawing attention it tends to involve things like sparkles or vivid colors as opposed to underclad or "slutty". She dresses in more vivid colors and when she wears jeans they tend to have metal studs, often put there herself in unique patterns.

Most of the Other Alex' descriptions are the same because at the end of the day, she is Alex. She is a true superpowered evil side in that she is merely the darker side of Alex' soul granted dominance. The differences are due to stance and perception, although in a show there would likely be significant appearance changes for Audience Benefit.
The Other Alex is less likely to keep her hair up than Alex. Her more arrogant personality means she is unlikely to "hide" behind her surface self, so she'll often put her hair down even though it will sometimes draw attention to herself. The natural level of confidence Alex shifts to an obvious arrogance, and her feelings that she is better than you comes out pretty clearly. While as Alex has a pretty standard range of expressions, The Other Alex' expressions tend to be an arrogant smirk or, when things go south, an enraged or disbelieving scowl. Her laughs tend to be cackles rather than giggles and she has an all out grin more often as well... although hers is pretty creepy.
When given the chance to choose her outfits, she prefers to dress flashier than Alex. Her outfits tend to be more daring, but somehow even the fashions that would crash and burn on most people are things The Other Alex can pull offf due to her overbearing confidence. She often comes across as more attractive, at least to those people who like a confident woman. The point of her preferred outfits is to draw attention to herself, but its her personality that (for better or worse) keeps the attention.

Neither Alex carries weapons on them. Alex is a normal teenager, and The Other Alex is just an exaggerated dark version of her personality in the same body. Neither of them are beyond using makeshift weapons with whatever they have on hand.

Alex doesn't have any powers, at least not that she's aware of. Its arguable she could use the reverse side of the powers The Other Alex has, but she wouldn't know how. Kind of helps she isn't even all that consciously aware of her other side.

She is in that sense a second personality, formed from magnifying Alex' natural negative potential. The Other Alex has no powers of her own, but she does have a few abilities "loaned" to her from the demon (see Other) that twisted Alex' soul to allow The Other Alex' existance.
The powers are fluid and somewhat on the small side, although potential for huge growth exists. Her basic power is to incite feelings of arrogance and pride in others, to the point of causing them to make stupid mistakes. She has a sense for those most susceptible to falling prey to their prideful tendencies and tends to make them her targets. This relates to how Lucifer is manipulating her, which she is aware of but thinks she is better than.
Skills (Alex)
Alex is, at her most basic, an ordinary teenage girl. She has above average skill in most of her classes, able to make Bs with little effort and As with only a bit. As such, she qualifies as smart and while she's proud of it she doesn't come across as a teacher's pet to most. She is known to irritate people as most things come easier to her than most people and there isn't really anything she does "bad" at. She's good at most things, but a master of none.
She doesn't really have anything other than a sort of natural understanding of things that makes her stand out, though. She's got a decent eye for style and it does come across in her clothes.

The Other Alex has all the skills Alex has, but raised a few notches. This is from her innate lack of lack of confidence. She believes she can do anything and as a result she almost can. Mind over matter and whatnot. The confidence causes a bit in the way of arrogance and stupidity, and she will try some crazy crap just to show she can. Where as with Alex a lot of that stuff would fall short due to uncertaintly, the Other Alex is likely to pull it off. This includes fighting with weapons and various things she has never tried.

Alex has some slight arrogance issues. She's good at a lot of things, and she knows it. Its within normal ranges, and at her worst she's a bit of a bratty teenager. She doesn't seem to really grasp a lot of times that her slight attitude issues causes people to dislike her. Most of her friends just admire her skills and would abandon her in a pinch. In fact, she doesn't really have any "real' friends, just people she knows from school and hangs out with. She's not quite a "popular" kid, but she skirts it on occassion.
She actually has some hidden confidence and self-esteem issues. Somewhere in her psyche, she realizes that she doesn't have any real friends. Sometimes she'll overcompensate to try and make sure her "friends" don't leave her. This sometimes leads to some overachieving on her part, but with how naturally a lot of things seem to come to her it isn't too much of a stretch. One of her biggest weaknesses is she's never had to work that hard for anything.

She'll take up a challenge in something she's never tried, but her innate skills means she is likely to actually win the stupid challenge. If someone doesn't like her, its completely their problem not hers at all. She revels in the way people follow her for her skills, and would kick them to the curb without a remorseful thought. Her confidence makes people pretend to love her and almost everyone to loathe her (which reflects back on Alex, of course).
This girl could do with some self-esteem issues. Such a thought would make The Other Alex laugh. She'll try things just to prove she can wipe the floor with them. Her greatest attribute is her greatest weakness, and given the chance to ego bash the girl will comply. Due to her innate ability to fall people to fall to the corruption of their own pride, she gets a thrill out of it and often seeks people with enough of an ego to bash with. She'll even sneak out at night to do so.

Alexis Caroll was born and lived her entire life in Seattle, Washington. Nothing that most would consider special occured to the girl. She was somewhat gifted and able to do at least moderately well in most things she tried, developing a sort of disinterest in many things. She never really had a solid friend, but enough people came and went from her circle the only effect was a bit of a hit on her abilty to attach to people.
What she didn't realize that of her home universe, she was the girl that for whatever reason had the most natural potential for the Sin of Pride and simultaneosly the Virtue of Humility. As such a special individual, she was keyed in on by two entities. A demon calling itself Lucifer and its reflection on the plane of light in the form of an angel. Due to Alex' personality leaning towards the Sin, it was Lucifer that found her and was able to corrupt her first, drawing out the negative aspect of her soul into its own personality.
With that action successful, he didn't wait for Alex to regain dominance over herself. The world they were in was not suitable for his purposes. So he used his power as a demon to transport Alex and her new "side" to Dimensional Island with the burst of power gained from the first person The Other Alex corrupted. The person who awoke on the Island would be a very confused Alex unaware of her other self...
Other
There are plans for six other human characters with similar "superpowered evil sides", each based upon the Seven Sins and Virtues. None of the characters from this plot are available without my express permission. The Lucifer for this plot is seperate from the Lucifer I already have. The angel will be a character, but it doesn't have a name yet. (Yes, this means 21 characters in all, but plans are for another RPer on site to take on some of them).
The angels and demons in this plot are like the angels and demons in my Vault of Chaos story. They have no direct theological connection and instead represent sentient "spirits" of light and dark. The names adopted are a reflection of human myth rather than "truly" being those entities.
