Physical Description
From a distance, and even up close if she is putting effort into disliking you, Bry looks like a large orb of pale blue light with four dragonfly like wings. The longer wings are higher up and angled up a bit. The smaller wings, less then even half the length of the top ones, are angled down and a bit more circular than the rounded rectangles that are her upper wings.
If you are able to get a good look at her, Bry appears to be an extremely feminine young woman. She has thin pointed ears that taper up quite a bit. They are more pointed, slimmer, and a bit longer than the average pointed ears of humans in her homeworld. Her eyes are a bit narrow and a bit pointed, they do seem a fair bit critical but are more than capable of looking gentle. They are of a fairly standard shade of green. She is rather skinny, but not to the point of showing ribs. She has medium dirty blond hair. Her bangs are two midsized strips that come up and hang down in front of her ears down to her chin. Most of her hair is pulled into a very short low-hanging ponytail, kept in place by what looks like cloth bandages, very thin cut.
Her outfit is very simple and consists almost completely of the white cloth bandages she uses to keep her ponytail up with. Her chest, which is small, is strapped down with multiple wrappings of bandages. It is looped around her neck and between her two sets of wings to avoid conflicting with her wings. On the front, in black and likely placed by permanent marker, is a very small triforce symbol. Above it and one to either side is an inverted triangle. Three directly in line with each other are below the triforce. The symbol matches the symbol her partner Sheik has on the back of his vest.
Bry has bracers of sort made for her wrists with the bandages as well. She has what seems to be glorified underwear made of multiple wrappings of cloth, however there are a few pieces tied aroudn the top that hang down and create a sort of mini skirt. Her feet and ankles have bandages wrapped around them as well in a manner you might see an athlete wrap their feet.

Bry doesn't carry any weapons on her. Goodness knows where she would put it.
Abilities/Powers
Bry can use some limited faerie magic. Over the years she has developed some very slight healing powers, although they are not standard for her subrace of faerie. Generally the magic is limited to concealing herself or the art of misdirection. Her ability to communicate with animals is a racial thing, and as such qualifies as an ability.
Skills
For her size, Bry has some pretty phenomenal intimidation skills. She is also very good at hiding, even considering her size. She is good at stealth and uses her size as an advantage for things such as sneaking into locations. Her greatest skill tends to revolve around her abilities as a scout. Because of her stealth abilities, she is often able to spy and relay information back to those that need it. She is a very quick flyer and would be very agile even if you were to take her size into account. She is also a rather good cook, even able to manage proportions for a normal sized human male and herself.
Personality
Bry tends to be quite serious. She has developed a shell towards a lot of things over her centuries of life. However, she still dislikes death and killing and tends to look away when those around her are forced to do it. She is very mature and has quite the head on her shoulders. She is able to function as a source of wise advice. She has her emotional moments, however, and she tends to need someone she can function on an emotional give and take with nearby. She has a knack for seeing things how they really are, but not necessarilly the ability to react properly to the truth.
She suffers a bit from not being allowed to hang near others. Due to what her charge does, she tends to only be able to have him as company. She would much prefer to be social, to be in a bustling place with lots of people, but she takes her first and foremost duty of protecting the last Prince of Hyrule very seriously. There is a dualism to her. She would like to have fun and relax, but she is dedicated to her duty. Sometimes this causes a bit of emotional duress, but it would never be enough to cause her to abandon her duty. She is a good and loyal friend.

She would never try to honestly hurt a person, but sometimes she doesn't realize how cruel she can be. Bry was a teenager by faerie standards when she was summoned to the presence of a lesser known Great Faerie hidden in a place of the forest even the legendary Kokiri of ancient times would have never found. Queen Zelda of Hyrule had become pregnent, and the Great Faerie Navi knew from the connections her age had granted to the land of Hyrule that the child would need a friend and guardian. While it was rather unheard of for those not of the forest to have guardian faeries, Navi ordered Bry to go to the child's side upon its birth. While she had her rebellious and smart ass moments, Bry respected the thin chain of command among her people. A Great Faerie never made an order unless it was necessary.
When the prince was born, Bry waited until he was cleaned up and then approached him. Both the Queen Zelda and her Prince Consort Link were in the room when she arrived. She gave deference towards both of them and informed them she had come to accompany their child. Both of them respected the faerie folk and while puzzled were happy to let her remain with Sheik. She grew up with the boy. She was at Sheik's side when he began to have nightmares, but the dark forces within the throne room the day his parents died prevented her from granting any help. She heard the voices of the goddesses as the situation was heading south in the throne room, and with no other choice she followed their orders to find the nursemaid Impa. It was due to her actions that Impa was able to be saved by the goddesses along with the prince.
She stayed by Sheik's side, having received no sign she was relieved from her duties. As Hyrule fell around him and the Sheikah, she provided what comfort she could. It was Bry that first realized Sheik didn't seem to be aging. Faeries had a bit of resonance with life force, after all. She was Sheik's one constant companion as history marched on. She served as a scout, a spy, an ally, and a friend to the immortal prince as he worked with the renamed Sheikah to observe the reborn incarnations of the Princess and Hero.
It was in modern times that the Sil Agency lost track of the Hero upon his leaving the countryside. Sheik was more concerned with keeping an eye on the Princess. The observation of the girl shared with Impa lead to discovering that not only had the Hero shown up in this village and the chances of he and the Princess meeting high, but the King had reincarnated here as well. Sheik kept most of his focus on him, which doubled in letting him observe the Hero due to their frequent interactions.
It took Sheik so long to decide to kill Akhar because Bry was against it. As she could see it, Akhar was an unwilling victim to the whims of his past life. However, she couldn't order Sheik to do anything and when the decision was finally made to kill the teenager she cooperated. Her last bit of resistance as he closed in on Akhar caused her to be noticed by the Princess. She rang with alarm, distracting Sheik and allowing Akhar to flee from the situation. Sheik's attempts to flee by muddling the Princess' thoughts with his magic had the unexpected effect of teleporting them both away. Bry grabbed onto Sheik and managed to arrive on Dimension Island by his side...

Bry functions to Sheik in a similar fashion that Navi (and Tatl, technically) functioned to Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask's Link. The Navi mentioned in her backstory is that Navi, as she serves a function in Rebirth of Destiny. The reasons why she is now a Great Faerie are not important to Bry's app. I have chosen to use the spelling faerie across the board, although there is some fanon regarding Faerie vs Fairy. Faerie is more real world historically accurate, and in the fanfiction people spell it both ways the way people in our world do.
Bry's name is a play on things the way Navi, Tatl, and Tael's are. Bry takes key letters from "Bravery" to make a feminine name. Originally her name was Yuuko, but I've been trying to cut down on the Japanese or "sounds like" Japanese in the story. Yuuko was meant to reference Yuuki, the romaji for courage. So her name origin is roughly the same.
