Oh... my... god.
This took WAY too long.
Um... beware of spoilers. There's a lot of them.
Full Name: Souji Seta
Nicknames: Banchou, Izanagi (This is more the name of the god Souji is an avatar of than Souji’s own name, despite personality similarities and such), Shadow (insult related to his true self used by Izanagi)
Age: 18 (very soon to be 19)
Height: 180 cm
Weight: ?
Gender: Male
Race: Human Avatar
Alliance: Good
Home: Yasoinaba, Japan (during the events of P4)
Franchise: Persona 4
Physical Description: Souji is fairly tall, easily towering over even some of his male friends. He’s fairly in shape, and he has a bit of muscle on him. One of his most noticeable characteristics is his short silver hair and grey eyes, which stand out quite a bit considering his apparent nationality, though uncommon hair colors aren’t all that uncommon where he’s from. His short hair is cut in a bowl cut, and his bangs hang down in his eyes a bit.
When it comes to clothing, Souji prefers neutral colors-- blacks, greys, whites, and browns. His clothing is never very casual, and it’s really rare to see him in just a plain t-shirt and jeans. During the winter months, Souji usually wears a brown button up shirt with a black jacket over it, as well as black slacks and shoes.
Due to being transported to the island with his suitcase still on him, Souji still possesses his old Yasogami High uniform. It consists of a black jacket over a white button up shirt (which Souji leaves untucked), black pants, and brown shoes.
Though he doesn’t always wear them, one thing Souji always carries on him is a pair of grey rimmed glasses. These glasses can see through the thick fog in the TV World and are essential for traversing it.
Weapons: Souji prefers two handed swords, though he most often uses katanas.
Abilities/Powers: Due to events in his homeworld regarding a certain goddess and a long-nosed man, Souji is capable of summoning a Persona. He was granted the ability to summon a “base” level of the Persona Izanagi by the goddess Izanami, and certain interference by the denizens of the Velvet Room granted Souji the ability to summon multiple Personas. Due to various events, Souji’s main persona has evolved once again from Izanagi to Izanagi-no-Okami. In truth, this Persona ability is the only thing keeping Souji’s mind from being wiped away, as it mucks with Izanagi’s control over him.
Souji is also capable of seeing through the fog in the other world of the TV World better than most humans, though nowhere near as well as he could with the glasses on.
In truth, there are a great many other powers Souji could possibly use, some of them related to his supposed “true nature” as a Shadow, others related to his position as an avatar of Izanagi. He’s also unable to consciously access 99.99% of them without Izanagi’s help, and his love-hate relationship with the god plus his general dislike of them prevents him from using them.
Because the “Souji” existence is really a Shadow hosted in a human shell, there is one Shadow related phenomenon he is vulnerable to. During times of high stress (such as when their existence is denied by their source mind), a Shadow will go berserk, and if they’re not stopped somehow, will likely kill whoever caused this stress and anyone who tries to get in the way. When this berserk mode is activated, the irises of his eyes change from silver to a glowing yellow, and it becomes nearly impossible to get anything through to Souji.
Skills: Souji is actually rather good at housework, particularly cooking.
Personality: For a while, Souji was a distant, though otherwise friendly loner with a pessimistic outlook on life due to having to move so much. He’s still rather distant, but he isn’t as pessimistic anymore due to the various events that occurred in Inaba and on the Island. When meeting new people, he tends to take a while to warm up to them, but once he does, he’s rather friendly to them. He considers his friends very important; hurt them, and you will suffer. Not in the “hai I’m a cliché RP character made by some 10 year old” sense, in the “I will hurt you, and then maybe string you upside down from a telephone pole, you son of a bitch” sense, which leads quite nicely into one of Souji’s bigger problems: his explosive temper. When Souji gets mad, he tries to keep calm, but it never really helps other than making him madder, and when he finally explodes, it tends to be rather… extreme.
History: Souji’s never really lived in a single home all of his life. Like many Japanese kids, Souji’s parents worked a lot. Their jobs involved a lot of moving around, and since Souji wasn’t homeschooled, this meant a lot of school transfers. At the worst, he’d only spend a month in a single school before having to move again. After a while, Souji just started ignoring everyone and not even bothering to try to make friendships, even when everyone else would try to talk to him. In his mind, there was no reason to cause unnecessary pain when he did inevitably move again.
This continued until Souji was 17, when it turned out his parents had to work overseas for a year. It was eventually decided that Souji would live with his uncle in Inaba and stay there for the next school year.
This was when things got weird. During the train ride to Inaba, Souji fell asleep, and dreamed of a strange blue limousine. In the limousine, he met a long-nosed man named Igor and his assistant Margaret, and somehow got roped into signing a sort of contract. He would meet with them again later.
Upon arrival to Inaba, Souji met up with Ryotaro Dojima, his uncle, and Dojima’s daughter, Nanako. On the way to Dojima’s house, they stopped at a gas station, where Souji was introduced to a strangely familiar station attendant, who then shook Souji’s hand. For some reason, he felt sick afterwards, but thought nothing of it. He settled into their house, and fell asleep in the old guest room, which had been converted into his own personal bedroom for the duration of the stay. That was when things got weird again. Souji had a dream about a strange fog filled area. Strangely enough, he could see through the fog somewhat, and managed to make his way to the end of it, where a fog shrouded figure taunted him. Souji was unable to defeat it, even with the strange power he could use in this dream world.
Souji transferred into Yasogami High School the next day. The next day was typical for Souji: jackass teachers, people trying to be friends with him, the usual. He tried to remain distant, but somehow he got roped into a friendship with Chie Satonaka and Yukiko Amagi. That day, he walked home with them, and the first hint that things were not as they seemed in Inaba appeared. Quite namely, the dead body of a famous TV reporter was found hanging from an antenna. The next day, Souji inadvertently befriended Yosuke Hanamura by helping him after his bike crashed, and Yosuke took Souji and Chie out for food at the local Junes, which Yosuke’s family owned. There, Souji met Saki Konishi and learned of the Midnight Channel from Chie. The three of them agreed to try out the Midnight Channel that night. However, during the broadcast, something peculiar happened, and Souji touched the TV to see what would happen. His entire hand and almost his entire body ended up getting sucked in. Souji managed to get himself out, but the experience revealed there was definitely something odd going on in Inaba.
Events at Junes led to Souji trying to put his hand in the TV again, and eventually led to Chie, Yosuke, and himself falling into the TV and landing in a world on the other side of the TV, where they met a strange bear who called himself Teddie, and found what looked like a hotel room… except it was covered in blood and posters, and there was a noose hanging from the ceiling in the middle of it. Eventually, with Teddie’s help, the three of them got out of the TV, and went home.
The next day, Saki Konishi’s dead body was found hanging from a telephone pole. Yosuke was crushed, and convinced Souji to go into the other side of the TV with him again to investigate due to realizing that the other side had something to do with the murders. Events on the other side led to Souji realizing his ability to summon the Persona Izanagi, and soon after this, having to defeat the manifestation of Yosuke’s suppressed self, known as a Shadow. This led to Yosuke gaining the ability to summon a Persona as well.
Time passed, with all of Souji’s friends eventually gaining the ability to summon a Persona by facing their suppressed selves after being thrown into the other side by who they assumed the killer was. However, as Souji began getting closer to the truth, someone began sending letters to him telling him to stop rescuing people, or else. The first of these letters concerned him, the second of them led to him getting detained in the police station by Dojima, who was a detective. While he was detained in the station, Nanako was kidnapped and thrown into the TV by Taro Namatame, the man behind the kidnappings. In order to avoid being arrested too by a frenzied Dojima, Namatame threw himself into the TV as well, ending up in Nanako’s reality. The very next day, Souji and his friends rushed through the long maze that made of Nanako’s reality, going through an area that would normally take them days in only a matter of hours, just to rescue Nanako. Souji confronted Namatame and attempted to get information about the case from him before rescuing Nanako. This led to Namatame becoming angered. Eventually, Namatame’s Persona (in the form of his Shadow) took over his body and called several Shadows into his own body, forming a being known as Kumino-Sagiri. Souji defeated it and knocked Namatame out, and once Namatame was no longer a threat, grabbed Nanako and ran for the exit. Whatever had happened in the TV World had harmed Nanako much worse than it had the others, though, and she had to be hospitalized for a period. Souji fell into a depression and visited Nanako every day while she was in the hospital, ignoring all of his other friends to do so. Eventually, the others convinced him to go to Junes and buy Nanako something to make her happy for when she finally recovered. While there, he received a phone call from Dojima’s partner, Tohru Adachi, explaining that Nanako’s condition had suddenly gotten worse. The group rushed to the hospital, though only Souji was admitted into her room while the nurse went to find Dojima. Souji stayed by Nanako’s bedside as she breathed what would seem to be her final breaths. Dojima didn’t make it to Nanako’s room in time to see her before she died.
Souji finally had to be led outside as Kanji confronted Adachi about where Namatame was, and the group, minus Teddie, who stayed by Nanako’s bedside, ran to Namatame’s room in the hospital. While the police guard led a distraught Dojima away, the group snuck into Namatame’s room. Naoto observed the large TV in the room, and it got into the group’s heads that Namatame should be killed for what he had done. Yosuke nearly went ahead with it before Souji screamed at everyone to calm down and think about what was going on. Ever since finding Namatame in the TV World, Souji had doubts about things. He wanted to blame everything on Namatame, but somehow he found he just couldn’t. The group returned to outside Nanako’s hospital room, where it was revealed that Nanako wasn’t really dead, as they had managed to get her heart to start again.
Eventually, Souji managed to deduce who the actual killer had to be: Tohru Adachi. The group confronted the man, managed to get him to admit his guilt, and followed him into the TV World, where Adachi revealed exactly how he killed the first two victims and what his true plans were: to turn everyone in their world into Shadows. The group followed Adachi into his reality within the TV World, a distorted version of Inaba, and fought him there. It was revealed then that Adachi possessed the same Persona as Souji, something that deeply concerned him. Partway through the fight, the being possessing Adachi’s body took full control, and collected Shadows around it to form Ameno-Sagiri, a fog spewing being behind all of the fog that had been leaking into their world for so long. Together, the group defeated it, and Ameno-Sagiri retreated. Adachi was taken out of the TV World and arrested for the murders of Mayumi Yamano and Saki Konishi.
Several months passed without incident, but things continued to nag at Souji, especially when foggy days came around. On the day before Souji was to leave Inaba for good, he received a letter from a recently convicted Adachi suggesting that there was someone much bigger behind everything. Souji asked around town, and eventually tracked down the true mastermind: the goddess Izanami, who had been masquerading as a gas station attendant for many months now and granting Persona summoning powers to anyone that caught her fancy. She taunted Souji and challenged him to enter her domain within the TV World and finally defeat her for good. Souji followed her, partly out of his own sense of justice, and partly because something inside him compelled him to. Inside Izanami’s reality within the TV World, Souji discovered he represented Hope in Izanami’s test of humanity, while Adachi had represented Emptiness and Namatame Despair, but because Adachi’s actions had become more recognized in the world of mortals, it was Adachi’s vision that had nearly come true, not Souji’s own. Souji finally challenged the goddess in the deepest part of her reality, and together with his friends, battled against her.
However, it was impossible to defeat Izanami, even after Souji stripped her of her illusion and revealed her true form of Izanami-no-Okami. Finally, Izanami decided to end it all and tried to pull Souji, and only Souji down to the Underworld, Yomi. But each time her shadowy claws reached up from Yomi, one of Souji’s friends would push him out of the way. In the end, it was only Souji and Rise left before Souji was finally pulled down.
Souji nearly gave up then and there, but the bonds he had made over his stay in Inaba came to him then and helped him regain his confidence to fight again. He channeled this power into his initial Persona, Izanagi, and it changed into its true form of Izanagi-no-Okami. Souji broke free of Yomi and appeared back in Izanami’s reality. Izanami continued to try to attack him, but none of her attacks would connect. Finally, Souji threw away the glasses that allowed him to see through the fog of deceit and summoned Izanagi-no-Okami, defeating Izanami with “ten-thousand truths”.
What happened directly after that Souji isn’t quite sure. When he was next aware, all of his friends were alive again and Izanami was telling them that she would no longer interfere with humanity. The fog lifted from the TV World and its true form of a beautiful land, unpolluted by humanity’s hearts, appeared. The group finally left the TV World for what they thought would be good, and the next day, they all saw Souji off at the train station. Souji had just pulled a photo they had taken together from his jacket pocket to look at it when a surge of energy moved through their world, pulling several Persona users from their dimension and to the Dimensional Island.
Souji arrived on the island confused and startled. Luckily, he still had his belongings, so he escaped a problem several new arrivals ended up with. After finding out what had likely happened to him, Souji fell into a bit of a depression, but went ahead and got an apartment at the apartment complex. It was only the second night after he’d appeared on the island that things got… odd. Around midnight, the whole world turned to green, the water to blood, and the people to coffins. Souji found himself attacked by Shadows, and summoned his Persona to fight them. It was at that moment Souji realized something was wrong with his Persona, as it had changed back into Izanagi. Souji ran through the apartments, and ran into a blue haired teenager with odd headphones, who was yelling something about a "Midori-chan", and then ran into a spiky haired teenager Souji swore he'd seen on TV one day, and a blue haired Persona user wearing a Gekkoukan High School uniform. Souji recalled something he'd heard from Margaret once about a blue haired boy her sister had gone to free, and realized that this person had to be him. After making it outside and protecting the first blue haired person Souji had run into, Keiichi "K1" Kimura, until the Dark Hour ended, Souji and the others introduced themselves. The spiky haired teenager was Yuugi Mutou, and the other blue haired teenager was Minato Arisato. The person K1 had been going on about had become a coffin, and her name was Midori Komaki. Souji hung around K1 and Yuugi for a while, and helped Yuugi face himself after he ended up in the TV World (which was all entirely and completely Souji's fault). After the TV World, K1 and Yuugi left together while Souji stayed at the mall to examine what he had come there to investigate in the first place: a dead body hanging from a cell phone tower.
A few days passed, and Souji discovered that Adachi had appeared on the island, and due to various events, ended up stealing Yuugi's puzzle and throwing it into the TV World. K1, Souji, Minato, and Yuugi all entered to rescue Atem, and upon leaving, discovered Atem had gained his own body while in the other side. He also realized then that Yuugi and Atem loved each other. However, events inside that reality led to Minato losing control of his Persona, Orpheus.
Eventually, another body was found hanging upside down from a telephone pole, and Souji ended up dragging just about their entire group, including K1's cousin Naoya, off to the mall to investigate. He found Naoto there, and realized that some other people from their world had to be there. Inside the TV, Souji discovered what could only be his own reality inside the TV World. Eventually he encountered his Shadow, but managed to send it into a berserk state with thoughts alone. He eventually accepted it, causing the Persona to form back into Izanagi-no-Okami.
Soon after this, they decided to go on a small vacation, and left for Giant's Lake. During the trip, Souji talked with Minato, and the two struck up a friendship. Souji's tension with Naoya continued, and Souji managed to find Kanji, making three people from his world he'd managed to find. The vacation ended up being cut short when Naoya and K1 were attacked by shadows and stricken with Apathy Syndrome. Minato fell into a depression and Souji realized that Minato was likely planning to sacrifice himself the same way he had back in their homeworld once they killed the Arcana Shadow behind Naoya and K1's Apathy Syndrome. Before the Arcana Shadow could be killed, K1's twin brother, Keiji "K2" Kurosawa, was kidnapped by the demon K1 had come to the island to kill in the first place. A few days passed, and it came time to kill the Arcana Shadow. The Duelist Arcana Shadow was eventually defeated, and K1 and Naoya woke up. Souji went with them to rescue K2, and was surprised to find the teenager literally crucified. Once K1 killed Belphegor, K2 was rescued and the group headed back to the apartments.
It was only a couple days after this that Minato left for Tartarus with Souji, Yuugi, and Atem. The group got split up, and Minato ended up in the TV World, requiring the whole group to rescue him from his messed up version of Tartarus inside it. At the top of Tartarus, they found Teddie, which Souji was glad about; Minato's Shadow, which they managed to defeat and Minato to accept; and a strange scarved boy, named Ryoji. Ryoji bothered Souji, and Souji eventually confronted Minato about it. He quickly learned the truth: that Ryoji was the one who would call Nyx to their world and cause the Fall. Because Ryoji had no memory of things, it was decided Ryoji would stay in Souji's apartment and Teddie in Minato's.
Time passed, and Souji discovered a flier for a festival at a shrine dedicated to Izanami. He was bothered enough to go and check it out, and found just what he'd been worried about: Izanami's creepily similar human form, only this time she wasn't a gas station attendant, but a miko. Souji and Izanami argued, and Souji eventually brought up the topic of how his Persona was Izanagi despite Izanami's hate for him. This only made Izanami more enraged, and in her anger, didn't even realized she'd called Souji "Izanagi." That one very word awakened something deep within Souji and he ran from the shrine in a panic. He hid inside his apartment for a while, and the emotions churning inside him from that eventually drove him to go to the festival with the others, if just so he could confront Izanami about that. His attempt to confront Izanami didn't go very well, as they were interrupted partway through by the revelation that "Death" was on the hunt. Minato's panicked reaction meant it could be only one thing: Ryoji. They found Ryoji passed out and a terrified Anpu. Once Naoto took Ryoji away to get him to a doctor, Minato and Souji explained everything about Ryoji to the others.
The group eventually split up again, as Souji had to go to the bathrooms. On his way to meet back up with them, Souji heard a voice in his head, and it just wouldn't shut up. Something about the voice made Souji feel very physically sick. He zoned out for a bit, and next thing he knew, Teddie was shaking him and Naoto was asking if he was alright. Souji lied and said he was fine, but every time the voice spoke, he felt like he was fading for a moment. Souji finally separated himself from the rest of the group and confronted the voice, which revealed itself to be Izanagi, and that Souji was his avatar. The group returned back to the apartments.
Things only got worse from there. The next day, Souji went to a coffee shop in Void City to talk to Izanagi in private, and explained why the avatar deal bothered him so much. However, shortly after leaving the shop, Souji collapsed. The arrival of Anpu made Souji realize he'd been poisoned, especially once Anpu managed to get a police car take him to Izanami's shrine again. Izanami and Izanagi talked at the shrine while Souji struggled to regain movement, and the way they talked made Souji realize that they both saw him as nothing but a shell. And then, partway through their argument, Izanagi took full control of Souji's body, managed to pull away from Izanami and escape. Izanagi began to attempt to beat Souji out of existence and eventually ran into the group. Izanagi attempted to pretend to be Souji, but Minato figured out that it wasn't Souji after a few misplaced honorifics. Izanagi explained what had happened to Souji and began to explain what had happened to him, even calling him just a Shadow a few times during the conversation. Souji managed to gain control for a brief second to assure the others he was still alive before Izanagi took control again. Ryoji decked Izanagi, and Izanagi spat that Ryoji was just the same as Souji at him. Ryoji was left stunned, and once the group left to return to the apartments, Ryoji split off and went to research things at the library.
As the day went on, Izanagi continued to try to push Souji out of existence, and by the time Izanagi went up to Yuugi and Atem's apartment to wait for Izanami, Souji was only barely there. It was only when Izanagi made a comment about Souji no longer existing that Souji's spirit flared up again... and at that point, Souji's memories completely stopped. When Souji was aware again, he back in his body, and in a lot of pain. He didn't know what had happened, but he was aware again, if rather tired and worried. After a nap, Souji asked Yuugi and Atem what he'd done directly after getting back in his body, and they answered honestly. He'd cussed Izanagi out, and one of his eyes had been yellow, like a Shadow's. Souji remained anxious, but he continued to assure Yuugi and Atem that he was fine and that he'd be okay. It was only when Yuugi hit one of his concerns (that he might be forced to go to the TV World) that he finally gave in and talked about what was worrying him. He was worried about what he might do if he really was a Shadow, especially after what he'd done to Izanagi. Souji was now sure that he'd gone berserk on the god, and that had been what had forced him out of his body. They had no time to talk more, as Izanami appeared at their apartments... and so had an awakened Ryoji, who changed to his true form of Death to confront her. She finally left after Bakura realized that he was Anpu's reincarnation and broke off Anpu's deal with Izanami.
Time passed, and several events occurred between then and the Fall. Izanagi came back, and convinced Souji to try using some of his latent powers to spy on Ryoji, with disastrous results, as Souji ended up walking in on a discussion between Ryoji and Nyx. K1, Naoya, and K2 returned, but they had all changed since they'd left, with K1 becoming a demon king and Naoya and K2 his direct subordinates. The three of them now went by the names of Abel, Cain, and Seth, and they brought along two others: Atsuro Kihara and Tadashi "Kaido" Nikaido. Souji discovered that Anpu had been testing the same poison he'd used on him before on various kids in the area, even killing one, and nearly lost it on Bakura there and then, and actually did lose it on Adachi. Yuugi discovered an injured Bakura, and Souji helped take him back to the apartments. Later that night, Souji discovered from Teddie that Adachi had tried to kill another officer (in fact, the same officer who had aided in Souji's kidnapping), Kenji Takahashi. Souji eventually got roped into helping stop Adachi from throwing the Milennium Ring into a TV, and encountered a strange Persona user named Lucius Starr. Ryoji finally gave in to the constant pull and changed into Nyx Avatar in front of Minato one night, and Minato was left so traumatized and depressed from the incident that Souji had to help explain things.
Later, Souji, Yuugi, and Atem got jobs at the same coffee shop Souji had been poisoned at, and Souji left the shop in a mostly good mood, though the Fall was still looking over his head. This good mood was absolutely ruined when Izanami showed up and then offered to rescue him when the Fall finally hit. Souji initially turned her down... and then Izanagi informed Souji that Izanami was in love with him. Souji was shocked, especially considering how Izanami had reacted toward him before, and finally gave in to her demands, only for Izanami to reveal she would have rescued him anyways once the Apathy Syndrome set in. Souji... didn't react well. He wasn't feeling any better the next day, when he had to go into work only an hour after Yuugi and Atem. Things only got worse when a white wolf calling itself Amaterasu appeared, and then her interpreter, a buglike being named Issun, had to imply that Souji and Izanami were in a romantic relationship. Souji had a bit of an overblown reaction to that as well. Finally, Souji took Amaterasu and Issun to Minato to learn about the Fall from someone who had already gone through it before.
Soon after this, Jounouchi and Anzu appeared on the island, and Souji realized that Adachi had somehow gotten Bakura's Ring and thrown it into the TV, thinking Anpu was in it but it really being Bakura. Souji, Yuugi, Anzu, Minato, and Teddie all went into the other side to rescue Bakura, which ended in failure due to the interference of a demon that had been tailing Souji for a while, Nyarlathotep. That night, Souji watched Bakura's program on the Midnight Channel, and after Adachi was shot, found out from him that Lucius was really Lucifer and that Adachi had sold his soul to him to get the Ring. Izanagi tried to cut in once, but Souji finally blew his top on the god. At that moment, Izanagi disappeared from Souji's mind.
The group came back to Bakura's TV World the next day, along with Jounouchi, Atem, Naoto, and Kanji, and an injured Adachi appeared later. However, Souji could tell something was very wrong with Adachi's Persona now, especially with the way it kept looking at him, and the comments the NPCs in Bakura's game world kept making were not helping. Souji's fears were confirmed when Adachi was suddenly taken over by his Persona on the way to where Bakura was being kept. The Persona focused only on attacking Souji until the others tried to interfere, and it was only when Lucius appeared and blasted Adachi with a rather strong bit of energy that Magatsu Izanagi left Adachi's body. Bakura was finally rescued just in time as the fog began to set in in their world, but he didn't gain his own body like Atem had.
A week passed, and Souji fell into a bit of a depression just from everything that had happened. He stopped talking to everyone except Teddie and Minato, who was in an even greater depression just over EVERYTHING. About two days before the Fall, Minato locked himself inside his apartment, and Souji didn't bother him any more. It was when the day of the Fall finally came that Souji realized Minato hadn't locked himself away. Minato had left for Tartarus two days ago. The whole group met up with Abel's Court of Bel as well as Amaterasu shortly before the Dark Hour started and Tartarus appeared. The teleporter inside Tartarus was broken, but Amaterasu used her Celestial Brush to fix it, allowing the group to continue up Tartarus. When they reached the roof, they found Minato pinned to a pillar by a large sword, and a large Shadow wearing Ryoji's face as its mask. The group attempted to fight as the mask continued to crack, and they all spoke of their personal reasons to continue fighting. In order to shatter their will, Nyx took full control of her avatar and ripped the mask off before crushing it. It worked too well, and Minato utilized an ability Souji lacked to try to kill Nyx: he summoned more than one Persona at once. Cain ended up being the one to knock Minato out, but the Megidolaon Cain used went a little too far and killed Minato. Once Minato was gone, Nyx moved ahead with the Fall. Souji was helpless to stop her, and struggled to stand against the pure force of Nyx's power. And then.... Minato stood up again. He stood against Nyx's force, and he seemed to be waiting for something which finally came in the form of a Persona that belonged to no one in the group. The whole group appeared in a clearing nearby Tartarus and watched as the tower dissolved. Ryoji's voice spoke in their heads saying they would all remember what had happened, and then everything went black.
When Souji awoke, he was in his apartment again. And just like Ryoji had said, he remembered everything. He rushed down to Minato's apartment and when Minato let them in, they discovered Ryoji was a normal human again, and everyone was okay. The Fall had been averted, and everyone was safe, but doubts still weight heavily on Souji's mind. Mainly, about Izanagi, who he hadn't spoken with in a week. And things never stayed quite that calm for their group...
Other: Izanagi is considered the same character as Souji in the sense that Souji is an aspect of Izanagi (or would it be the other way around? >3), and Izanagi doesn't have a true form as it appears on the island, instead taking many, MANY different forms, particularly as Personas.

This took WAY too long.
Um... beware of spoilers. There's a lot of them.
