Physical Description
Pegasus is a rather tall American man of vaguely European descent. His white skin carries a light tan to it. His long silver hair has a bit of a metallic seeming sheen to it. His bangs flow seemlessly into his straigh hair, which has a cut that seems to frame his shoulder. It falls just short of the mid point of his back. His hair is positioned in a way that it always covers his left eye socket.
The exposed right eye is brown, and he tends to wear an extremely high quality custom fake eye of the same color. It moves as naturally as an ocular implant can, but it has the standard problem of an unusual shine and not focusing. It is rarely an issue due to how his bangs fall.
Pegasus always dresses very well, although he is rather known for somewhat flamboyant attire. He is almost always seen in suits, but in the cases he isn't he tends to dress in a rather posh manner. He does seem to like outfits that accentuate his form.
His most common outfit is red suit tailored to hug his form. His top jacket buttons by four gold buttons with the left half over the right. The edges of the jacket are lined in white except for the sleeves. The collar is folded over to the outside a bit and made of two distinct parts. Under the jacket is a very frilly white silk shirt with the collar tied shut with a black silk ribbon tied in a loose bow. The frills are most obvious at his wrists and where neck. His pants are tailored in the way his top is and of the same red as his jacket.
Pegasus' shoes in this outfit are polished white leather dress boots. They haev black soles and a very slight bit of heel.
Weapons
Pegasus doesn't keep any weapons on him in the traditional sense of the word. However, he does possess a deck of Duel Monsters cards containing a fair number of cards not released to the general public in his homeworld. As with all the other people from his homeworld, the Island has caused the cards to manifest the monster spirits known as Ka back in Ancient Egypt. His signature monster is Dark Rabbit, but his true signature involves using any of his monster cards in conjunction with Toon World. Of special note is that this makes his Ka invincible unless some method is used to deal with the spell.
Abilities/Powers
Pegasus has the ability to summon Ka from his cards and utilize the power of his Ba to cast the spells and and traps. Very interestingly is his native power with this ability, once he discovers it, is he can use the Toon World spell and modify it with various pages, all without direct access to the cards. This makes him a very formidabble opponent given the invincibility granted by Toon World.
He is able to safely use the Millenium Eye, and it is the first person of the modern world the Item accepted. He matches some of the current accepted owners in that his connection is not due to a direct connection to Ancient Egypt. Unlike the other accepted bearer of the Item, Pegasus is willing to put it in an eye socket, but the reason he is missing an eye is due to it in the first place (see History).
Skills
Pegasus is very skilled in business relations both over and under the table. He is also skilled at manipulations and things such as blackmail. He is well travelled and has quite a bit of "cultured" knowledge as well. He can out do most people on things such as wine and various fineries. He's very creative and is extremely skilled at painting, having done the original artwork for the god cards himself as well as being responsible for the base artwork on many Duel Monsters cards. Of no relation to his other skills is ability as a Funny Rabbit (basically his world's version of Bug Bunny) expert.
He is also extremely talented at Duel Monsters, and was responsible for many of the early rules and helped with later rule adjustments.
Personality
To most, Pegasus seems like a mildly creepy (at best) fop. He has been frequently accused of being homosexual, and there are those that have thrown claims of pedophila at him as well. He is neither, but he plays to the misconceptions and within minutes is able to make most people not take him seriously. He tends to come across as rather flighty and effiminate as well.
This is all because the man is extremely clever and manipulative. He is in fact a very smart and very dangerous individual who rarely has issues with bending people to his will via manipulation. He is shrewd and aware of most everything that goes on around him, making detailed and calculated plans every step of the way. He is not evil, per se, but more that he does what he feels at the time and feels any end justifies any means.
History
Pegasus was born to a very rich and affluent family, starting his life with a silver spoon in the mouth. He was raised as very much the aristocrat. When he was a child, he was introduced to the woman his parents planned on arranging his marriage too, a girl by the name of Cyndia. They actually hit it off rather well, and they began to spend a lot of time together. It was his love for her that taught him how to paint. However, she became ill and died at seventeen.
His reason overcome by grief, he began to search for a way to revive the dead. It became an obsession and he drifted away from his family. He found his way to Egypt and began to research legends of the afterlife. This research lead him to a place where a ritual seemed to be taking place, and a mysterious Egyptian man forced the Millenium Eye upon him by crushing it into his left eye socket. His eye was destroyed, but the Millenium Item had a new owner as a result. He caught a brief glimpse of Cyndia, and it drove him to research what he had come to research even further, his desire to see his love again becoming tainted by the inherent darkness of the Millenium Eye.
He was fairly quick to discover that he could read minds with the Eye, and he used it to further his goals. He eventually would create Duel Monsters with the fortune he had inherited at eighteen from the stone tablets in Egypt. Another trip informed him of legendarily strong Ka known as the "three phantom gods", which sparked him to create what would become known as the god cards. When everyone he hired to work on them began to die, he eventually took charge of the situation himself. The god cards reacted with wrath, and the man who had forced they eye upon him appeared and told him he had to return the cards to their origin. With his pre-existing terror of the man that had cost him his eye and the visions being forced upon him by his work of the cards, he complied.
Later on he would be approached by the young head of KaibaCorp, a teenager named Seto Kaiba. The teenager was apparently working on a system for a tournament called "Death-T" and he had seen the potential marketing power of it. Pegasus made a deal with him, allowing Kaiba to introduce the system in Death-T if he would be allowed to make improvements upon it. The contracts were signed just before the tournament that would send Kaiba into a coma after losing to the teenager known as Yuugi Mutou. This would prove a devastating blow to KaibaCorp.
Pegasus contacted the five major stockholders of KaibaCorp after the incident and said he wanted to buy the company out. Seto was in a coma, after all. They said they would be willing to give him the stocks to take over if he could restore the company's reputation by defeating the teenager that had defeated Kaiba. However, Mokuba was rather unwilling to cooperate with the "Big Five". Pegasus agreed to force Mokuba to give up the information they needed as well as defeat this Yuugi Mutou. To that end, he set up the Duelist Kingdom tournament and then kidnapped Kaiba's brother Mokuba. To force Yuugi's participation, he set up a no-win situation that ended with the sealing of the soul of Yuugi's grandfather via another power of the Millenium Eye. It was during this general timeframe he got into contact with a teenager named Ryuuji Otogi, who had ideas for a spin off of Duel Monsters known as Dungeon Dice Monsters.
During a duel early in Duelist Kingdom, the misuse of Kaiba's deck lead to the latent power of a Ka granted him in his past life and the power of his own will combined to bring him out of his coma. He managed to work his way into Pegasus' castle and Pegasus granted his demand for a Duel. Kaiba lost due to the power of Pegaus' Millenium Eye, and had his soul sealed within a blank Duel Monsters cards. Eventually he would be defeated by Yuugi and his other self when they figured out a way to outsmart Pegasus' mindreading ability. It didn't end there, however.
After he lost to Yuugi, he seemed to flee. In truth he was going to a sanctuary to Cyndia he had set up. There he was confronted by a white haired boy who eventually attacked him and tore the Millenium Eye out of his skull. The damage and blood loss severely injured Pegasus, and he was taken away from Duelist Kingdom by some of his staff where he spent some time recovering in the hospital. He was forced to cancel his in progres business relations, and as such the plans for Dungeon Dice Monsters were dropped.
About six months later he had recovered and was back to working with Ryuuji, eventually causing a limited release of Dungeon Dice Monsers. Ryuuji moved to California to further facilitate the business relations. At some point the man began to learn information about the Dooma organization and their manipulations of history from the shadows for thousands of years. He realized that the organization may soon be targeting Industrial Illusions' partner, KaibaCorp, and managed to prepare a warning and methods to fight before his soul was trapped by Mai Kujaku under the control of the overall organization.
After Dooma collapsed, Pegasus went back to work. A few days before a scheduled meeting with Sigfried von Schroider and his little brother he received word that Mokuba was raising a stink in the Egyptian branch due to the disappearance of both Seto and Yuugi's group. He informed his office to inform the Schroider brothers that they would have to reschedule the meeting and he took a trip to Egypt. When he arrived he would find out that Mokuba had quite simply vanished into thin air.
Those there were reasonably panicked. Sugoroku was more frazzled then anyone there could ever recall. When money came up as a potential issue, Pegasus offered to fly Yuugi's parents there. After quite a bit of chaos, Pegasus chose to work with Sugoroku and his near fluent understanding of Ancient Egyptian to see if they could figure out the issue. Eventually, Ishizu took the group to the place where the group had been supposed to go.
The decision was made to sleep on the yacht the Ishtars had prepared for the Nameless Pharaoh's journey before they ventured into the cave with the lock. However, in the night Pegasus awoke to the sound of Cyndia's voice begging him for help. She spoke of details only she and her would know, and it was enough to draw him off the boat in a sort of hypnosis. The glimpses of Cyndia lead him into the area with the tablet, where a door stood cracked. She lead him towards it like a siren would lure a ship... before grabbing him and throwing him into the open portal. He'd wake up in a strange place and a horrid and incomplete misunderstanding of what had occurred and no idea that a demon of the subconscious had attempted to take his life.
Other
I used a blended canon, please see the OOC boards for the full details. However, the majority is anime (probably very obvious to fans of the manga or both versions, given Pegasus being ALIVE.) The major manga influence ends when Kaiba comes out of his coma.
