Full Name: Carolina Leu Turner
Nicknames: Carol
Age: 21
Height: 4'11''
Weight: 123.5 pounds
Gender: Female
Race: Scyther
Alliance: True Neutral
Home: National Park, Johto region
Franchise: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
Physical Description: Carol is of normal size for a member of her species, and is distinguished as a female by her larger abdomen. Her head "fur" spikes up a bit, somehow causing people to think she's a guy. Her entire body has what appear to be paint stains in random places, and in fact, they are paint stains. She wears a light gray bandana tied around her neck, and underneath it, worn on her by means of a black piece of string, is what is known as an "Evolution Stone". It slightly increases her ability to take hits, and if any unevolved Pokemon should get their hands on it, they will experience this same boosts.
Weapons: Her arm blades.
Abilities/Powers: Her attacks;
*Vacuum Wave- Releasing a quick burst of vacuum energy to attack.
*Slash- A cutting attack that has an increased chance of scoring a critical hit.
*Aerial Ace- A very quick aerial attack that rarely misses.
*Pursuit- An attack that inflects more damage on a fleeing foe.
*Bug Opposition- An attack involving the sudden release of energy, it also can lower the opponent's special defense. (still working on this)
*Brick Break- An attack that can also break down most barriers.
Carol knows the way around some attacks. More specifically, it causes her weaker moves to increase in power, hitting one and a half times harder than usual. In her case, Vacuum Wave, Aerial Ace, Pursuit and Bug Opposition are boosted. This is how her "Technician" ability manifests itself.
Skills: Carol, while not to the extent of Hades, likes to pull practical jokes. They tend to involve paint, and she seems to have the ability to find them wherever she goes. Speaking of paint, Carol seems to be able to use them in spite of lacking hands.
And while we're on that subject, Carol has also devised several ways do preform day-to-day tasks in spite of now having hands. Usually, she'll use her mouth for such tasks.
Personality: Carol's usually a laid-back type that causes many people to think she's lazy or something. Snoozing when she's not needed is not unheard of, or even occasionally when she's needed. I quote, "You never know when you'll need a li'l bit of beauty sleep."
However, in spite of this so-called lazy nature, Carol can also go to extremes. This is usually revenge for something that someone's done to her, or anger. It includes but is not limited to stalking a group of Pokemon just to get one of them or going at someone just because they woke her up.
Amazingly, Carol is actually very mature in spite of her practical jokes, perhaps her feeling the need to act as a role model or Hades, whom she keeps muttering something about a "supposedly used TM 64" about.
History: Carol was born in the National Park to a pair of Scyther, and grew up with more than a little bit of resentment. You see, she was bred in order to be caught in contests by little kids, and she wasn't too fond of it. To get her revenge at what fate had placed on her, Carol became a troublemaker.
As for the hell she stirred up, it ranged from the mundane (like slicing through a guy's lunch), to the downright intolerable (like stealing paint from park workers and using it to vandalize the park later on), to the downright bizarre (like the one time she merely stole everyone's bags and placed them in a circle around the fountain). The park rangers identified her, and placed a reward on her head.
Carol eluded them, and no trainer ever got the reward for catching her. This was mainly because of a strange group of Pokemon suddenly appearing, and an orange Gastly pulling pranks on her. She tried time and time again to catch the little scamp, and failed to get him every time. She clearly remembered one, when she was seventeen. She was chasing him through the park, when suddenly a large vat of mixed paint was dumped on her. She later tried to wash this paint off her, and while most of it came off, some of it stuck to her. Wanting revenge, she trailed the group when they left.
The group eventually settled down near the Lake of Rage after a few days. Carol waited for nightfall, and then attacked the orange Gastly- or at least, tried to. The rest of the group had woken up, and declared that if they wanted to hurt him, she'd have to hurt them all. Carol knew she was beat, and surrendered. The group's leader, which was a greenish Chikorita named Leafslash (who changed colors, as she noted later), shocked them all when he asked her to stay. The rest of the group- the orange Gastly named Pepsci, the dwarf Spearow named Hawk, the albino Gyarados named Flip and the brownish Vulpix named Violet- was shocked, and Carol was, too! Nonetheless, she took the offer.
Carol suddenly awoke to a Thunder attack crashing down, and to a shocked Leafslash. He explained that they had to run away, and to change their names for safety. Pepsci, now eight, was now Hades; Flip, now fifteen, became Poseidon; Hawk, now fourteen, was now Hermes; Carol refused to change her name because he had not been seen; and Leafslash became Apollo. Violet, who was ten at the time, changed her name to Aries.
After two years of running around, the team settled down in the Hoenn region, close to the sea. On this long journey, Apollo had evolved into a Bayleef, and Hades into a Haunter. Just as they were settled down and built a base, they noticed a Manectric appear before them, this one looking almost black and white, and quite muscular. Expecting another attack, they made a preemptive strike on him. After a series of "yeows", he eventually said he came in peace, and that he was named Zeus. He offered himself to the team. Apollo realized that this had to be the one that saved him from the Skarmory two years ago, and telling the team that he was a friend, accepted Zeus onto the team.
It was a cold winter night, when the team was bundled up together for warmth in their base, when there was a massive earthquake. The ground below them started to sink into portals, and one by one, all seven of them were swallowed up, and spit out onto the Dimensional Island.
Other: The Island's auto-translate feature works on her.
I'm using a bit of new Black/White stuff, but as for attacks, she's still working on them, so she won't be as effective in using them. (names will change when Black/White are in the US)
