Full Name: Kenneth Kou
Nicknames: Ken
Age: 25
Height: 5'9"
Weight: ? (Lean)
Gender: Male
Alliance: Lawful Neutral
Home: Dimension Island (Formerly Tokyo, Japan)
Franchise: Unspecified Original Character
Physical Description
Ken has short cut dark brown hair, although it is a little lighter at the tips. He combs his hair straight back, and the shortest parts of the front are just long enough to tuck behind his ears. He has dark green bordering on black eyes. Overall, his face speaks only slightly of his mixed American and Japanese ethnicity. His skin tone is that of a pale oriental, and most wouuld call him white, although he self identifies as Asian ethnicity.
He has very tiny glasses with black metal frames. The temples are silver. The glasses are of the sort that have no frames over the top of the lens'. They rest near the tip of his nose, and give him a rather attractive appearance with his usual friendly smile. It should be noted that he only needs them for mild correction and reading, and can see rather well (although not perfect) without them.
Ken dresses very sharp, whether he is on or off work. He wears navy blue suits with light-grey blue shirts. His shoes are black and polished and his tie is also black. While off the job what he wears depends on the weather. In summer he'll wear pressed long-sleeved button shirts, pressed pants, and understated belts. He does tend to keep with polished shoes. In winter he tends to go for turtlenecks and more durable pants material.
Abilities/Powers
None, he's a normal human.
Skills
Ken is a lawyer, and has all the skills one would expect from that. He's both good at using the law correctly and incorrectly, and rather skilled at reading when he should shift. There are a lot of people that won't hire the man who hasn't been out of Law School for a full six months, but it is their loss.
The man is also pretty knowledgable on wine and has an eye for workmanship and quality in man made objects.
He speaks fluent English and Japanese, and will often use one or the other to prevent eavesdroppers.
Personality
Ken has two faces, and unlike a lot of characters his true face is actually the nicer one. While he's extremely cultured and dresses in a manner that shows he does quite well money wise, he's a friendly and talkative individual. He is easy to talk to and gives fair advice, and a lot of people find him simply charming. He does much better talking to men then he does women, and he's a lost cause around kids. They have to be in at leas their mid teens, and he does better if they're adults - It's related to attitude not appearance, but even that has a point.
His other face is extremely business-like, and it's this face he wears during all meetings. He won't be cowed or intimidated, and he's far more skilled at his profession than most people tend to quickly assume. When he agrees to something, he'll do it come hell or high water. He's also not the world's most moral individual, but that doesn't mean he's "evil"... but he also won't turn away a client for moral issues as long as they can pay.
History
Ken's father was a Japanese man, and his mother was an American woman of mostly European descent. While Ken was conceived during a business trip, his father ended up moving in and running a business out of his home when young Kenneth was about three. So he doesn't remember a time without his father. Both of his parents were of rather proper standing, and while it took a hit due to the questionable engagement, he was a somewhat standard "rich kid" by the age of six. He attended both junior high and high school in private boarding schools, and got into Yale Law School when he graduated from the latter.
He went through college at the normal pace, and graduated with just above average grades. Some would say it was cause he didn't try hard enough, but he would have never been on the Dean's List. It was actually a month after his graduation ceremony when he got pulled through the portal to Dimension Island. It took him four months to get situatiated, and then no one seemed interested in hiring him. This changed when a Japanese teenager of all things contacted him.
He's been working as a lawyer for the rather newly founded Dimension Island KaibaCorp for about a week and a half now, and things have been moving very fast in part due to his influence.
Other
Kaiba has a lawyer~~~. Partially made to clash with one of FF's characters, and given he's tied to KaibaCorp probably won't be seeing other plots.
