Full Name (Human): Keiichi Kimura (木村 圭一)
True Name/Title: Abel (アベル), Messiah of the New Heavenly Kingdom
Nicknames: K1 (pronounced as “Kei-One”, only used by friends who knew him before he became the Messiah)
Physical Age: 17
Chronological Age: Unknown due to immortality
Height: n/a
Weight: n/a
Gender: Male
Race: Bel
Alliance: Lawful Good
Home: Heaven
Franchise: Devil Survivor (Amane route)
Physical Description: In terms of a human form, Abel’s is fairly unremarkable. It is of average height and average weight, with a slim build that belies his true strength. His hair is blue, and is well kept at all times. His hair is kept trimmed so that it remains at the same length it was during the Lockdown. His eyes are the same blue color as his hair. Even in human form, something seems oddly… off about Abel’s eyes. Most significantly, they lack the kind of light shine that a normal human’s eyes would have, and the effect is more akin to that of a dead body. Despite the many battles he has been in, he lacks any significant scars due to his accelerated healing abilities.
Abel’s demon form is not very drastically different from his human form, and the main change is a gain of markings and horns. When in this form, much of his body is covered with soft blue markings that appear to be stylized Hebrew. Protruding from his head are two white colored horns, which extend out about nine inches or so from Abel’s head. His eyes, however, remain the same as they would be in his human form.
His clothing is the same across forms. While he prefers more casual clothing endemic to the 21st century, when he is alone, he is often seen in a white and gold regal outfit. Worn over the robe is a white cape woven by Amane many years ago. Abel has a tendency to wear this same cape over his casual clothing even when he is not acting as the Messiah. In his human form exclusively, he can be seen often wearing a pair of strange headphones; a relic of the age from before Abel brought utopia to the human realm. The headphones have a wire piece on them that slightly resembles a demon’s horns. Upon closer inspection, one would discover that it’s not actually a wire, though at one point it likely was. It’s actually a piece of metal bent so that it would resemble the shape of the original wire.
Weapons: Abel does not require weapons, but he does carry a sword granted to him by YHVH, mainly for showing his authority.
Abilities/Powers: As the King of Bel, Abel had been granted power that could challenge YHVH’s own. However, because he surrendered himself over to YHVH and became His messiah, Abel’s powers have been limited. He remains much stronger and faster than even most demons, but how much of his power he can use at once depends on how much YHVH decides to loosen his grip on Abel. He also has control over the summoning server Babel, but he is only able to summon Angels via it freely. He can also control whether a COMP can access the server or not, but he has locks on the server that prevent anything other than beings allied with Heaven to be summoned.
Magic-wise, Abel tends to prefer Almighty spells and healing spells, with a larger focus on the latter than the former. He is also capable of using two unique spells: Expulsion From Paradise, a Light elemental instant-kill spell; and Cherubim Blade, a defense spell that forms a ring of flaming blades that prevent elemental spells from hitting and reflect Almighty spells.
He is naturally immune to any kind of dark or light elemental spell, and instant-kill spells will not work against him.
Skills: As a human, K1 was a fairly good cook, but since he very rarely has to cook for himself, he has grown out of touch with this ability. He is also capable of speaking several languages, and uses this ability to control the humans in his utopia in much the same way the first separation of languages did: by keeping them from being able to communicate. He’s also naturally capable of speaking the infernal tongue, but has not had the need to do so as of late.
Personality: Abel holds a degree of compassion toward all humans, one that is one of the few things that keep him from being completely inhuman. He believes in swift justice and that all sins must be punished, especially if that sin is challenging the glorious Kingdom of God he has created. He lives his life based upon how YHVH wishes him to live, and he follows only YHVH’s orders. However, he is somewhat naïve, not even thinking to challenge the orders he is given.
History: Abel’s history begins before he was born. Two powerful beings, one known as Bel and the other known as YHVH, got into a battle, and YHVH won. YHVH killed Bel and the fragments of Bel turned into shooting stars, one of which YHVH specially directed toward a woman named Eve, who YHVH had created from the rib of another man, Adam. The fragment of Bel merged with her unborn son, and YHVH informed Eve to name the boy Abel when he was born. The boy was born human, but in truth it was just a false shell that YHVH had cursed upon him. The boy grew up to be a herdsman while his brother, Cain, became a farmer. When it came time to give YHVH sacrifices, YHVH always preferred Abel’s sacrificed sheep over Cain’s crops. This led Cain to murder Abel. YHVH then spread Abel’s essence among humanity, allowing Abel to live on and YHVH’s own plans to continue.
Abel reincarnated many times across humanity, and in time his essence became spread enough that all that was left was a potential to be an Abel in many humans. One of the humans who were born with this potential was Keiichi Kimura. His birth mother was actually pregnant with twins and due to many circumstances, he was separated from his twin brother, but this fact is not important in this dimension due to how events played out. It was around the time that he was three that Keiichi’s cousin, Naoya, came to live with them. Keiichi did not know this, but Naoya was actually the reincarnation of Cain and Keiichi was part of his plans to wage war against YHVH.
When Keiichi was 17, the Tokyo Lockdown began. Though the public was told it was because of poisonous gas, it was actually because of a demon outbreak within the city. Events lead Keiichi having to kill a demon named Beldr, and he absorbed Beldr’s essence into himself. He was soon informed of the ongoing war for the Throne of Bel, and how he’d involved himself by absorbing Beldr. It was not long after this that Keiichi was approached by both Naoya and Amane, the former wanting him to wage war against God, and the latter wanting him to become the Messiah. Both options required him to become the King of Bel. Despite all of Naoya’s grooming, Keiichi went with Amane. This did not go well with Naoya, and Keiichi was confronted by Naoya, who had seemingly gone mad, shortly after defeating Belberith. It was through this encounter that Keiichi learned of Naoya’s true nature (Keiichi had learned of his own nature as Abel the morning of that day through an angel named Remiel). Despite this, Keiichi told Naoya he didn’t hate him, which only seemed to send him into a greater rage. Naoya eventually retreated, leaving Keiichi to do the final step to become the Messiah: take control of Babel. He managed to do so, and at that instant, Keiichi was lost to Abel. Abel then gave up his throne in order to become the Messiah, and assumed rule over mankind. He very soon began work creating his utopia, and the world entered a period of peace where he held justice over all. All who dissented were dealt with either by his hand personally or by his own personal forces, all by the will of God.
It was only about four months after Abel became Messiah that he lost his human shell and assumed his true demon form. There was little pain involved in the matter, and this new form only helped to control his world better. It was not long after he gained this form that Naoya (or Cain, as he preferred to think of himself) was found. Though it pained Abel to do so, he executed the man.
Many years passed, and Abel continued to rule with the support of YHVH. His human allies (and former friends, in Yuzu and Atsuro’s cases) eventually passed away from old age, but that was to be expected, since they lacked the power Abel did. Every few decades or so, an uprising would spring up, and Abel would have to be the one to stamp it down. Abel was unsurprised to find that Cain was behind many of them. Every time, he would execute the man once more. Something different happened with the man’s latest incarnation, however. The man somehow was catapulted to another dimension. At YHVH’s order, Abel followed him through dimensions, unknown to the fact that a version of him that had taken Cain’s path resided in the dimension he was travelling to…
Other: AU Canon of the character Abel. Really, though, he’s just Abel from a different route in Devil Survivor. He’s pretty fucking overpowered, but it’s highly unlikely he’ll be used for anything but plot related RPs.

Really only listed for completion’s sake, as by this point, Abel’s so different in appearance from his canon self it’s not even funny.
