Full Name: Lunessa Gearspinner
Nicknames: Luna, Pyro
Age: Though she's a Gnome of 27 years, she's lithe enough to look like a 12-year-old human.
Height: 2'8
Weight: 55lbs
Gender: Female
Race: Gnome
Alliance: Chaotic Good
Home: Tinker Town, Dun Morgh
Franchise: World of Warcraft
Physical Description: As a Gnome, Lunessa is of course small enough to look like a child. Combined with the youth in her face and the way she styles her bubble-gum pink hair into pigtails that are probably supposed to up the cutesiness, she could very well be a pedobear's wet dream. However, the cold look in her emerald colored eyes and the way she carries herself betrays her age if nothing else does. As a Mage, she can only wear cloth garments. When out on the field, she tends to wear garments made of Emberweave and dons the cloak and tabard of Gnomeregan. However, sometimes she is in the metallic walls of her machinery. In these cases, she can be worn wearing an Embroidered Cloth outfit along with some goggles she fashioned for herself. The goggles glow purple and look like almost like a scientist's safety goggles.
Weapons: Apart from usual Mages, who only weild staves that help them channel their power and wands to shoot balls of different magical energies at their enemies, Lunessa as a Gnomish engineer can call upon a Gyrocopter at will and fly through the skies. The Gryocopter has machineguns mounted onto the sides of the wings and has a bottom compartment that drops bombs. Needless to say this was used in the final encounter against the Lich King and his frost wyrms. She also has some kind of engineered motocycle that shoots lazers out of the front. Yes, Gnomes and Goblins are more technologically advanced then they should be, but then again World of Warcraft also follows an Ancient Technology Is Better trope by introducing the Titans and their kickass tech, so...
Abilities/Powers: As before, a Mage's powers and their branches are rather self explanatory. The three branches a Mage can follow are Arcane, Fire, and Frost. Arcane Mages study more in their arcane magics, utilizing the arcane as a weapon to fire magical bolts of energy. They can also polymorph their foes, teleport at will, and conjure up food. Fire and Frost Mages are self-evident enough. Fire Mages learn how to better burn things with fire magic. Frost Mages learn how to better freeze things with frost magic. Only thing is Frost Mages can also conjure a Water Elemental familiar. For some reason, Fire Mages don't get a kickass Fire Elemental familiar, but instead have to deal with just burning things on their own. Lunessa, being the pyromaniac she is, is a Fire Mage at heart. She isn't even duel specced, she just likes to watch things burn... enemies anyway.
Skills: Because every adventurer must know how to cook, make bandages, and fish, as well as excavate ancient ruins and fashion artifacts nowadays, let's just skip to the two main professions. Luna, despite her size, is a skilled miner. She mines and smelts ore because she is also an engineer, as most Gnomes turn out to be. Her innovative mind has given way to plenty of new inventions, such as her weaponized vehicles, which some Gnomes didn't think possible without the use of Goblin technology.
Personality: Lunessa is battle-hardened, henceforth she acts the part. As a Mage, however, she's a scholar before a soldier. She's always curious about the world around her and seeks to uncover the secrets to life. Sadly, like most of the people coming home from Northrend, she got a little touched in the head due to all that time fighting in the cold. Though she's not a total psychopath, she has turned into more of a pyromaniac then she ever thought she could. She couldn't even bring herself to be appalled at the burning of Mount Hyjal, there was too much pretty fire to worry about it. She has no true care about the philosophies of the Light, which can be worrisome as lots of people in the Alliance technically worship it. She's cold, hard, and logical about her reasoning... except with fire. She loves fire a lot. But other then that, she's mostly normal for someone who's seen war. As a Gnome, she is of course innovative and desires to create, hence why she became an engineer.
History: Lunessa was but one of the Gnomes forced to evacuate Gnomeregan when their continued expansion of the technological city unleashed a devestating amount of Troggs. A radiation bomb was unleashed at the behest of Mekgineer Sicco Thermaplugg, but this was a ruse to make the current leader of the Gnomes, High Tinkerer Gelbin Mekkatorque, look like a villain when more Gnomes died and the troggs were mostly unaffected. Thermaplugg now resides in Gnomeregan with irradiated Gnome and Trogg servents. However, those that made it out were allowed into the Dwarven city of Ironforge, still having been led by King Magni Bronzebeard back then. It was during those times that Lunessa was trained in the arcane arts as a Mage by her fellow Gnome survivors in order to benefit Ironforge and, in the same process, bring glory to the Alliance. As she grew stronger, she was able to handle more threats and, of course, fought often against the Horde in order to push their expansions back.
When the portal to Draenor, otherwise known as Outland, opened up, Lunessa was one of the first to go. She was teamed with two humans, a Priestess named Lyricalla and a Paladin named Jacqueli, both at odds with each other due to differring spiritual beliefs. Acting as the Only Sane Man of the group, the three conquered Draenor together and brought further glory to the Alliance. In a combination of Alliance and Horde, the betrayer, Illidan Stormrage, was defeated. And then the Blood Elves of Quel'Thalas found the remains of their corrupted Sunwell and Lunessa, with her allies, went there to fight as well. Once again, with the Alliance's and Horde's combined forces, justice won. The traitorous Blood Elf prince, Kael'Thas Sunstrider, was executed for his crimes, his demonic master, Kil'Jaedan, banished back into the nether.
Peace reigned for a short while until Northrend came. Once again the trio found themselves fighting together, this time in the frozen north. And the cold was so staggering that Luna found her love of fire there. Though the Alliance and the Horde fought together for a while, their peace was shattered by the betrayal of the Forsaken, or so the Alliance was led to believe. Infuriated, Luna joined the assault on the Undercity with King Varian Wyrnn and her allies. They killed the High Apothecary there and Luna thought they had a chance of retaking Lordaeron from Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner. But before anything could happen, Theramore's mistress and great scholar, Jaina Proudmore, intervened and forcefully transported the Alliance back to their lands. Naturally from there, full on war was declared and the Alliance and the Horde only had peace linked by a single thread. This was enough to guarantee them victory against the Lich King.
After the incident in Northrend, High Tinkerer Mekkatorque decided to launch a full on raid on Gnomeregan. With various races of the Alliance aiding, the Gnomes rushed into their city and began to fight to reclaim it. However, Thermaplug had a trick up his sleeve, a bomb that only filled the city with more radiation. Forced to wait, the Gnomes began to develop armor to resist the radiation. And then Deathwing came and the Cataclysm shook the world. To stop Ironforge from collapsing, Magni Bronzebeard sacrificed himself and turned into a diamond base for Ironforge to rest upon. Taking his place was his brother, Muradin Bronzebeard. But Moira Thaurrisan, widow to former Emperor Dagran Thaurrisan, felt she should be queen until her son, Fenran, grew up to be Ironforge's king. Then there was the matter of the Wildhammer dwarves and their shaman coming in. As a compromise, Muradin formed the Council of Three, for each leader to represent their clan. Muradin would represent the Bronzebeard clan, Moira would represent her Dark Iron clan, and Fandrel Staghammer would represent the Wildhammer clan.
Due to this new political upheaval, the Gnomes were evicted from Ironforge. Coincidentally, they were ready to try and retake Gnomeregan once more. Luna once again joined in the second raid. This time the Gnomes managed to take Gnomeregan's surface and built a makeshift town, Tinker Town, from it. However, the raid leading into it has been currently unsuccessful as more and more troggs just keep coming each and every day. Meanwhile, more seasoned adventurers like Luna were getting deported to the new lands opened by the Cataclysm, such as Vash'jir or Deepholm, in order to help fix the world of Azeroth. Thus Luna has had to further herself each and every day as well as deal with her unprecedented new love for fire.
