Physical Description: A somewhat lanky boy with spiky dirty-blond hair and blue-green eyes. Wears either dark jeans or tan shorts; wears a V-necked T-shirt, usually neutral colors like brown or gray.
Weapons: Danmaku and an average-length sword.
Abilities/Powers: Flight, magic. Developed manipulation of sound while in Gensokyo. "Sync" (more on that later) Twin Danmaku pistols based off of the M1911 model named Love and Tolerance jokingly by him (created through spellcards). Love is azure blue with a Rainbow top and Tolerance is blue with a light blue barrel. Both pistols have the cutiemarks of the ponies their colors are based off (Rainbow and Soarin', respectively) on their grips.
Skills: Decent cook, good musician. Plays the viola.
Personality: Phlegmatic-Sanguine. Can come across as uninvolved or cold, but warms up to people quickly. Can also come across as something of a fanboy, but that's to be expected; he actually gets to meet people he formerly thought fictional.
History: As an average eighteen-year-old teenager, Michael didn't really have many plans for his future. He liked music, but didn't have much else. The only things that he really liked were his games. He was a self-admitted Otaku who loved a challenge. His big adventure started not long after he discovered the Touhou Project games.
Roughly a day or so afterward, he was abducted by Yukari into Gensokyo. The reason? When he finally met her and asked, her response was "Just because." He arrived a week or so before the Scarlet Mist Incident. During that week, he got to know the resident Shrine Maiden, Reimu, and the klepto witch, Marisa. They trained him in the basics of Danmaku battle.
He didn't join them when they went off to fight Remilia, instead choosing to train more. It paid off; while he was not very athletic prior to coming to Gensokyo, he was battle-ready enough to fight during the Perfect Cherry Blossom incident. He helped fight against Yuyuko, and fought against Yukari (he got completely whupped). He met newshound Aya Shameimaru not long after that and became friends. He and Aya teamed up to fight Kaguya, taking on Reimu along the way. He also later got a sword from Youmu and has started to train with it (he's not very good right now).
Time passed, Byakuren got smacked down, and Michael was approached by Yukari. She had a mission for him; the dimensions were becoming more unstable around the Dimensional Island, and she felt that the need was great enough that she should send somebody. Reimu couldn't go because of the Border, so she decided to ask Michael. Michael agreed, on the condition that he could take someone with him. He asked Alice at first (she was the first one he found) but she refused. Michael then asked Marisa, and Marisa was happy to help. Marisa then asked Alice (she agreed) and the three of them were sent.
At a later time, after a stay in Dimensional Island, they returned, alongside Sanae, to meet up with Reimu and deal with a new Incident, the Ten Desires incident.
Other: Because of Michael's magical affinity (Neutral, meaning he could use any element) he can "Sync" with the various residents of Gensokyo and use some of their spellcards. It is incredibly draining, and the effectiveness is affected by how synced he is with them.
