Full Name: Chisaki Nekoi
Nicknames: Chi
Age: 24 (April 30)
Height: 164 cm/~5'4"
Weight: 65 kg/~144lbs
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alliance: Neutral (with Chaos leans)
Home: Void City, Dimension Island (Originally S-Prefecture, Japan)
Franchise: Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (Onisarashi-hen) Original Character
Physical Description
Chisaki is Japanese in nationality and ethnicity, and it shows in her appearance. She has a slight tan and stands with a fairly average height for her ethnicity. Her figure is lean; she's slim but has slight noticable muscles. Her eyes are dark red, but lighting can make them lean more towards hazel.
Her dark pink hair comes down to the base of her neck, and is tapered despite its somewhat hacked look. It's got a stringy texture to it and looks barely combed. Her bangs rise up a bit and frame her face.
She doesn't have a standard outfit including her police uniform - she isn't often seen in it. Her usual style includes tight jeans, t-shirts, and hoodless light jackets. Her jeans are never faded, and her usual color scheme is dark.
Over her chest, at a slight diagonal but mostly on the right side, is a wide and long scar that comes up just below the insde edge of her right breast and dips just past her hipline. She seems to be selfconscious about it and makes efforts to not let people see it.
Weapons
Chisaki wears a concealed pistol under her usual jacket and a can of pepper spray clipped to her jeans. The latter is unrelated to her job.
Abilities/Powers
Chisaki is technically dead - her soul is tied to her body by artificial means. Those that can sense such things can sense a chain tying her soul to her body put there by supernatural means. While it is technically manipulatable by all that could do such things, the chain does have a safeguard of sorts relating to it and the being that placed it there and it won't respond to anyone that isn't "approved" by its creator, the "dark angel" Lucifer. - It will, however, alert Chisaki that someone is attempting to mess with it.
Skills
Chisaki is rather observant and a crack shot. In contrast, she's somewhat weak in hand to hand combat. She's got better skill than most at pattern recognition and has some mild psychology knowledge. She's also pretty damn intimidating.
Personality
At the end of the day, Chisaki is a coward. She talks big and has managed to intimdate most of the people with frequent contact with her, but she'd shoot a friend in the back if she thought it would keep her safe. She's stubborn and has a bad mouth on her, and her temper is short. She doesn't like nonsense, and sees a lot as nonsense. She's fairly skeptical, but also a little jittery about anything supernatural. She doesn't work well with others.
History
Chisaki was born fourth and last among her siblings, and a lot of her personality growing up was a result of having three older brothers. She was a hardcore tomboy her entire childhood, upright skipping boku as her pronoun and going straight to ore. She became a police officer when she was 21, and a year later her life took a turn for the worse.
Her brother had gone to visit his fiance in another town. Her family had gone with him, she'd had to stay back for work. A week later, her family ended up dead. Her brother's fiance and her elderly father were the ones chiefly responsible. Another case of an old person going insane after the Hinamizawa incident. They had died as well.
When no one blamed the family because it was simply another case of the syndrome, Chisaki went into overdrive to investigate the Hinamizawa fall out. The government refused to let her into the area due to the dangers of the gas-like miasma. She began to look at other methods. She'd never get very far, though. Dimensional ripples effecting multiple linked Japans brought her to the Island, where she ended up at a station manned by people from other Japans linked to the Hinamizawa tragedy. That was there, though, and Chisaki continued life as such.
When Detective Takahashi pulled strings to get a detective named Adachi onto the station's roster, she more or less ignored it. The man was practically Yamada's clone, but whatever. When a kid managed to beat Adachi within an inch of his life after he shot his girlfriend, she was the one assigned to interview him. Takahashi was on forced vacation because he'd been babbling about Adachi trying to kill him.
Adachi tried to rape her, and when she hit him with a groin shot, used his "Persona" (basically a god or demon one can summon from their psyche) to kill her. It drove its spear through her chest. A blond teenager manifested in the room and chastised Adachi (and the dark side of a god known as Izanagi) for their combined stupidity and ended up offering Chisaki a deal. She could die, or she could contract with him and he'd save her life. All she'd have to do is whatever he said from that point on. In a moment of her true nature of cowardice, and more than a bit of panic, she accepted.
She tried to forget the situation and went back to work, having to cover up what she'd learned about Adachi as well as his attempted rape of her. It made her sick to her stomach, really. From that point on she was (justifiably) skittish around Adachi and her mood took a nosedive south, forcing the station to relegate her to evidence just so people wouldn't have to deal with her.
She was cornered one day by a powerful demon known only to her as "Naoki Kashima" due to her handling of the situation with Lucifer - trying to pretend it never happened. He left after making his threat and tugging on her soul, and she came this close to informing Takahashi of Adachi's attempted rape. The man made a suspiciously timed return to the room before she could get it out though, and she's returned to her usual job with a more acknowledging nature of her position in regards to Lucifer.
Other
From a manga only arc of HIgurashi no Naku Koro Ni, which roughly translates to "Demon Exposing Arc".
I have no pictures of her.
