Something that is kinda bugging me are the lack of dominate females. I thought girls today hate being stereotyped into little pretty looking damsels? Sure, there are warrior females.
But I'm not asking for female characters that are strong athletic fighters, I am looking for amazons! I'm looking for BIG and STRONG females that dominate men, females of the brute 'power' type.
All females warrior females I scene are still small, because their creator wanted them to be a speed and agile type. But does anyone here have a big, strong, powerful female type? Even big and powerful creatures like werewolves, most people just make them little ones that are, yet again, a speed/agile type.
Running and dodging isn't very dominateish. Taking huge hits and just laughing completely unhurt, towering over a sad helpless (but strong by normal standards) human male, and defeating him in one attack! Now THAT is dominance!

Hmmm... an interesting proposal. I haven't any characters in mind, but I'll muse on it. Gruntilda the witch is kinda close, but she's too stupid to be effective. XD

Well, I know of one that qualifies pretty well. She's an OC of a person on dA called malignant-librarian, a werewolf named Sylvie.
Although malig's gallery is currently down as she's working on improving her art...

See, the problem with this in professional game/fantasy design is that big awesome epic Dominate girls don't fit into tiny skimpy little outfits.
But yeah, totally concurred. Up with the Amazons!!

Of course you can dominate females! I see guys doing it all the time. Behind alleys, in their bedrooms, at seedy motels-- there are plent of ways to dominate women! You can use electric chords, chloroform, even ruphies if ya go 'em!
I find the best way to dominate a female is to lure her into a building-- possibly by stealing something off of her person or having a child bring her to me-- and tying and gagging her. I then hang her from the ceiling and leave her to her death.
Honestly, if you're going to start a serious conversation you should spell-check first.

1. Can't you just make said amazons yourself since you want them so badly. 2. Won't character's like that be considered overpowered since they can't be hurt by normal attacks, and can defeat an opoponent in one blow? 3. Since they will be about brute strength, won't they be a little on the dumb side?
(Note: This is in no way to be mean, just putting my opinion out there. I have nothing against Amazons, it's just this could be considered.

Amazons are not in any way perfect, if that's what you're suggesting. They often have to forsake the arts and emotion to physically train themselves.

Just poking fun of a spelling mistake, people. Couldn't resist. You probably mean 'dominant'.

Well thinking of his specificiations, I do have Marilyn of the Shadow Sisters from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. (I have all three though =p) Especially compared to her other sisters, both of them mages, she's a big brute who exists to do pure physical damage. And she's dumb too; all she can say is "BUH!" But you don't need communication skills to sit on someone, now do you?

Good point, Felix. Ohhhh... good eye, 42, I just caught the error now. XD Okay, given that, I totally justify his poking fun at us. XDDDD Gotta have a sense of humor, guys.

Sticking on topic, there is something to be said for godmoding. Taking a hit and laughing being completely unhurt? Dude, I wouldn't like it if either gender did that without good reason. It's not that I have a problem with a character getting up and returning what they got two-fold, but unless there is a good reason they should at least react to getting hit. As in, it should probably be agreed upon among the players of the characters involved in the fight for the character to seem invulnerable. I don't like stupidly strong characters (granted, I have one - but he's destined to die at the hands of another player's character), I like a character being able to be hit. And as I once said in a topic about a villian in a video game (different board), characters tend to be based around archetypes. Some break the mold better than others. On a side note, I PREFER agile characters. It makes more sense to dodge or mostly dodge a potentially fatal blow than to laugh it off. If creating a dominant female is that important, you make one. Some of us LIKE dealing with archetypes about speed when it comes to female fighters.
