One of my friends on dA (whom I also know in real-life) posted a journal about some anime convention she's going to. I skimmed mostly, paying pretty much no attention to the contents...
...Until I reached a little thing at the bottom that stated she was reading Breaking Dawn, the fourth Twilight book.
To which I replied: "You're reading Breaking Dawn?
*snickers*

It was meant in all fun, as I hardly ever reply seriously to anything, unless it's a journal about, say, your best friend died or you have a terminal disease or something like that.
But another person I know in real life spotted this reply and immidiately entered Twilight-Fangirl mode.
"how is that funny -edited out because I don't like people calling me by my real name on the internet- thats mean......"
To which I replied:
"I'm just saying, for the last book in the series, it could have been so much better. Bella gets pregnant at eighteen, has a freak half-vampire child, gets turned into a vampire, and lives a perfectly normal, happy life without having to give up anything else. So she gets everything without losing anything besides her virginity and her humanity.

Well, that's when the Twilight-fangirl mode completely kicked in, believeing that I was mounting a flaming run against the VERY FEMALE-MESSIAH HERSELF because I didn't like the series.
"geez -woo more editing names out- still there was nothing wrong with her its awsome u have bad taste if u didnt like the book....."
By this time, I've entered rant mode.

I actually read Twilight this summer, and I had to say I wasn't very impressed. Also, we're all free to have our our own opinions. I personally do not like the Twilight series. I believe it's badly written, filled with Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus, not only that, I do not believe that it's the best thing since swiss cheese, unlike the obsessive fangirls who are so crazy about the series, they actually are now shunning the Harry Potter series because Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory's actor in the 4th movie) is playing Edward and they think he's doing an awful job as him.
However, I respect the fact that you read the series, but for God's sake, do not try to force your opinions on the non-Twilight readers, as that just makes them even more hateful of the series.

It makes me mad when I like a character from an anime, like Near from Death Note or Schrodinger from Hellsing, that nobody else likes. It's not the people that hate them that tick me off... It's the people that hate them and tell me I'm a retarded gay shit-eating faggot who needs to kill himself for the greater good of society for liking them. What the f***?! Since when have opinions become nonexistant?

It's people like this that are also people like the ones you're dealing with... Though I liked the Twilight series, I thought it was pretty cool, but I'm respectful of people's opinions. Why can't some people be respectful of opinions?
Here's yet another example. Someone posted a topic on what you think of Light Yagami from Death Note. My reply is...
"I started off liking Light, but then I came to like L, so when he pulled the strings to cause L's death, I began to hate him then."
The reply I get is this
"ur a cocksucker and ur mom's a whore light kills u both."
What the fuck does my mom have to do with anything?! I said I hated Light, I get hate mail. I say I like Death Note, I get called a Satanist for liking Light, so I say I hate Light naturally which brings about even MORE hate mail.

See, treetune, when you actually write for a living, you tend to be more critical when you read popular literature. Like me, I read Dragon Rider, and... well, I liked the creative ideas in it, but it definitely could've been written better.
Personally, I've heard bad things about Twilight, people call it "bad fan fiction," but my boyfriend's liking it so far, so I guess it all depends on your opinion. But yeah, crazy fangirls scare the bejeezes outta me. XD
And Felix.... the main reason they say that is to get a rise out of you, becasue I KNOW you, and you reply really strongly to that sort of thing. Just delete or hide the comment and ignore it.

Blah, we already have a rant on this.
Nowadays I hate the Twilight series. It kinda happened after the fourth book, with signs of pedophilia, the abusive relationships, etc... It all went downhill from there. Now I wouldn't hate the books and the author so much... if it wasn't for people like this.

Unfortunately most of my video games have already been beaten and I'm waiting for new videos to be updated before I go watch them... I'm going to be recording Ryuuseigun tonight though, but my brother made me wait because he wanted to be in it <_< As if I should give him the time of day. Unfortunately yesterday was his birthday, so I have no choice... birthday wish -_- Or are you talking about them? In that case, other then those pictures and the videos of the kitten crushing, I would've laughed. The irony would've amused me. God, I hate the trolls when they try to attack /ts/. Honestly.
I remember there was one on the old forums who had a signature that would litterally CRASH YOUR BROWSER because it was far too large, and most browsers couldn't load it. It was because of them that they had to impose a signature size limit.

I read on the internet something along the lines of: This guy was sitting in Chemistry one day talking to his friend about things and the subject of Twilight came up. He said he did not like it at all. Unfortunately, insane Twilight fans overheard and walked over there. They practically f*cking lynched him. They beat the living shit out of him and even stabbed him with a pencil.
