Inside the mirror, it was an entirely different place. Shagrath, the leader of the Dark Empire, who, by just looking at him, would drive any normal person insane, was standing over another man. "You've done well, Lucifer," Shagrath said. "Lucifer... That's impossible... No, wait, just another person named Lucifer," Shinichi said, his paranoia on high. "Thank you Master... Within a year, we'll have Felix back... By then, we should have obtained all of the jewel pieces," Lucifer said. "Not good," Shinichi said.

"Of course not..." Then he grimaced as he looked out the window. No one was there. "... I really am paranoid. I thought I felt his presence." Shagrath, meanwhile, was looking in the direction of the mirror, even though there was no mirror there, but it was like he was staring into the eyes of the person who was staring into the mirror, quite frankly Peach at this moment.

Suddenly Shagrath's head came out of the mirror. "Did you think such scrying magic would work?" he hissed. "What?!" Shinichi turned and Shagrath lost all interest in Peach as he came full fledged out of the mirror. That aura of pure power and evil now radiated inside the room and Shinichi felt his anger and fear running on high. "Of course it would be your, my traiterous son," he said. "I AM NO SON OF YOURS!" With those words of anger, Shinichi charged the demon king, merely to be repelled by a shield of dark energy.

Felix stirred and groaned, rubbing his eyes. Shinichi landed and slashed the shield, doing nothing to it. Felix's eyes turned red and he stared at Shagrath. Without hesitation, the usually innocent boy let out a demonic cry that pierced Shinichi's ears, did not affect Peach in the slightest, but blew Shagrath's dark shield into smithereens before knocking him hardly into the wall. "... The power of Kil'Jaedan... There it is," Shagrath said, grinning wildly through the cry.
