"F-Felix! Are you alright??" Double d clung to him from behind, to make sure he was okay.

"I'll be fine... T-The mark," Felix said as he saw it fade. "The sword I possess is of high magic... Your days of ressurecting are over. I'll kill you, Felix, for your treachery," Masahiro said. "How ironic... All those times I wanted to die, I couldn't. And now that I can die, I don't want to," Felix said with a humerous smile on his face.

"Well, you won't!!" Double D proclaimed boldly. "I WILL protect you this time, I swear it!!" He steped in front of Felix.
"Double D, are you nuts!? This guy nearly KILLED you last time!"
"But you're all here with me to help... right?!"
"...ah! Right!" With that, Eddy, Ed, and Raz, who had recovered, flanked him on either side.

"Oh how sweet. Your fruitless efforts only drive me on," Masahiro said. His smile becoming even more maniacal, he charged at them. It was then that Felix saw a glimmer. His eyes widened and he saw what he thought to be a glimmer of shock, despair, and regret. Is my mind playing tricks on me?

Masahiro stopped and ended up teleporting behind them. "Looking to stop me?" he said before turning and slashing at Felix, who rolled out of the way and shot a beam of light at Masahiro. He dodged with ease and ended up in Eddy's range of fire.

"HA! You're TOAST, creep!" Eddy launched a good-sized fireball at him, igniting him.

"Once again, you're an idiot," Masahiro said as he shot his own fireball, ignoring the fact that he was on fire as it did not pain him or harm him in the least. "Hellspawn are naturally adaptive to fire."

"HURAGH!!" Double D swung another Sheild Fist at Masahiro, enraged beyond all measure.

Masahiro smirked. "Insolent fool," he said before thrusting his fist at Double D's chest, his fist glowing red.

Double D gaped at the incredible force shoved in him, feeling and even hearing the nasty sound of his ribs cracking.
"DOUBLE D!!!"

"EDDWARD-CHAN!" Felix cried as he heard the ribs crack. He felt his heart tearing. Masahiro charged out while Edd was stunned. No one could get to him in time. Not even Eddy could.
There was silence. Masahiro had his eyes closed in victory. He hit his mark. He opened his eyes to see his prey... And found them widening in disbelief.
White blood touched the floor. Felix was coughing it up. His heart had been pierced by Masahiro's sword and now he stood there, looking at the ground. He pulled the sword out of him weakly. "I... I told... told you... You would... would not touch him... And I... I failed him..." Masahiro's eyes widened as he realized he had just stabbed his possession, his lust... the one he lusted for...

Double D cringed deeply, but his eyes instantly widened when he looked up. "F...Fe..."

"Damnit... Why did you...?" "I saw that good still remains inside you... And I cannot hate you... I can only loathe... what you've become," Felix said as blood leaked out of his mouth. "You... will... not... kill... Edd... Wa..." Felix suddenly dropped and his eyes glazed over. Masahiro backed off, his eyes widening with panic and fear while that good inside of him that Felix spoke about cried and screamed, never wanting this to happen.

"F...Felix..." Trembling, Double D weakly dragged himself over to Felix's prone form. "No... F-Felix, you... you can't be..."
Tears welled up in Ed's eyes.
"...I.. I promised... I'd protect you...I'd keep you safe... you can't..."
Eddy looked away, unable to bear the pitiful scene before him.
"Please, Felix... you can't die... open your eyes, please..."
Raz averted his gaze, clenching a fist. Life was so unfair.
"Felix...! Answer me, Felix!"
It was a pitiful site indeed to watch as Double D collapsed over Felix, sobbing.
"FELIX!!!!![/i]"
