Later on, Double D reached for Felix in his sleep, awakening when no one was there. Confused, he quietly got out of bed and searched the apartment... until he found the note on the table. Next to it was a jewel piece.
Scared, Double D read the note, only to have his fears confirmed. Crunching the note in his clenched fingers, he bit his lip until he decided. He was not going to let him go so easily! Not after everything they had fought for!
Grabbing the jewel and pocketing it, he left the apartment, making sure not to disturb anyone.
