"Mmm..." Double D snuggled closer as well. Felix was right; even with all the hits on him, even with the death and drama and destruction around them... as long as they had each other... they would endure. They would stand together, alongside their friends... always.

Felix cuddled his head onto Eddward's chest and let himself drift to sleep. After a few weeks, all of them would find a surprise.

Absolutely content, even during the afternoon, Double D found himself dosing off as well.

Double D smiled, burying his face in Felix's hair and taking in his lovely scent. Usually he'd panic at their lack of clothes, but they were both mostly under the covers, and they were so darn comfortable... no moment was ever as perfect. He kept stroking Felix as he tiredly glanced around the dimly-lit room.

Double D was happy to know no more nightmares invaded Felix's dreams. Despite all the nightmares happening around them in the real world... right now, a respite was all that was needed.
