"I'll be...fine... It's for... the child... after all......"
"...Double D?" Concerned, Ed reached over, trying to shake Double D awake. "...Hey! D-Double D!" No luck. "Double D!!"
"Relax, Edwin-chan!" Michiko calmed him down, approaching the unconcsious Double D's side. She scanned his mental activity, then smiled. "Ah... he is only in REM."
"REM?" Eddy made a face.
"Rapid eye movement," Raz replied. "You know, when your eyes move when you're dreaming? It's the deepest form of sleep you can be in." He chuckled. "There's no waking up Double D for now."
Fletcher chuckled as well. "Who knew angel pregnancies could make you narcolyptic?"
(To get to REM, most people have to go through four other stages of sleep. Narcolyptic people, however, can fall automatically into REM, even when they're wide awake.
Conclusion? I love my Psychology class ^^ We learn such cool stuff.)

"This sucks a lot," Felix said, frowning as he saw his lover fall into the deepest sleep... This reminded Trevor about a coma and he frowned. "Damnit... I'm not likin' this one bit," he said.

"He's fine, Trev," Raz replied. As a psychonaut, he had to be schooled in psychology. "REM is perfectly normal, recommended, even, if you want a good sleep."

Raz winced. "Yikes."
"Eddward-chan is fine," Michiko assured. "As Razputin said, REM is normal. He just needs sleep, that's all."
Eddy sighed and collapsed on the couch, next to Nazz. "...we'd better keep a closer eye on 'em. Who knows what sicko'll want the kid, and they won't get to defend themselves."

"Well, then, we gotta protect 'em," Matilde concluded, stating the obvious. "Duh. It's what we've been doing since they first GOT into this whole thing."
"'Specially that Wizard guy..." Raz mused. "...I noticed he's had his eye on Double D... dunno why."
"Whatever!" Eddy sat up. "I wouldn't care if the abominidible snowman was out for him! No one's gonna lay a FINGER on him!"

"Me too!" Ed proclaimed, but his firm expression was dashed at a small growl. "....after food!"
Eddy rolled his eyes, only to gape when his own stomach rumbled.
(hahah, cue cute moment of embarressmant in front of his crush. XD When were we thinking of hooking the two up, anyways? No rush, I'm just curious)

Nazz chuckled softly. Trevor patted Eddy on the back. "No worries mate. Sounds like she's OK," Trevor said. Then he sighed. "We're so used to Felix making the food... What're we gonna do now?"

Fletcher stood. "We make it ourselves, that's what." He gestured to his group. "Us five will head back to our dorm to make our own meals. That way we don't run through your food supply."
"Thanks..." Eddy sighed, swallowing a blush, as Ed zipped into the kitchen happily.

Trevor left with the others. "Later guys," he said. "I'm just gonna go to ze mall," Schrodinger replied as he dissapeared, Trevor walking off. Nazz just sat there, confused. All of his friends were slowly turning into superheroes and she was still normal... Wouldn't you be confused?

Eddy couldn't help but notice her discomfort (for once!), and without a thought, took her by the hand.

Nazz's mentality kicked back in and now her stomach growled. She blushed in embarassment. "If it wouldn't hurt," she said.

"Yeah, um... I think we got plenty, right?" A thumbs-up from the doorway from Ed clarified this. "And even if not, I can run out and get more...um..."
Raz snickered at Eddy's blush, which failed to die away.
