Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip/ That started from this tropic port aboard this tiny ship
The Ballad of Gilligan's Island went through the man's head as he inspected the shipwreck. It was a lifeboat-- the likes of which might be on a whaling ship or such a thing. In the timber of the wreck was the unconscious body of a sailor-- middle-aged and quite sea-worthy, from the look of him.
"Hmm. Bet he's got some tales to tell." The man mused quietly. "But, the problem arises that I'm not talking to anyone. Odd."

"...The mate was a mighty sailing man, The skipper brave and sure! Five passengers set sail that day For a three hour tour, a three hour tour!"
...sang a raspy voice, horribly off-key, from a short little man skipping in the sand further down the beach, a perpetual grin of obliviousness peeking past his black beard.

The man gave a small smile to the stranger skipping towards him. "Oh, hello!" He waved. "Name's John Smith. I don't suppose you know this man." He casually pointed to the sleeping figure lying on the beach.
"I think he might need to go to a hospital. I'm no good with hospitals, though. I died in one."

"HMM??" The strange little man turned in a playful circle to face this John Smith, his arms waving as if trying to keep his round body balanced in his twirl. "Me?" With exaggerated expressions of thought, he examined the unconscious sailor, turned back up to John, and grinned happily.
"Nope! Never seen him before in my life!"

"Um... do I know you?" The man asked. "I mean, do I know your name? I obviously don't know you. I don't know myself very well. Do you? Ah, I'm getting off subject. Side effects of a haphazard regeneration, I suppose."

"I'm BOOSTER!" the little man cried with the giddiness of a child. "And I don't know you either!" He continued to grin happily.

"Yeah, that's probably for the best." John Smith gave a small smile. "So, we should probably get this fellow to a hospital. Have they made a new one since the old one fell apart?"

"Ummmmmmmmmm..." Booster scratched his hairy chin. "I THINK there's one out east... in that village with the crazy-looking trees!"

"Crazy-looking trees?" The man furrowed his brow in concentration. "I think I was there once or twice, when that plague thing was going around. I took some samples so I could try to find a cure. No such luck, though."

"Plague? Like on your teeth??" Booster exclaimed, pulling his mouth open to reveal his teeth. It was clear there was not much point in trying to explain something deep and meaningful to him.

"Hmm. No, not exactly." John smith smiled; amused. "Well, let's get this poor sod off to the hospital." Quickly, he got down and tried to lift him up. His face wrinkled in disgust and John Smith stood up.
"Oh, that's bad! How could something that's drifted in the sea smell that... bad?!" Ugh!"

"Cause the sea is salty and corrosive!" Booster gagged. "Either that, or he's already dead!"

"I'm... alive..."
"You say something?" John Smith asked Booster calmly.

"Nope! ..least I don't THINK so..." He stared down at the sailor for a second, then gasped dramatically. "IT'S A ZOMBIEEEEEE!!!"

Mr. Smith looked down at the body, which had budged slightly since they had last looked at it. "Hmm? No, zombies don't say 'I'm alive'. They say 'Brains' or 'Are you my mummy?'. Trust me, I'm telling you from experience."
