The Hotel's winding halls continued to stretch out looking almost improbable in all ways. How anyone could stand to live in a nutty place was beyond a lot of people's understanding. Sure it was a decent place to live, cheap too. But it was far too prone to random acts of magic and various other feats of randomness; some people could be sleeping in their rooms during the night, and wake up on the roof, the next morning.
The current time? 5:00 PM.
The Current date? Unsure.
but what could be certain was the three people walking down the hall of the crazy hotel. One of which lead the way, looking more and more unsure as he went along.
"It should be around here somewhere..." Climber muttered, as his eyes trailed each room number expectantly.

Beatrice was looking more and more angry as time went on. "Of COURSE the guy we're looking for is living in the Hotel From Hell. That just figures, doesn't it. Bitch." She sighed and punched a random door.
"Bloody wanker, who the fuck just did that?! Do not make me get this fishing pole!"
Beatrice twitched for a second and moved away from the door. "Whoops."

"Can you please stop trying to get us killed for one minute?!" Nutcase said, glaring at Beatrice. "I swear, you're just as bad as these two robots I let live in one of the spare rooms in my apartment back home."
Clown Man then said, "Come on, Tom and Crow have an excuse. They were stranded in space forced to watch the worst movies ever made. That HAD to have scramble their circuts somehow."
"True, but you'd think they'd adjust to living in the real world by now." Nutcase said as they continued down the hall. Nutcase then looked to Climber and said, "Climber, are you sure Gantzs is in this very hotel? I rented a room here myself and never once did I see Gantz here at all."

Climber looked to each room number hoping to find something familiar. After a moment, he reached into the front of his helmet and pulled out what appeared to be a small piece of paper. "Gantz barely leaves his room these days, Nutcase..." He turns to the loon. "You know how it is with him; once he starts on a job, he becomes so... Uh... stuck to it, that you can barely rip him away from it."
After examining the piece of paper, he turned to Nutcase and Beatrice. "Uh, Nutcase? Miss Beatrice? Could you possibly help me find this room number?" He handed them the piece of paper.
The room number in question was room 278... ... ...
And they had PASSED that room a few minutes ago.
"I'm never any good at finding that room. I get lucky sometimes and find it myself, but I usually need help."

Nutcase smacked himself in the face, saying, "We just passed that room...we're up in the 500s now..."

Beatrice facepalmed. "Okay, then let's just go back that way. If we walk far enough, then we should find it..." She trailed off as she suddenly started staring at her hand, which was starting to fade.
"...Don't have a lot of time..." she mumbled. "Alright, bitches, let's get going! We need to find this guy before that bounty hunter catches up to me and stuff!"

"We did?" Climber asked, looking surprised. After a moment, one could swear that if Climber could blush, he would have right then. "I'm sorry! But this place always stumps me..."
A few minutes later, the group was finally back in the 200's, Climber rubbed a finger on the room numbers so as not to miss what he was looking for. "Let's see here..." 290... 284... Climber looked at the room numbers carefully. He knew about Beatrice's predicament, so he knew he could scarcely afford to miss it this time...
Finally the number 278 appeared. The door it was plastered on was a simple one, though it was littered with various chalked on magic circles and had pieces of paper with rune like seals taped to it. All in all... It seemed a sheer MIRACLE that they had even missed it before. "Ah here it is!" Climber said cheerfully. With a slow move, he set down the bag he had been carrying on his pick-axe, and used said tool to knock on the door...
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
"Yes hello?"
Nutcase froze up, recognizing that voice instantly.
"Hey Gantz! It's me, Climber! I'm back from the store!" the Climber said to the door, picking up the bag once more. "I've got the food you asked for, and I didn't even screw up with the credit card this time!" He seemed relatively pleased with himself. "Can I come in?"
"Uh, sure. Hold on a second, let me just reach a good stopping place..." Though it was so low it could barely be heard, there was a sound similar to the turning of pages. Finally, there was a small thump, as the book closed... ... ...
'Click!' came the sound of the door lock, as the door finally opened... ... ...
Inside was a young boy of around 16 years of age, wearing dark clothes, like a dark green cap, sunglasses with black and blue rims, a dark brown jacket (With a brown shirt underneath), and a pair of street style jeans that had a few holes in them. He appeared bare-foot, aside from a pair of white socks.
He smiled widely, "I'm glad to hear that everything turned out well Cli-"
He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the other two members in Climber's company.
The Climber appeared to notice this, but didn't think anything was wrong. "Look who I ran into today Gantz! It's Nutcase! And here I thought you said he was gone! Somehow I knew he wouldn't be."
Gantz, from the open door, looked at Nutcase, as if he was a ghost...

Beatrice stared at Gantz. "Geez, what's with you, kid? And why are you wearing sunglasses in a dark hotel anyways? But anyways, I'm Beatrice, and I need you to do something for me. You can help, can't you? Or at least that stupid Net Navi of yours can, I hope. I'm on a short time frame, bitch."

Nutcase glared at Beatrice and said, "Watch it, lady! Gantz here doesn't appreciate swearing all that much so can you cool it with the sailor lingo?"

SLAAAM!!!!!!!!!!
Both of them jumped when Gantz suddenly slammed the door shut, locking it for good measure. When they both looked, they saw that the Climber was gone, most likely inside the room.
"CLIMBER!!!!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Came a harsh whisper from Gantz that the two almost barely missed.
Climber, when he spoke next, sounded sorrowful. "But Gantz, you should've seen it. He acts like Nutcase, he talks like Nutcase; why he even performed those crazy acts just like Nutcase did."
"How am I supposed to believe that?" Came Gantz's voice, "Any toon can perform the tricks Nutcase could do. Sure he LOOKS like him-"
Climber interrupted him swiftly. "Well how will you know if it IS him, if you won't even give him a chance?!"
Gantz fell silent at this... ... ... ... ... ... ...
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
'Click'. Came the lock as the door once again came unlocked, and the door opened once more, only this time just a hair.
From the crack, Gantz stared fearfully at Nutcase and Beatrice, unsure what to think. "Nutcase? Is that really you?"

"Oh don't you sytart! I was givin hell by Climber with all this! Now knock of the suspicious act already!"
A thought came into Nutcase's completely crashed, but suprisingly still functional brain, and he said, "Ok, this is the ultimate test. Watch."
Nutcase held out his hands and summond his keyblade, the Key to Peace. He then said, "I highly doubt a fake me would have this, now would he?"

Gantz looked wide-eyed at the keyblade, looking like he could scarcely believe his eyes...
However, after a moment, his eyes fell on Beatrice. "What about her?"
[Sorry miss FF, but it does make for a good way for Gantz to get acquainted with Beatrice. Moving along, though, we await your response next.]

"My name is Beatrice, and I'm here to get something from you. To put things simply, I need your help," Beatrice sighed and removed her projection, revealing herself to be the blue Fluffy plushie. Every now and then, her body shook.
"I'm normally a human, but for the past couple years, I've been this. And I don't have a lot of time left, so I need you to turn me back into a human. Can you do that?"

Gantz stared at Beatrice a moment, then back at Nutcase... ... ... ...
He closed the door once more, but it was quickly followed by the sound of another lock being undone, before it opened once more; this time, all the way. "Come on in." Gantz said as he motioned for them to follow him.
The two walked inside...
And immediately beheld a pig-sty.
The living room/kitchen was littered with books. Now I'm not talking about those little picture books or any of those skinny little story books or anything, that could teach a kid the basics of the english language. What we were talking about was thick tomes that looked like they were written a thick rune like language, that Nutcase, and not even Beatrice (whom had attended Alchemist school and thus would know about them, thus making it surprising) could recognize. Along with the books, their were a few screens hanging on the walls, and even one fixed just right behind the couch sitting in front of the TV. The screens appeared blank save for the dark blue data moving in the background, thus making one theorize that these screens were linked to the Cyber World.
Among these however was even stranger things. It was apparent Gantz had been VERY bored in the recent days and had invented little machines that went about their purpose idly, what these purposes was, seemed random; from an automatic type writer that appeared to automatically write out the going ons of the room, before the paper fell neatly into a box just right next to it (Nutcase looked and saw that the top-most sheet had even had recorded on it Gantz's earlier arguement with the Climber), to a little, roughly made clock that chimed the hour (The group noticed that the little characters that littered the clock almost appeared to be Bombermen), and even a small toy like robot that walked back and forth across a nearby desk. As they walked, the group could feel a noticeable magical presence around these items, making them theorize that Gantz had used Magi-Technology to make them work.
"Please pardon the mess." Gantz said, straightening out a stray strand of hair in front of his face. "I've never had any need to fix up and impress since Climber was the only one that ever came in aside from myself. I guess that just goes to show you how much of a slob a kid my age can be."
In the kitchen, Climber set down the bag he had been carrying and opened it, showing that frozen pizza boxes (Of the Tostinos variety) was what had been taking up the sack, along with a box of Apple-Jacks and Wild-berry Poptarts. Climber stared at the Pizza box's confused. "Uh, Gantz-?"
"The Freezer, Climber." Climber heard Gantz respond.
"Thanks!" Nodding at this, he placed the pizza boxes in the Freezer and proceeded to place the Pop-tarts and cereal where they went.
Gantz, having gathered a few books and put them aside, cleaned off the couch and a few comfortable chairs. "Go ahead, make yourself at home... If at all possible." Gantz chuckled at his own joke, as he put the boks away, making extra sure to make a mental note of which books had bookmarks poking out the top.

"Don't mind if I do," Beatrice said, and put up her human form again. Before Gantz could put away one of the books, Beatrice got to it first, and started flipping through it.
"Damn, I remember this one from Alchemist Academy. 'How Not To Be An Anime Cliche.'" She laughed. "I remember a lot of guys thought that to be an alchemist, all they needed was a fancy watch and a magic circle on the ground." She then tossed the book to the ground and took a seat in a nearby chair before starting to read it.
"So, Mr. Gantz, what kind of mage are you? And where's this 'Starman' I've been hearing so much about anyways?"
