(Sorry, I'm inviting NN1 for now...maybe I'll let others join a bit later)
King lay there on the soft grass with his eyes closed, feeling the cool breeze blow through his fur. It felt nice, but it didn't make sense. He shouldn't be here...he should'nt be anywhere. What happened? He couldn't seem to get a grasp on the past events that led him to wake up in this strange place. Then suddenly something else crossed his mind.
"Toroko..." he mumbled and sat up quickly, his eyes snapping open ", I have to find her..."

After awakening, the sound of music floating on the air could be heard, soft plucks of a guitar and groovy humming, scatting, and even howling. Someone was taking advantage of the seclusion of this area to practice.

"Hm?" King stood up ", What's that?"
He knew he had to find Toroko but his curiosity got the best of him as he wandered toward the source of the music. Soon he found who was playing and hid in a bush. He didn't want to be seen, not being sure if it was an enemy or not. He peered out to see...

...a small dog, sitting on the stump of a bonsai tree. He continued on with his song, undisturbed.

King raised an eyebrow and watched intently.
Huh...weird...
The music was entrancing and he found himself completely lost in it. A bit too lost maybe as he began to lose his balance. Snapping out of it he tried to stop himself from falling flat on his face but to no avail. He fell forward flat on his face and in plain sight.
"Ow..."

"...hmm?" The dog cracked one eye open, though that was the only disturbance evident. His paws kept strumming the guitar, even as he looked up to find the source of the noise.

King quickly jumped to his feet and placed his hand on his sword, surprised to find it there at all.
"Wh-who are you?" he asked cautiously. He never really trusted anyone outside Mimiga Village which is clearly where he wasn't any longer.

"Hey, hey." The music stopped as the dog calmly raised his paws in defense. "Chill out, man. I'm just practicing my tunes. Sorry if I disturbed the quiet. I thought not a soul was around."

King just stared at him. He appeared to be harmless but he couldn't be sure. He loosened up a bit but was still ready just in case something went wrong.
"Whatever, you still never answered me though. Who are you? And for that matter where the hell am I?" he asked in a very demanding tone. He wanted answers and he wanted them now.

"Name's K.K." the dog replied, resuming his song once the stranger had relaxed. "This here's Dimensional Island. We're on the east end of it."

"Dimensional...Island..." King repeated to himself, never having heard of it before. Just then he remembered something ", H-hey, have you seen a young girl, same race as me? She's about this high", he demonstrated with his hands ", wears a green shirt...something like that? Her name's Toroko..." His tone changed to one of worry. He cared very much about Toroko.

"Hmm... nope. Haven't seen any face like that around," K.K. thoughtfully strummed. "I do get around the island, though, so if I see her, who should I tell her is looking for her?"

"I see..." King replied suddenly sounding extremely disappointed ", ...if you see her then, tell her that King's looking for her..."
He turned around and started to head off towards...well he really had no idea where he was headed.

As King walked away with a heavy heart, he suddenly heard a loud rumbling. Looking off in the direction of the noise he noticed something strange. Coming towards them was a large group of strange vehicles, all of which looked rather dangerous. He wasn't sure what to make of it, he had never seen anything like it before.
"What's that...?"
