Full Name: Knuckle Joe
Nicknames: None known
Age: Possibly between 16-19
Height: ? (Around the size of a 10 year old, though he’s older, and WAY stronger then looks suggest.)
Weight: Unsure
Gender: Male
Race: Knuckle Joes (Basically, a species of people that look like Knuckle Joe himself, but bare small differences between themselves. Usually only denizens of Dreamland can tell them and indeed, other species of people apart.)
Alliance: Good... ... For the most part.
Home: He’s a wanderer, making his temporary home anywhere he drops in the wide wide world of Dreamland.
Franchise: Kirby (I’m going with the flow of the other Kirby characters though and keeping with the game’s continuity rather then the anime. So this is like a Knuckle Joe OC; in a way.)
Physical Description: A being that takes the form of an energetic, rough around the edges, and often times quite coarse young man. Wearing red exercise clothes with red boots, white gloves and a white head-band, Knuckle Joe is always ready for a brawl. So much so that his abilities are often feared by the other denizens of Dreamland; his wild yellow hair that sticks up on either side of the white head band, looping over the top of his head, often enough to strike fear into anyone that sees it.
Weapons: None, prefers his fists.
Abilities/Powers: In many ways, Knuckle Joe is the Martial Arts king back where he comes from, though he still has a long way to go, before he’s ready to measure up to warriors of Dimensional Island (Or beating his self-proclaimed Arch-rival Kirby). His most powerful abilities include Vulcan Jab (A rapid fire fist attack that sends out spheres of ki energy like a machine gun), Spin Kick (A jumping spin kick that can send a arc of ki energy at anyone that gets too close), and Rising Break (A ki energy powered Uppercut, which has enough force to shatter or slice a boulder in half; depends on his position when striking said boulder.) Where he lacks in experience and below average skill, he makes up for it with pure power.
Skills: Being a wanderer, he’s become an excellent outdoorsman, able to take care of himself even in the most inhospitable environment.
Personality: A bit of an impetuous child indeed. Knuckle Joe is such a fighting enthusiast that he often stops what he’s doing at the drop of a hat to watch a good fight. When fighting himself, he tends to give everything he’s got, not believing even in the slightest of holding back. Thus he is often unfairly given the label of bully. But it is only in Knuckle Joes spirit to put up a good fight. (More explained in history.)
History: Ever since the day he first stepped into a dojo, Knuckle Joe showed great potential; after all, many in his species of Dreamlandians often become powerful martial artists in and of themselves (Heck, his Martial arts teacher was of Knuckle Joe’s race). However, Knuckle Joe’s enthusiasm and great strength soon began to show, shall we say, unintended signs of aggression.
To the master’s grave miscalculation, he decided to ignore it for a time; but it was soon proven that Knuckle Joe himself didn’t know how to control his own strength. Literally a time-bomb among the students, Knuckle Joe’s energy soon put him at the top of his class, much against the master’s wishes when he learned of Knuckle Joe’s sad truth (He had wanted Knuckle Joe to advance through the ranks by skill and not pure power alone). Knuckle Joe was a menace on the sparring arena floor, his enthusiasm making him beat his opponents with rather unnecessary force. Due to this, he was labeled a bully, much to the boy’s anger; and for a time, he lived up to that name.
Finally, the students of the dojo couldn’t stand it any longer and, behind their masters back, called upon the legendary Star Warrior Kirby to do something about him. Predictably, Kirby won, but it left Knuckle Joe emotionally hurt. Humiliated, he ran away from the dojo, despite the grievances of his master that he was unable to tell the boy what he had done wrong.
Other: Knuckle Joe is still rather embittered by his defeat, and encounters Kirby from time to time; challenging him to fights but ultimately losing time and time again. Pushed to frustration, he soon began training once more, fatigue nothing more then a passing glance.
Then, one day, as he camped along the peaks of Ice Cream Mountain, a mysterious rift opened up, sucking the poor boy in, before he could realize what was happening.
………………………
Knuckle Joe being on Dimensional Island… … Could this lead to possible injury and thus more ostracizing?
We shall soon see.
Picture: This is the look that I'm going for the game version of Knuckle Joe.
But still here's a picture of his anime versions, both monster and normal, just so you'll have more pictures to go on for imagining what he looks like XD
