Ms. Dopple ignored him and instead pulled a syringe out from her pants pocket.
"This is an experimental formula. I had hoped to use it on Mr. Copycat, but I suppose I can use it on you instead..." Ms. Dopple said quietly.

Ms. Dopple chuckled. "Any dragon has a soft spot. I don't see why you aren't the same. And plus, this was designed for use on Dopplegangers. We have harder skin than a canary."

Ms. Dopple suddenly snatched Night's wrist and held up his hand. "The pads of your paws, of course. If they were coated with metal as well, it would be impossible to feel things, or even grasp things, as they have to have several ridges and grooves to grasp things."

"I have gloves on for a reason you know." Night responded as he kicked on his aura sight, wondering if Ms. Dopple had the same 'allergy' as Mr. Copycat.

Ms. Dopple twitched, but she didn't seem as affected by the aura sight.
"Too bad for you, I am not a failure like Mr. Copycat." Ms. Dopple said. She took this moment to grab both of Night's hands and hold them behind his back.
"Do not resist. You will be assimilated."

Ms. Dopple's body merely shifted out of the way.
"You forget, I am not a failure. I can actually shift my whole body, unlike the failure." Ms. Dopple said. Suddenly, she tensed. There seemed to be some kind of communication going on between her and someone far in the distance through telepathy. "Damn, now? Well, my friend, I have to leave, but I will be back for you and your little friends later!" And then, she dropped Night and the syringe and broke off running before morphing into a large bird and flying away.
