Nutcase saw the shocked expressions on Talim and Gantz's faces when they heard Chip's voice just then. They knew now Chip clearly wasn't one to be trusted.

Nutcase then said, "Do you guys wanna kill him or should I?"

Sonic and Tails, meanwhile, remained completely oblivious to the appearence of two of their enemies, one for a long time, and one who had just made one appearence and probably was thought of as dead for a long time. "This purse is the best thing I can get her, so I'll buy it," Sonic said.

Metal didn't know what to do. Silver Sonic's sudden appearance onto the scene made things a lot more difficult. His 'Destructive Programming' had stopped, and something different was echoing throughout his being. Climber was looking through the other cloth materials, also unaware of what was going on.

"Kuraima." Metal whispered. The Climber turned to him looking confused.

"Yeah, Metaru?" Climber said, with a raised eye-brow.

"How well can you fight?" Metal said, coming to a decision.

"I can fight okay, but... Why do you ask?"

Gantz sighed, looking less enthused. "Well I'm afraid your wrong Chip." He shook his head. "The Philosophers Stone is not what I have here in my pocket."

Chip stared at Gantz as if he's gone crazy.

"If you don't believe me, see for yourself." Gantz pulled his hand out of his pocket, and immediately everyone who could sense aura's (Meaning Talim and Chip) felt themselves shudder at the weak but still apparent evil energy that was hiding in Gantz's fist. The boy uncurled his fingers, and allowed Chip to see the black and red metallic shard, before quickly gripping it again. "I'm sorry Chip. I know that you were looking forward to it, but I do not have what you were looking for."

Talim shook her head; as far as the wind was concerned, Chip was a wildcard, there was no telling, at this point, if he was a danger to the world or not. "The shard you saw, is a shard of the Soul Edge, the Cursed Sword. It is a horrible blade that eats souls, and caused the death of millions back on my world."

That definately caught both Chip and Nutcase's attention, as they looked at them with wide-eyes.

CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone jumped at that sound.

Back at the store, Metal had went through all the math in his head, but no matter what he did, he had no idea what was to happen should he do this. He had no doubt in his mind he could beat Silver Sonic, he could do it himself, but the Climber would be a big help.

But the thing that scared Metal most was how Sonic would react. He knew in the deepest corner of his mind that he could not defeat Sonic, so if he saw both him and Silver Sonic as enemies, he would be in big trouble. He had only just got brought back to life, and he was enjoying his life, short as it was right now. But now, as his hand morphed into the 'Machine Gun' feature...

He supposed the only thing he could do was trust in fate, if he was to be destroyed today, he would regret nothing.

"Well help me, that person there," He pointed at the disguised Silver Sonic, "Wishes to harm the blue hedgehog."

The Climber looked to Silver Sonic a moment. "Why?"

Metal lowered his head, as he felt his jet-engine booster, prime in energy. "Because he has the same programming I have... The Programming to kill. And I must stop him."

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What happened next was utter chaos.

Metal fired up his engines and, with a sonic boom, zoomed straight at Silver Sonic. He crashed clean into the silver robot, tackling him... Before, Metal cursed that he did not consider this in his observations, they both CRASHED through the wall beyond him creating a huge hole.

Regardless, this caught the attention of everyone in the store, including Sonic and Tails.

"H-hey!!! Metal!! Wait for me!!!!" Climber quickly took off after the robot, his pick-axe at the ready, completely forgetting that he was supposed to say Metaru instead of Metal. That name echoed throughout the room

Outside, Silver Sonic, his silver hedgehog form revealed, stood off against Metal, whom's robes had been ruined, thus revealing who he truely was. "Silver Sonic." Metal said, pulling out his machine gun arm. "You will not harm Sonic."

"DESTROY..." Silver Sonic uttered in response.

Metal looked surprised at this; True Silver Sonic wasn't supposed to be intelligent, but he knew there was some intelligence in their somewhere. Had Silver Sonic gone wild?

Oh well... He supposed he should've seen this coming a long time ago. "Forgive me, Silver Sonic..." He aimed his machine gun arm at Silver Sonic. "But I cannot let you do that." The sound of Metal priming his machine gun came after.

Chip glared at Nutcase when he offered to kill him, but when Gantz spoke up, he looked down. "Aw man... now what am I supposed to do? I mean, I guess I could always take Bea-bea's, but she hid hers somewhere... before she kept it in her plushie body, but it's missing now..."

The crash suddenly jolted Chip out of his depression and he turned in the direction it had come, and started running off towards it, leech sleeves trailng behind him. As he ran, he started mumbling to himself.

Beatrice had fallen asleep, but the crash jolted her out of it. "What the?! Alright, now who's fighting!? If they wanted to fight, then they shoulda come to me!" She started running off towards the shop

If Sonic and Tails hadn't had noticed, they would've been extremely stupid. But they were not and, as the crashes sounded, they turned to see the huge hole in the wall. "WHAT THE HELL?!" Sonic yelled.

"S-Sonic... Something tells me there's trouble," Tails said.

"I can see that... Let's go," Sonic said and, within probably a couple of nanoseconds or maybe just one second, he was out of the building, having travelled through the hole. Tails, on the other hand, took a couple of seconds and came out to see Sonic gaping at what he saw before him.

Nutcase arrived at the site of the disturbence before anyone else. He saw Metal and Climber fending off another robotic version of Sonic the Hedgehog. Nutcase's eyes widened at the sight, remembering quite well who this robot was; Silver Sonic. He was the first of Dr. Eggman's Sonic robots. Silver Sonic wasn't as sophisticated as Metal himself, but he was almost as deadly.

Dodging a piece of shranel from an exploded bomb thrown by Metal towards Silver Sonic, Nutcase lunged at Silver Sonic, delivering a harsh flying kick to the robot's side, knocking it to the ground while it wasn't looking.

"I'm not gonna bother asking how this guy's still around Metal, but start talking! What's going on?!" Nutcase practically screamed as he brought out his keyblade.

Metal would've answered, but Silver Sonic tackled him full long, causing the two to crash. Metal countered with a powerful punch, and, firing up his jet booster, rocketed after the robot. Silver Sonic fired his own jet boosters, and the two clashed in mid-air.

The Climber ran up to Nutcase. "It isn't Metal, Nutcase! That Silver thingie was trying to hurt somebody! Metal stopped him!"

Gantz, having heard this running up (With Talim right behind him), smirked at Nutcase. "Told ya, he had changed."

CRAAACK!!!!

Back in the sky, Metal had slammed a metallic fist into Silver Sonic's temple and sent him flying. Metal followed by pulling out his machine gun arm, and fired off at Silver Sonic leaving a good amount of dents from the bullets, and a cracked visor when a bullet connected with the glass eyes.

"What the hell is he doing here, anyway?!" Nutcase said as he pulled a bomb from his pocket. "I thought Sonic destroyed him years ago!"

Chip and Beatrice both arrived at the scene at the same time. Chip grinned at Beatrice, who just scowled.

"So this guy's another robot version of Sonic? Greaat." Beatrice sighed. "On the other hand, I've never fought a robot before! This'll be a great time to check the effectiveness of my new gloves!" Beatrice was now wearing red gloves, to match the rest of her outfit, but these gloves had spikes on the knuckles.

Chip nodded and sat off to the side. "I think you guys have this covered, so I'll stay over here, okay?"

Gantz thought a moment about what Nutcase said. "I do recall in Sonic Adventure 1, Eggman had copies of the original Robot Sonic's somewhere in his lab." Gantz looked to Nutcase, seeming curious. "You don't think Eggman sent this guy do you?"

CRAAAASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Silver Sonic was sent flying between the Gantz and Nutcase who quickly dodged. Metal flew between them firing missiles, "It is in my obsverances that Silver Sonic has gone wild. It is unlikely that, even if he has been sent, he is still longer taking orders."

Silver Sonic seemed to prove this very well, by crashing right next to Sonic. Instead of going straight for the Blue Hedgehog, he rocketed clean at Metal, going at excess speeds of 90 miles an hour. He was almost on Metal's hide with a powerful tackle...

POOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two powerful attacks connected with Silver's Cranium; one was from Gantz's Keyblade, the other from Climber's pick-axe. The two attacks sent Silver Sonic flying.

"If you have a problem with Metal, you'll have to deal with us first!" The Climber yelled, a determined look on his simplistic face.

The two had watched the entire scuffle, but... well naturally Sonic's first instinct was to attack. After Silver Sonic was sent flying away, Sonic took the initiative. Tails had been observent and had actually seen what was going on, but Sonic was already out before Tails could explain what he had seen. His tough body suddenly bashed into Metal and he jumped off. "Sonic, wait!" Tails said.

"Alright metalhead! I don't know how you came back, but you're not gonna get away this time," Sonic said.

Nutcase quickly ran up to Sonic, saying, "Wait Sonic, I know this will be hard for you to believe but Gantz had brought Metal back. It seems Metal wants to try to change."

Sonic looked increadiously at Nutcase, who then said, "Look, I know what you're thinking, but I gave him a chance. It's very complicated and hard to explain right now. I'm still apprehensive about it, but so far he hasn't made any wrong moves. That's gotta count for something."

"What are you talking about?" Sonic asked. So he knew Nutcase... his name said it all. "Change?"

"It is possible," Tails said. "Maybe his programming was effected in some accident of sorts. It can happen."

Nutcase looked into Sonic's disbelieving eyes and said, "Look I'm just as skeptical as you man. Considering what he intended to do during the Egg Fleet incident and all, I don't blame you for not being trusting of the buckethead. But since Gantz had found and rebuilt him, I figure that he had a good reason so I'm giving Metal a chance. So far he hasn't done anything to show he's a threat. I'm still keeping my gaurd up, but so far he seems honest for once."

Clown Man then popped into the conversation, saying, "Metal said something about some guy named Ifrit a while ago, saying he and Shadow had taken whatever that was out. Does the name Ifrit ring any bells, Sonic? If so perhaps speaking to Shadow about this might be a good idea."

Beatrice cut in at this point. "Yo, not to rain on your chat 'n' all, BUT THERE'S A f***ING BATTLE GOING ON, AND SILVER SONIC OR WHATEVER THE f*** HE'S CALLED IS ABOUT TO DESTROY THIS SHOP IF WE DON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. BITCH." She punched a nearby wall to make her point.

Chip grinned. "Hey, you guys can keep talkin'! I don't mind! More food for me anyways!"
