Personality: IT is a very philisohpical person, often wondering why he does things. He doesn't understand things like love or happiness. He feels utterly no remorse, though he can be quite friendly when he isn't killing people with his hammer.
History: IT lived in a small building. Every day, kittens would fall from a chute and he would smash them with his hammer. However, he began to question his existance, and left his house to find a happy world of color. And for a time he was skippy and happy.
He soon realized he was all alone in paradise. The denizens of this colorful world tried to cheer him up, but he didn't understand their kindness. Finally, he decided to do the only thing he knew: beat things with his hammer.
At first, IT wondered if he could beat things in this world. But, after killing hundreds, he joyfully realized that Everything Could Be Beaten and headed back to his house. There, he found a mask-wearing man with an axe whom IT hoped was a kindred spirit.
In the final page of the story, IT was dead.
