Full Name: Hiei
Nicknames: N/A
Age: ?(Some speculate him to be in his fifties or so)
Height: ?(From the Abridged Series: “He's four foot nothing!” “Yeah, with the hair.”)
Weight: ?(Pretty light.)
Gender: Male
Race: Demon
Alliance: Chaotic Neutral with very light leanings towards good
Home: The Makai
Franchise: Yu Yu Hakusho
Physical Description: Hiei's hair is pretty much a 'take that' to Vegeta. It's as if the creator was attempting to say “HA. I CAN MAKE A CHARACTER WITH THAT PARTICULAR HIAIR STYLE AND STILL MAKE HIM LOOK GOOD.” However, that's where the similarities with the aforementioned Saiyan end. Hiei's eyes are cold, almost dead. Most of the times. However, there are these... well, not exactly 'rare', moments, when his eyes change to a more... fierce, bloodthirsty look. Such as during his fight with Yuusuke, when he went full demon form.
Speaking of Hiei's eyes, he has a third, sitting right atop his forehead. It doesn't blink, which is likely the reason he wears a cloth white cloth over it. Hiei has been described to have too small fangs in his mouth, much like American Dracula. He commonly wears a dark cloak, with white fringing towards his neckline. He's not particularly tall, ranging at about '4 foot nothing', as the Abridged Series so bluntly puts it.
Weapons: His sword, which he would like to assert 'pwns' Suzu's. Well, least he will when he actually meets him.
Abilities/Powers: He has the ability to manipulate fire. He will also, through RP, come across his latent ice powers. Once he comes across these, he will have the ability to manipulate water.
Skills: He's an extremely skilled fighter, has great agility, and can move very, very, fast. To the point of appearing to teleport, or hacking this one enemy into pieces in a brief second. His people skills, however, could use a bit of work.
Personality: Hiei could be described in many, many ways. Deep inside of him, he truly cares for his sister Yukina. And this is, in fact, the driving factor in him not revealing to her their sibling-ship. However, on his exterior, and perhaps most of his interior, Hiei's rude. He seems to... okay, he really enjoys murder, when he's the one doing the murder. He doesn't particularly care for any of his teammates. Well, perhaps Kurama. But a later event from after he's pulled from canon pretty much kills all yaoi allusion. Hiei could be described as a rather calm, cold hearted person, however he's truly just a bloodthirsty demon that has, for some reason, refrained from killing Yuusuke. Probably knows the Reikai would kick his ass or something.
History: Perhaps fifty years ago, an Ice Maiden gave birth. She had two offspring. A boy with a fiery attitude and the ability to control fire, and a cool, level-headed young girl with the ability to create jewelery from here tears. This, however, was forbidden. For it was said that Ice Maidens gave birth to one off-spring, always female, always looking exactly like the mother. Unless, of course, they had the help of a male. Which was highly forbidden. It was for self-preservation, more than anything.
To touch the boy he had to be wrapped in special wards, he had no control of the fire he was emitting. A few nights later, the Maidens gathered together. The boy was wrapped in his wards, and taken to the Hyouga river. There, he was tossed into the frigid waters. However, through perhaps sheer will power, or sheer badassery, he survived.
He had quite a few misadventures, learned the ways of battle, and met his future comrades in arms – Kurama and Gouki. The first thing they did when they broke out of prison was give the Reikai another reason to toss them back into prison. Ergo, stealing King Enma's precious items. They didn't stay together for long, however. They soon separated, each with their own agenda. Kurama's was the only noble one. Hiei soon ran into the Spirit Detective by the name of Yuusuke Urameshi, however. Real idiot, thought he could defeat Hiei just because he'd dominated Gouki and was lucky enough to catch Kurama on a good day.
...he was, however, completely correct. He received a bit of aid from his annoying spirit guide friend, but actually managed to defeat Hiei. BY HITTING HIM IN HIS THIRD EYE, HOLY CRAP. Keep in mind, Hiei had at least a hundred eyes covering his body. Basically, he was now one large weakness.
He reappeared again with Kurama to help the Spirit Detective and his girlfriend save the Earth, the Spirit Guide, and Keiko. They fought their way through a labyrinth of sorts, with Hiei quickly dispatching his foe and helping Yuusuke get to Suzaku. He even, if I remember correctly, appeared with Kurama and the aforementioned girlfriend to help Yuusuke.
He had a few more misadventures, defeated impostors of Kuwabara and Yuusuke, and enlisted Yuusuke's help to save his sister, Yukina.
During Hiei's matches in the Dark Tournament, he was pretty much in God Mode all the time. As such, most of his opponent's were defeated in a few panels. He burned his hand with the, still imperfect, Dragon of the Darkness Flame, yet still managed to defeat most of his opponents. His only really important fight was against Bui, in which he was forced to use his nearly perfect Dragon of the Darkness Flame...
...and then won, in a few pages.
All was calm up until a few weeks later, when Urameshi up and disappeared, unannounced. Botan, the Spirit Guide, informed him and the others that Koenma had called a meeting. Apparently Urameshi disappearing was a bad thing. Had the world gone insane?
However, he showed up anyway, if only because he had nothing better to do. Everyone seemed rather irate, Kuwabara because Yuusuke hadn't put up a fight, and without Yuusuke, there was no bromance. Keiko because she, Hiei assumed, was in heat, and her boyfriend was gone. Botan wasn't exactly 'irate', but more worried for Yuusuke. And Koenma ratned about his paperwork. Really. The being had gotten lazy. Not being able to handle a little paperwork without whining. But that was neither here nor there.
They eventually agreed that Botan should go, if only so she could stop bugging everyone. However, Kuwabara's ended bromance apparently effected him more than everyone had assumed. He ran through the portal with a cry of 'URAMESHIIII'. Hiei facepalmed. Soon, he pulled Kurama aside to inform him that he should go after the idiot. He wouldn't say it, but he was actually rather worried about Yuusuke.
More time passed. The Spirit Guide continuously bugged him, with her “Hiei, go save them!”, “Hiei, it would be BAD if they died!”, “Hiei, the Reikai could send you back to prison at any moment if you don't agree!” Dear lord.
He, of course, went through the portal that Koenma forced open after that last one. It wasn't because he was afraid of prison, oh no. It's because she was BLOODY ANNOYING.
He was saved from being nearly cut by the portal by being five foot nothing.
