Ruca ran into the scene.
"Wow... what is that thing!?" Ruca asked himself.
He then noticed Waddle Dee battling Marx.
"Maybe I can help..." Ruca said as he drew his broadsword and started casting a spell.
"Enhance this blade's might... Sharpness!" Ruca called out as he raised Waddle Dee's attack.

"HEY NO FAIR!!!!" Marx quickly warped out of the way of Waddle Dee's attack, and was now high in the air. Firing two more bomb arrows, he aimed at Terra and Ruca. "Stop ganging up on ME DAMMIT!!!!!!!"

Terra noticed the bomb arrow fly at her and put up a shield to block it. The force from the explosion hurt her some, but she was mostly unscathed. "I won't let you get away with it," she said with forced determination as she began to charge up a Fire 3 spell.

"Thank you, friends!" Waddle Dee called to Terra and Ruca. He quickly sped up to Marx again as he was focused on bomb arrowing the two, and drilled Marx in the stomach with the parasol.

Balrog soon somehow found his way to get upright again and looked around at what was happening, though unsure who was the enemy.

Ruca practically screamed when the bomb arrow was approaching, but it exploded on him.
"That hurt!" Ruca cried. But he didn't start crying tears just yet. He rushed up to Marx and slashed him with his sword. He then started to cast another spell.
"O countless stars that wander the heavens, rain down and glorify the land..." Ruca chanted.

Marx took the blow about as well as anyone expected, before he warped away quickly. When he reappeared on the otherside of the battlefield, he looked absolutely PISSED. "THAT'S IT!!!!!! I'M GONNA TEACH YOU SOME MANNERS!!!!!!!!!!"
He took a deep inhale and opened his mouth focusing his energy out of his mouth!!!...
All that came out was a pathetic exhale...
... ... ... ... ...
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
Every last person in the arena sweatdropped at this...
"GOD I miss my pwning 'Mouth Beam'..." He quickly warped away before Waddle Dee could get another attack in.
[He's still here in the arena, so don't worry. Remember, he can only warp short distances away.]

Waddle Dee had been preparing another attack, so the warp caught him off guard. "Fudge! Then that means... everyone! Marx will attack with his cutters next! Be careful!"
He prepared to guard and dodge out of the way of the flying cutter attacks.
(OOC: In the games, Marx's attacks always followed a distinct pattern, so Waddle Dee's preparing for what he believes will be the next in the pattern.)

"Maybe I'll catch him off gaurd with this..." Ruca said as he finished casting a spell.
"Meteor Storm!!!!!" Ruca shouted as he called forth several meteors aiming towards Marx.

Marx saw the meteors coming from the sky. Thinking quickly, he warped away again.
Hardly anyone could ask where he had gone this time, before they heard multiple explosions in the air. Looking up, they were treated with the sight of one of the meteors that had been aiming for Marx... Apparently, the little nightmare had used Bomb arrows to knock it off course, making them aim at something different... Them.
As they did, Marx laughed like a total psychopath, as he stood atop one of the meteors, arms-crossed.
[OOC: Kudos to whomever can guess which Atlus character I'm referencing! Here's a hint, this comes from a PS2 game that starts with 'Dis'.]

Terra's eyes widened, noticing the meteor come for them. She quickly ran in front and cast a spell that caused a magical barrier to rise. As the meteor struck, however, Terra began to scream at the mental pain it was causing for her to hold the shield up while the meteor was trying to break through. However, as her form began to change from that of a human to that of something else, an esper of sorts, the shield began to get slowly stronger.

((Disgaea isn't technically an Atlus game, it was just published by them here in the US because Nippon Ichi wasn't able to do it. *Atlus nerd*  )) Waddle Dee dodged and flipped out of the way of the meteors, before jumping on them and using them as platforms to reach Marx. A bloodthirsty expression crossed Waddle Dee's face before he brought the parasol drilling into Marx's meteor, intending to break it under the jester. "Your fight is with me, Marx!" Waddle Dee yelled. |

Ruca panicked, as his own spell was used against him now.
"Ahh!! What should I do!?" Ruca panicked as he ran around, broadsword in hand.
Clearly, the young boy was lost. Out of panic, he did one hard slash at Marx with his broadsword.

Fox preformed a set of hand signs and pointed at Marx. "Fire pulse." he clenched his fist a fire ball erupted from his hand flying at Marx.
