Alright, before anyone goes screaming bloody murder over this, I did talk to Felix before I went to apply for Minato. He agreed that I could have Minato, since he's been having trouble RPing him anyways.
So just clearing that up.
Full Name: Minato Arisato
Nicknames: The Blue-Haired Boy
Age: 17
Height: 170 cm
Weight: ?
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alliance: Good
Home: Tatsumi Port Island, Japan
Franchise: Persona 3
Physical Description: Minato is your average looking Japanese teenager. He has blue hair that covers his right eye, which normally would be odd, but this was Japan. His eyes, on the other hand, are grey. Most of the time, he wears his school uniform, which consists of a black jacket with a red checkered logo on the left breast over a white long sleeved shirt, black pants, and black leather shoes. Around his neck, Minato wears his MP3 player, which is attached to a pair of headphones Minato owns. The headphones are an odd model not often seen worn by people, but not unheard of.
Weapons: Minato has several different kinds of weapons he can use, but he prefers short swords. He also has a gun-like object that actually can’t be used as a weapon, but instead is used to summon his Personae.
Abilities/Powers: Minato has the ability to summon a Persona, which is a physical representation of his psyche. However, unlike most Persona users, he has the Wild Card ability, which allows him to summon many personae, instead of just the one he had from the beginning. His starting persona is Orpheus, while his Ultimate Persona is Messiah.
Skills: Minato has skill with various different weapons, being able to use swords, long swords, bows, boxing gloves, spears, axes, and hammers with ease. He’s no good with daggers and guns, though.
Personality: Minato is a quiet individual (though he’s opened up a LOT lately; granted, he practically had to in order to advance his Social Links) who spends a lot of time listening to his MP3 player to pass the time by. He deeply cares for his friends, though, and so help you if you get on his bad side. You will be punished. Whether that punishment requires Persona use or not depends on what you did.
History: ((NOTE: ATOMIC PLOT SPOILERS HERE! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD IF YOU DON’T WANT THE GAME TO BE SPOILED FOR YOU DON’T READ THIS SECTION SERIOUSLY IT’S THAT EASY))
When Minato was seven, his parents died in a horrific car crash that was so traumatic for him, he lost all memory of that incident and had to go live with family outside of Port Island. After ten years, he managed to get into a private school back at Port Island, and was to move into some dorms back in Port Island. On the night of Minato’s arrival, at midnight, the world completely changed. He later learned this was because of what was called the Dark Hour, a hidden hour of the day that occurred at midnight and was inhabited by shadows. During the Dark Hour, water would turn to blood, the sky would turn green, and people who couldn’t summon a Persona would turn into coffins.
One night, Minato was awakened by one of his dormmates, Yukari Takeba, as shadows attacked the dorm they lived in. After being chased up to the roof of the dorm, Minato and Yukari were cornered by several shadows, including an Arcana Shadow of the Fool arcana. Yukari was unable to put the literal gun to her head to summon her persona, so Minato, who had no idea what the bloody hell was going on, did it instead, summoning his own persona, Orpheus. However, after he summoned Orpheus, another, more horrible Persona tore its way right out of Orpheus’ body, a Persona called Thanatos. Thanatos proceeded to lay waste to the shadow, while causing Minato horrible pain. Once the shadow was defeated, Thanatos disappeared, and Minato collapsed. He didn’t wake up until a week after the incident. After the incident, Minato learned of the Shadows and the Dark Hour, and joined up with SEES and became the exploration leader, due to his ability to use several different personaes.
After many months, the group defeats all of the Arcana Shadows, and discovers that Ikutsuki, the chairman of their little group, revealed that their killing of the Arcana Shadows was to help usher in the new apocalypse. The group was able to stop Ikutsuki’s plan but not without the death of Mitsuru’s father. Soon after this, though, Minato befriended a transfer student named Ryoji Mochizuki. After being friends with him for a couple months, Ryoji awakened to his true identity of the Avatar of Nyx, and revealed the full truth about himself, the Arcana Shadows, and Minato’s past. Ten years ago, the Kirijo Group gathered together a large amount of shadows to bring about the end of the world, known as the Fall. There was an explosion, and the shadows gathered all scattered. The most dangerous of them, Death, was pursued by an Anti Shadow Weapon named Aigis, who later joined SEES. During the fight between Aigis and Death, Minato, who due to his Potential to summon a Persona, was active during the Dark Hour, witnessed the fight. His parents had been killed during the battle, which was not lending in Aigis’ favor. Desperate, she sealed Death inside Minato. The memories of what happened that day were lost due to damage to Aigis’ circuits and due to repressing of that memory on Minato’s part. Death inside Minato caused him to get visions of a boy who didn’t exist, named Pharos, who in fact was Death communicating with Minato. Pharos left Minato’s body after the twelve Arcana Shadows were defeated, and joined with the other Arcana Shadows. Because of his time spent in Minato’s body, Ryoji had managed to develop a human personality, which allowed him to plead SEES to forget their time together so when the Fall comes, they’d be happy. Minato refused, and the group collectively decided to fight Nyx when the day came.
The day of the Fall finally came, and the group ascended to the top of Tartarus, where they found what Ryoji had become: a monstrous version of himself that would fight the group to the death. Despite all odds, the group managed to defeat the Nyx Avatar, but not Nyx itself, and they were powerless before the power of Death itself. At that time, Minato stepped forward, and floated into Nyx’s true form: the moon. Inside the moon, with the support of everyone Minato became friends with over the past year, Minato was able to use the power of the World Arcana to seal Nyx away at the cost of his soul, it becoming a wall between Nyx and the rest of the world. Despite this, he was able to hang onto life for another few months in order to keep a promise, and after doing so, he died in the arms of someone who very deeply loved him.
A few years after he became the seal between Nyx and the world, Elizabeth, one of the attendants of the Velvet Room, found a way to rescue Minato from the fate of being the seal, by taking the place of the seal herself. However, Minato ended up being thrown into the Dimensional Island instead of his real home dimension.
Other: I’m going to try to stay with what canon Felix has already established for Minato on Dimensional Clash to my best ability, though because I wasn’t around for most of Felix’s RPs with Minato, there’s bound to be plot holes. So I’m apologizing in advance.
