I came back for you, polymorphy! =D Yep, it appears Friday has become Canon Character Application Day for me.
Full Name: William Dunbar's clone
Nicknames:
Age: 15
Height: Same as William
Weight: Same as William
Gender: Male
Race: Polymorphic specter in the form of a human
Alliance: Good
Home: Kadic Academy, Boulogne-Billancourt, Paris, France
Franchise: Code Lyoko
Physical Description: Same as William on Earth; he's his clone.
Weapons: None (he wouldn't even know how to use them)
Abilities/Powers: All the standard powers of a digital specter, though he rarely ever utilizes them.
Skills: ...does cluelessness count as a skill?
Personality: William's clone was programmed to take the place of the genuine article while he was lost in the Internet; he's supposed to be like William. Unfortunately, the clone is too unfamiliar with human life to know how to act, and this ignorance often comes out in acts of stupidity. The clone understands logic to some degree and shows full awareness of what he is and why he was made. But he more often than not has trouble understanding figures of speech and some day-to-day activities. More often than not, a member of the Lyoko gang nearby will have to swoop in for damage control when the clone makes a blunder.
History: After a week from XANA possessing William Dunbar and turning him into his puppet on Lyoko, the faculty started to become suspicious of his absence from class, despite the gang's attempts to cover it up. In an attempt to work double-time on bringing William back without getting busted for skipping gym class, Jeremie Belpois managed to activate a tower and create a polymorphic specter of himself to cover for him at school. Unfortunately, with William's help on Lyoko, XANA was able to take over Jeremie's tower and turn the specter against the gang.
After XANA's attack with Jeremie's specter had been foiled, the gang ultimately decided to use the same trick to replace William. Only this time, Jeremie was careful to add a considerable amount of defense to his tower to prevent XANA taking over. The only problem with the clone was that he came out acting stupid, so the gang had to constantly cover up his lack of understanding of the world.
At one point, Jeremie had accidentally bugged up the clone's programming while working on one of his programs he hoped would free the real William. As a result, XANA was able to bypass Jeremie's defenses and take over the clone. In the end, Jeremie was able to fix everything and take back control of his tower, reversing time to make sure no one remembered the Xanafied clone's attack.
At one point, Jeremie tried modifying the clone's intelligence with the help of Franz Hopper's old notes. Unfortunately, the clone started learning things he shouldn't, as he was still too naive to know not to do certain things. At one point, he got in trouble with the gym teacher, Jim Morales, and junior reporters Milly and Tamiya overheard the Lyoko Warriors discussing the clone. When the two went to interview the clone, Milly was able to trick him into admitting what he really was and taking them to the factory.
When Milly, Tamiya, and William's clone reached the lab, they found the real William attacking Jeremie and the supercomputer. While the clone battled his possessed lookalike, an injured Jeremie sent Tamiya upstairs to call the Lyoko Warriors back from a Replika-destroying mission. Some time into the fight, William managed to dodge his clone and traveled to the upper level of the lab where he began messing with the computer's software. The worst he managed to do was shut off the computer's cooling system, and the supercomputer began to overheat. Milly and the clone tried to stop him, but William quickly deactivated the clone tower from the lab interface, destroying the clone and frightening Milly into submission.
In the end, the Lyoko Warriors returned to fend William off, and Aelita was able to restart the cooling system just in time. Jeremie was able to restore William's clone. Before he did, though, he and his friends gave Milly and Tamiya an exclusive interview on their fight against XANA... and then wiped their memories with a RTTP.
Other than these things, the gang had no major issues with the clone. No one ever seemed to suspect he wasn't William except Principal Delmas' daughter, Sissi, but no one believed her. Once the gang manages to free William, the clone will be deactivated so William can take his place again at Kadic.

(NOTE: Since William's clone looks exactly like the real thing, his image reference can be used for William on Earth.)
Sadly, I still can't start using my Code Lyoko characters until all the main good guys are applied for.
Oh, well. I can wait.
