Minato finished his glower at Himitsu and storm out. She looked away, not happy about the knowledge that she was right. Or the things that were likely going to happen to Kaini over the next few days. He put such stock in his God... He wouldn't save the teenager.
The tighter the grip... the more slip through ones' fingers...
She looked up, taking little comfort in Palette's thumbs up. The Lost didn't remember the events while they were out, but she intended on informing Keiichi of what had occurred after the group left. Maybe it would help her tell him for real.
Atem had looked angered, but his expression had shifted to resignation. He walked forward and put his hand on Yuugi's shoulder, "...she's right," he looked pained at the almost accusitory look Yuugi gave him. He shook his head, "I'm not saying I like it, but she's right. He came here to kill K1, and wouldn't have hesitated to kill us all to do it. And probably wouldn't have had much issue with it.... dammit, she's right."
Himitsu looked towards Souji and nodded. The fate of Keiichi's homeworld directly depended on the result of all of this. She could see the branching routes... with Kaini's nature, only one route seemed to remain open. Atem and Yuugi headed out after Souji, and Himitsu collapsed onto a chest. After the teens left she turned to Palette, "...this is never easy. If anyone ever tells you you'll get used to hardships by living through them, they are lying."
