Atem had launched forward at the same time Kanji had, perhaps moments earlier. He had been the one who had suggested it. And he did have the sword. Yuugi winced at the few glimpses he caught of the action, and decided to turn away. He didn't think he could have been quite as brutal as the group was. He had managed to stabilize his standing position during the time that had passed.
The Shadow finally gave out, probably as much out of self defense as anything else. It vanished into that familiar Shadow miasma, although with a bit more of a red tint to the edges than usual. Atem pulled back rather quickly, his breathing heavy. He glanced back towards Yuugi before anyone else even had a chance to react and gave a thumbs up. Yuugi gave a small smile at Atem's confident grin.
Atem's expression changed as the other group fell back. He tried to give a supportive look to Minato, but one could tell Atem was worried. Odds were this was the last Shadow, which meant Minato was going to go forward with his plan soon. He supported the blue haired teenager if it came to that, but he was still clinging to the hope that there was another option. Not long after, Minato had said. So how much time did this world have...?

Minato gave a small smile. This was the last one... while it'd probably be best to make the seal today, it didn't feel right for him to go run off and kill himself before making sure that K1 and Naoya were alright. And there was still Kaini to worry about. He didn't want to leave Kaini with Belphegor.
He turned to Souji, who gave a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness. Atem, if it weren't for you inflicting fear on that Shadow, we probably would have spent way longer fighting it. Thanks."
At that moment, the Victory Cry skill kicked in, healing and re-envigorating everyone. Minato recognized the feeling. Victory Cry was a kickass skill.
Minato looked around at the nearby coffins. "Hey... everyone with Apathy Syndrome should be waking up now... we should go check on K1 and Naoya once the Hour's over."

Atem looked surprised at the returning energy, but Yuugi seemed nearly floored. He looked around and noticed that Souji's group seemed unphased, but invigorated. It meant it had probably come from one of them. Atem caught Temu's card as it floated down to him and shook his head, "It was a gamble, I didn't think it would work."
Yuugi seemed happy for a moment before looking depressed again. It qualified as a mood swing, "...that means we'll have to tell him about Kurosawa-san."
Atem's expression turned serious as well, "I don't know how he'll take it. They didn't part on the best of terms and K1 has been avoiding the topic like a plague. He knows he might have to kill him. While I don't think he'd decide to do that on his own...."
It was completely clear to the entire group what Atem was getting at. Keiichi might not decide he needed to kill his twin, but Naoya?
That is assuming he is still alive. I hate feeling this helpless... Atem averted his gaze from the group.
"We have to do it though. Motomeru-san might tell him, but... I'm worried about his reaction to being in the shop. He really doesn't like it there. We should go now. People might react bad if we suddenly appear out of thin air."

Souji looked around. Atem was right. They were right in the middle of a large crowd, and while the crowd was spread rather thin, it didn't mean that they weren't in a crowd. "Right. Let's go."
He dematerialized his Persona, as did Naoto and Kanji. They started walking away, pretty much making a beeline for the Plaza.
Minato looked to Atem before following after.

Atem nodded at Yuugi's last words. K1, understandably, pretty much hated that shop. And he didn't trust Naoya's reaction towards the events that had unfolded. He made sure Yuugi was coming with him before trotting a bit to catch up with the group.
