"Oh." Coop could tell from K1's expression that it definetely didn't go well. He said to both of them, "I'm not too good at pick-me-up speeches. But, at least you tried to do something, right? That's all anyone can ask of you. I mean unless you're wearing tights and have an S on your chest, people can't expect you to be the perfect hero."

Atem didn't feel like arguing the point. It had been their fault. Its not like they had rushed into a burning building they just happened to be walking by. But he was grateful Coop hadn't connected the sudden exit that morning to the events now.
"I need to be by myself for a while," Atem said as he began to walk off. By "myself" it was more him and his partner, but he didn't say that. Coop didn't know about the two minds in one body situation, after all.
The voice "Yuugi" had was the same the teen had used when Coop had first met him. And there was another difference. It seemed more authorative in the self pronoun department. The full weight and understanding of this would really only be apparent to the Japanese, but something about his "I" usage seemed off to this morning...
(OOC: In the manga and anime, Yuugi uses the weaker and more common "boku" pronoun. Atem uses the stronger "ore" pronoun. Both are masculine pronouns, but they are a good indication as to how a character views themselves. This unfortunately does not translate well.)

K1 stood up too, and took a look at Atem before walking away himself, this time towards the hotel. He needed to be alone for a bit too.
"I'm heading back to the hotel. I'll see you guys later, I guess," K1 said in a low voice.

Coop looked at K1 and Yuugi as they walked away. They must really be upset about whatever happened. He then started to walk off as well, thinking what the two of them needed is some time to cool off.
"Maybe I'll grab some lunch and see if they feel better afterwards," He said.
