The doll turned around to face Yuugi, the mad look on his face there again. "I am an automaton who cannot serve his master correctly. He doesn't love me anymore, and he'll hate me even more now that I broke his key. He doesn't even look at me anymore. I have to get his attention... Maybe he'll pay attention to me if I bring him some ice art... after all, he didn't like my lightning art..." He then pointed the key at Yuugi, and fired a bolt of freezing energy at the teen...
Which then reflected back at him because a certain trap card activated at that moment. The bolt hit the already injured arm, freezing it to the core.

And it hadn't activated at Yuugi's command, either. Yuugi had held up his arms, still not used to the whole "real battle" effect the island had on the cards. Atem had been forced to surface and quickly activate the trap. Yuugi looked up from his arms, only just then realizing Atem had taken over. Atem looked rather pissed right now. Yuugi had been offering kindness to this "automation" as it had called itself, and it repayed his partner by attacking him. Atem drew a card and gave on of his confident yet angry smirks. Three monsters on the field... He threw a card into the area and it "appeared" as an unseen presence. He then pulled the card to the side, aware of but ignoring the pain in his right hand, "Whatever you think of your creator is not important! If he would approve of your killing others out of some misguided attachment to him or would disapprove of you for something you had no control over, then he is not worth giving loyalty to!" He held up the card he had removed from his hand, the back facing Eriol. Yuugi's eyes widened, "I won't attack this turn, but I guarantee it that you will not survive if I choose to summon the monster in my hand." Yuugi's eyes were wide because the card his other self held in his hand was red and had the words, "Oshirisu no Tenkuuryuu" on it, which translated to "Osiris the Sky Dragon". Even if Eriol attacked one of the monsters on the field, there would still be enough to do a proper summon of the card. And if he played his cards right, the creature would have an attack and defense of a whopping 6000 points each. Yuugi's eyes flicked to the doll. They showed that Yuugi believed his other self to be dead serious about taking this action. While Eriol would not know what action that was, it was quite apparent it would not bode well... (OOC: Osiris is a card whose power is directly connected to the # of cards in the player's hand. I've got the hand set up to allow 6000 attack and defense, and the power shifts based on how many cards the player has in their hand, so the turn after summoning Osiris could have 7000 attack and defense. Here's the card, although its the English version and the rules aren't directly on the card: yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Slifer_the_Sky_Dragon)

Eriol looked at Atem, a guilty look on his face, or, at least, what passed as one. "He doesn't like me. He doesn't even speak to me. All he cared about was Yui. I just want him to acknowledge I exist. That's all."
He gave a mad smile. "If that means I have to kill you all to get him to even look at me again, I'll do it." He lifted his key to attack once more.
"I don't know how I'll kill the cowardly human though since he's the ghost now, though. I guess I'll figure something out," Eriol said, his head rolling to the side once more. He hadn't done maitenance in a while, and was breaking down. He needed to get away from there and fix his joints, but right now, he had no chance to.

"The other me, don't! He can't defend himself!"
Atem had drawn a card and paused at Yuugi's insistence he not attack. He turned to his partner, "I will not risk some move getting rid of this option. If you insist, I will hold off on allowing it to attack."
Yuugi nodded, understanding where his other self was coming from. Atem lifted a card into the air, flipping it around as he did so. The red dragon-like creature on the front was revealed as the two gadgets and one of the unseen presences turned into light and shot towards the card, which shot into the air with a black thundercloud instantly summoned.
The power given off by the red dragon creature that had been pictured on the front of the card could likely be felt for miles. Where it began and ended was unclear, but it was quite long. The only visible part was the head and the tip of the tail, but it seemed to be coiled some above the clouds. It looked down at Eriol. If the doll was capable of being impressed by power, it would very likely now be.
"I won't attack unless you force me to," Atem said.
"Doll-san, are you absolutely sure your Creator is alive? Maybe he wanted to speak to you, but couldn't," Yuugi looked to be full of sympathy, to a level Atem seemed incapable of possessing, "And if he'd dead, wouldn't you want to honor his memory?"
Atem stood there, unflinching. He agreed with Yuugi, even though his partner was taking the softer route to get the explanation across.

Far away in Void City, in an arcade, K1 was sitting around, watching someone play DDR. He was never rather good at these games, but he always did enjoy watching someone else play it.
And then, a wave of energy moved through the arcade. Only those with somewhat strong spiritual senses could feel it, but it caused quite a few heads to turn, including K1's.
Upon running outside, K1 was greeted with what appeared to be a massive red dragon in the distance. And it was at the hospital.
Without thinking, he pulled out his COMP and summoned his demons once again, and started running towards the hospital.
-------------
"Gyaaaaaaaaaaah!" Eriol fell backwards, and tried to run away. "No! Not a dragon! Get it away!"
At that moment, the clockwork in his left leg had finally had enough abuse and broke, sending the doll tumbling to the ground. He looked between where he was and where Kerro lay, and for once, there was fear on the doll's face. This dragon was massive. It was a giant dragon, and it was going to kill him. And then it was going to kill Kerro again too.
"No! I've waited five hundred years! I can't die now! Please, no!" Eriol screamed. Of all the things a clockwork doll could face, a dragon was the worst, and Eriol knew it. That was why Yui was afraid of them, though he'd never met any besides clockwork ones in their own land.

Atem actually hesitated. He looked towards his partner. Yuugi's eyes were full of concern. He's seen how intimidated people became over the Three Phantom Gods, but this was above and beyond the usual. Atem would have let him surface to handle the situation, but with Osiris active that would have been asking the god to kill him. Only he, as the Pharoah, could control the God Cards. And while if he had been on his own would not have hesitated to destroy the doll, he had to keep his other self in mind.
"He looks in pain..." Yuugi said.
"I'm not going to consider this over just yet," Atem took a few steps forward as he drew a card. Osiris lay in wait, the energy causing lightning to crackle around it, "You said five hundred years, correct? No human lives that long on their own. What my partner said is correct, your Creator is likely dead."
By now, Osiris' power levels had reached the arbitrary number of 7000 atk/def. It could easily destroy everything in its path right now. It rolled in and out of the clouds, waiting its "Master's" command.

Eriol was still staring up at the dragon in the sky, unable to form words. It was impossible to tell if his voice box was just acting up again or if he was really too astonished to say anything. But one thing was for sure: he was practically helpless, and was probably gonna end up dead.
((OOC: But he won't, because I have to use him for a plot with Gantz. D: Oh well.))
--------------
As K1 came closer to the burned out hospital, he was able to tell that it was definitely Yuugi (or Atem) commanding that dragon. Secondly, while that thing wasn't that card he was going to use earlier that day, it was extremely similar to the card from before in terms of the energy it was putting off. And thirdly, whoever was in control right now was fighting that doll from before.
"Yuugi!" K1 yelled as he got closer. "What are you doing!?"

(OOC: And assume Atem/Yuugi have been using the honorifics the whole time. XD)
This was no good. The doll couldn't put up a fight. And as much as Atem despised an opponent giving up when the fight was still going on, he felt himself developing an almost pity for the automation as well. He drew a card and scowled when he heard K1's voice.
"K1-kun?" Atem hadn't heard the COMP beep, which meant Osiris had made enough of a "statement" to alert the island to its presence. Or K1 had been nearby. Being distracted was not much of an issue, Osiris would prevent any attack from reaching the Pharoah. And if Eriol made that mistake, the best fate he could hope for was becoming a pile of wooden shrapnel.
"The other me, should't we stop this? I don't think he can stand up..."
Atem looked at his partner. With K1 there and the state Eriol was in, the danger had dropped to an almost nonexistant level. He looked at the doll again, "If you try to harm me or my partner again, I can summon Osiris again. Remember that."
Atem lifted a card up a bit and it vanished with no effect on the "field". He had in fact sent it to the graveyard from having too many cards in his hand.
(OOC: Pausing here so K1 can react.)

Eriol nodded nervously at Atem, and to show that he wouldn't attack, shoved the silvery key away after much hesitation. K1 watched the doll for a few seconds before running over to Atem.
"Where did the dragon come from? What is the dragon!? And why did you summon it?!" K1 asked. Three questions. Hopefully, three good answers.
While K1 was talking to Atem, Eriol was doing his best to make his way over to Kerro. "We can't be alone, can we? Hahahahahhah... no, that's impossible. Even if he hated me, the Creator can't be dead. He couldn't be..." Eriol mumbled to himself.

Atem sighed and willed the cards to vanish. Osiris was the last one to leave, in series of sparks, the entire cloud vanishing into a point of light along with the god before Atem's deckpouch became full again.
"It came from my cards. Along with Obelisk and Ra, it is a member of one of a kind cards known as the Three Phantom Gods, or 'God Cards'. I summoned it to protect myself against that," Atem pointed to Eriol. The key lay where the doll had dropped it and the doll had managed to bring itself half way to Kerro by now, "I suggest we go now, and leave that doll to its own mind."
Without waiting for a response, Atem had begun to walk off. He had no intention of going back into the puzzle until they were a ways away from the battlesite. While he was well aware the doll was beyond frightened at this point, he had begun to realize how offbalance it was. It would not have been unreasonable for it to "forget" the threat Atem had made. And quite frankly, summoning even one of the gods was not an easy task.

"God cards." K1 repeated. He didn't like the sound of that, but he had no choice but to go along with this. He nodded, and followed after Atem. For now, the best thing to do would be to go back to the hotel, he supposed. It had been a long day.
------------
Once Eriol had made it over to Kerro, he looked over his brother, and then at his own broken and battered body. "I'm sorry brother, but I can't make make myself a new body at the moment. I lost my hand earlier. But..."
He looked over the dead doll. "You're stronger than me. If I had your body, I wouldn't have to fix myself all of the time. So, if you don't mind..."
The living doll carefully used his remaining hand to pull off Kerro's hand, and then place it on his own wrist. The mythril that connected Kerro's joints attached to Eriol's wrist, and created a sort of artifical one. Most importantly, it worked so much better than his own. And now he had two working hands. Now, it was time to do repairs.
