"They want her to suffer and to die. Shes a threat to them is my belief. From what I've learned in the time I've been with her, shes the first elemental born to be not full elemental and live. They don't know whats shes capable of." Tengu shrugged his little shoulders and nuzzled Demon some more.

"They wont do anything to drastic untill she goes back. Hell Blaine had he perfect oppertunity to take her out the last itme he had a message for her. But he didn't take it, and let her suffer the three months it took her to recover."

Demon only blinked, clearly not taking notice of what was happening aroun dher.

[night sky]

FOx growled his eye's becoming the soulless back of his berserk state showing how mad he was. "I should be saying something like 'let them come i'l take them, they will fall.' but i know better, i don't know much about what i'm up against, but Demon needs someone to stand by her, me."

[demon]

Tengu nodded curling up against Demons neck.

"Your up agaist, twelve of her brothers, some worse then some better then Blaine and her father. Not including other family and those who follow her father. You picked one hell of a fight. you just have to make sure you live that long. Before you ask how I know, Demon talks to her self when deeply concentrating, like when shes workimg on me." He gave A wide toothed grin.

[night sky]

"I know, in this case, i can't hold back, it'll take every thing i have but i will weather this storm. and show them that just because i'm a 'mongrel' doesn't mean they can take me lightly. and who knows maybe i'll have help." Fox winked.

[demon]

Tengu just shook his head, jumping a little when demons head moved so it was resting on Fox. He also looked weird when she muttered "...king gaurdians, can't...stay..outa.........business."

"She's an odd one, don't you think Fox?"

[night sky]

"Yeah she is, i figured that out long ago, though she's right guardians don't stay out of the business of thoughs in trouble, i'm not doing this as a guardian, i'm doing this as a friend." fox looked down at demon, concern in his eye's as they returned to normal.

[demon]

"She'll be fine I think. This happened the last time too. Too much has happened too fast, its kinda like her way of dealing with the stress. Give her some time and she'll be back to her evil, sadistic self." Tengu settled back down closeing his silver eyes.

[night sky]

"Still i'll wait and let her hopefully be comforted by my presence." Fox responded his gaze turning to the sky.

(Time Skip)

Demon blinked, her eyes extremly dry. She was slightly startled by a snore. Looking up she seen Foxs head was tilted down and his eyes were closed, clearly in REM sleep. His arms were holding her tightly to him. She took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. Slipped from his arms with the breath out. Tengu fell and landed in Foxs lap.

She strertched poping her back and shoulders. She removed her coat and placed it over Foxs shoulders as he slept and walked down to the river. A bath would be soo nice.

Demon damned a small part of the river, stripped off her over shirt and pants and dived into the water.

[night sky]

The splash awakened fox. His eye's blinking away sleep. Looking around he noticed Demon was in his arms hen he noiced the coat over his shoulders. "Demon?" He asked picking tengu up in his arms looking around spotting the over shirt Demon had set down and her pants figuring that she must be takeing a swim.

Demon surfaced, brushing Her wet hair out of her eyes. She floated on her back, sheilding her eyes with an arm, well aware that Fox had woken up. Not that she cared any, as she figured if he had the half of a brain she thought he did he wouldn't move to much from his spot. But to Answer him, jsut in case he didn't have that half a brain she said loud enough for him to hear her "Come any closer and your ass is BBQ." Demon chuckled when Tengu let out a yiping laugh.

"Ok." Fox responded simply, turning his gaze back the stars absentmindedly petting tengu who was still in his arms."How are you feeling?" He asked demon.

[demon]

She made no answer at first getting out of the water and grabing her clothes. After she let the river return to it natural flow she pulled her shirt and pants on and walked back up to Fox.

"As ok as I normaly am Fox." She plucked her caot from his shoulders and began walking away. Tengu leaped from Foxs arms and on to Demons shoulder.

"Whats that on your neck Demon?" The little fox asked with a characteristic tilt of his head.

"Hmm? Oh a scar." Tengu dropped from her shoulder with a thump then ran after her, throwing a bewildered look at Fox.

"But you never scar! Never Ever!"

Demon stopped and looked at the fox.

"I wanted this one. Now go make yourself usefull and find something that can be used as a pot, perferably something that can also be eaten. I'm hungery and feel like cooking."

[night sky]

"ok." fox responded doing a spell and pulling a pot out of no where. "I'll be back in a bit." he stated his cloak materialized from no where. before dissolving into dust upon the wind.

Demon blinked and Tengu snickered.

"Then then. Don't think your out of chores just Becasue Fox got the pot Tengu."

The little Foxs head fell and he took off to leaving Demon standing by her self. She shrugged and set about fixing up a spot to cook.

"Finaly time alone."

She started humming.
