Full Name: Tazewell Simmons
Nicknames: Taz
Age: 28
Height: 5’ 9”
Weight: 137 lbs
Gender: Male
Race: Peacock-Wolf Anthro
Alliance: Neutral
Home: Earth?
Franchise: The Continuing Saga of Tree, Todd, and Snowy (original story)
Physical Description: As an anthro, or anthropomorph, Taz has a humanlike body structure with the attributes of an animal, in this case, a peacock AND a wolf because of his split species parentage. He has a slender physique, such that he looks younger than he is, though he is definitely at the correct height. His entire body is covered in blue feathers that resemble fur to some extent, but clearly are feathers if you look closely at them, just extremely soft and flexible. He has hands, but he also has wings on the undersides of his arms. The feathers on them will extend out so that they actually look like wings more when his arms straighten out. Taz can’t fly with them, though, as his body’s not designed for flight. He doesn’t have a beak, but instead a wolf’s nose and a mouth. He has a long peacock tail that falls in the shape of a wolf’s tail, and moves much like one. It’s fairly glittery. His hair is long and green. He doesn’t bother to cut it, so his bangs extend all the way over his eyes, covering them completely. His eyes (if you ever see them), are a piercing blue color, and it’s been said that they’re really scary to look at. He has talons like a bird as well on his feet. For clothing, he’ll usually wear a white polo with a Pac-Man icon on the left breast and brown pants.
Weapons: Taz doesn’t use weapons, but if you had to give him one, his own feet are as much weapons as they are parts of his body. His combination of wolf and bird DNA has given him powerful sharp talons that can easily rip into flesh.
Abilities/Powers: Taz has super-strength, specifically in his legs. His kicks are stronger than a normal person’s, he can jump higher than a normal person, and he can run faster than a normal person. This energy has to come from somewhere, though; he has to consume 3000 calories a day (instead of 2000) to both feed his bird metabolism and keep him energized enough to use his abilities.
Skills: Taz is VERY organized. It’s a given, considering he runs a library.
Personality: Taz has been referred to as suave, persuasive, and on the surface, a nice person. However, he has a somewhat mocking tone in everything he says, he loves to use sarcasm, and somehow, him talking just makes you want to rip out his windpipe and feed it to the wolves. He also has anger issues; in the past, his anger got ahead of him and he did very rash things. He’s not unintelligent, in fact he’s rather smart, but his anger may get ahead of him. He has a sadistic streak as well; he takes pleasure in killing his targets. He also doesn’t care much for humanity in general, which is why he identifies so much with Flamel.
History: Let’s start with Taz’s parents. Taz’s dad was a wolf anthro, his mom a peacock anthro. They fell in love, and had a weird hybrid kid together (best not to think about this one too hard…), and then started falling out of love. Taz’s home life was filled with yelling. Finally, he couldn’t take it much longer, and when he turned 13, killed his father, pretty much broke his mother’s mind, and then ran off to join a bounty hunting organization called the Guardians.
His stint at the Guardians didn’t go well; after five years, he left the group rather violently. It was at this point that his personal counselor recommended he get a much more peaceful job, and recommended working at a library. It worked out rather well, but it was rather boring for Taz, so he got a bounty hunting license as well. This turned out to be the perfect combo for him: the relaxing space of a library and the anger release of bounty hunting.
And then Tree’s bounty went up. At the moment he took that job, Taz’s old instincts were awakened. He was the one to finally track Tree down and nearly killed her before Clive, another bounty hunter who was after Tree, had actually beaten her twice and had been prevented from taking her in by Snowy and Ark’s, respectively, intervention, showed up and fought Taz. Tree had run off by herself at the time that Taz had found her, and there was no one to save her this time until Clive’s unexpected arrival. It was soon after this that Taz and Nicholas Flamel joined up together. It’s unknown what their plans are, but it can’t be anything good.
He since later showed up on the Dimensional Island, and is currently in the process of rebuilding the group they had made back on Earth? of Taz, Flamel, Kid, Dolphi III, Hammy, and a strange newcomer named Ford Blackstaff.
Other: He’s rather knowledgeable in Norse Mythology.
Picture: Really old picture, better one coming soon
