Trump looked down into Digit's eyes... and grinned.
"Heh. You already said you'd play the game with me." He snickered. "It wouldn't make sense to kill a member of my team, would it?" Looking up, Trump grimaced at the form in the sky.
"Neat. Desmond called that thing out, eh?" With a sadistic little giggle, Trump looke down at the wounded Coincut. "Hmm... you'd better stay here, CC. Call me when you get that arm back."
Coincut's single eye showed a reflection of pure terror. "What?!" He screamed in shock. "Trump, I'll die!!"
Trump was silent for a moment. Then, slowly, the armor covering and concealing his face began to retreat. The scales of the armor slipped flawlessly into his skin.
"I don't let my team die." Trump answered-- his eyes shined with a maniac's fire, reflecting Coincut's helpless expression. "In a week, I'll come back for you and pick up the pieces."
Trump turned to leave, a shocked Coincut standing in his wake. "Scumhunt..." Trump hissed. "Leave your buddy behind. We're shipping out."
Schumhunt hesitated for a moment, looking at his friend's helpless body. Then, with a hint of reluctance, the blob crawled after Trump obediently.
Trump drew the finger of his gauntlet into the air-- it was a wicked thing, with claws of iron. Slowly, he drew it down, and as he did he seemed to tear something into the space before him: a large, red portal of swirling energy.
"All aboard who's going aboard!" Trump exclaimed.

Digit walked into the portal. "Cool armor." He said as he when though.

"Well isn't that a bitch?" Felix sighed, noticing Coincut left to die. "But it's not my problem... the Wizard's gone? And all these demons... guess I'd better get to work after all."

(oh my god, you guys XD Get outta there, Felix, 42 set up a big attack that'll wipe out anyone that's left! XD I'll pretend my group didn't notice Felix)
"Shitshitshitshitshit!!"
"Eddy, really, is such language necessary?"
Eddy only had to point up at the sky, and Flecther saw and understood his reasoning.
"...shit."
This was it, no more time to kid around. Eddy snatched up Fletcher, Trevor, and King, and sped off as fast as he could go. At this extreme speed, their weights on his shoulders and back didn't matter; they had to get the hell out of this desert!!

"What's going on?"
"We must be going." The white haired male behind him caused him to turn. "The demons here will be destroyed... with everything else."
"My Lord... what are you?"
"The God's Eye... Their weapon... They're using it to destroy the desert..." He opened a white portal behind him and nodded. "Return to Heaven. We'll discuss more when it's over."
"... They were out there... My friends and family, I have to help..."
"They... will be fine Felix," the white-haired man said. "I swear to you they will escape and not die... but not even an angel of your stature can survive this attack. I'll stay behind and tell you about the attack, though I must ask you not to tell Team Skylark about it." He then sighed. "God's Eye... my eye was not meant to be used for such... malevolence... I wonder how they intend to destroy this desert."
Felix sighed and began walking through the portal. "I hope you are right, Father."
He nodded, His eyes truthful. "Have I ever wronged you, my child?" He closed the portal when Felix travelled through it and then looked up, anticipating the attack.

High above the island, this collosal figure's eye began to glow.
Re-directing auxillary power to God's Eye... Strength at 21%... Firing in 5...
Desmond watched as Eddy struggled to run; with all of that extra weight, he might get caught in the God's Eye blast. "Alert the Magnum Opus." Desmond whispered into his communicator. "Teleport me and my flock: speed up the God's Eye."
In a process similar to that of Star Trek, Desmond and his robotic minions faded into nothingness. However, the figure from above's eye was now shining like a bright, green star.
Longitude and latitude entered... all friendlies extracted.. 4... 3...
Trump grinned before stepping through his portal. Desmond had just stepped it up a notch by calling in the Magnum Opus; soon, everybody would be brining in their own secret weapons. Then there'd be complete war over this little rock; blood, fire, and hell.
And Trump's grin turned into tears of joy. Calmly, he exited the battlefield:
He had work to do.
God's Eye ready to fire in 3... 2... 1... 0. Firing.
Like a bolt from above, the God's Eye fired; a laser fired from the eye of the giant above, descending rapidly to the desert. With the crack of excited air, it struck the sand below. It soon began to rapidly expand, going from a beam as wide as a pin to having a diameter of ten feet in mere seconds. The sand it touched melted together, and it gave off a shimmering, white heat that was visible even from far away.
And still, it grew.

The white-haired male watched the heat expand. He wasn't afraid for himself; never would he need to be afraid for himself. He was, however, worried about Felix's companions; amongst them his greatest servant, the Angel of Light. He looked at the heat and smirked softly as it approached him. "Something like you... cannot touch the hearts you seek to destroy... Pure, innocent... yet strong and unwavering... let this message reach your masters... That as long as evil such as them exists, purity will be around to end it!" Then he was engulfed by the blast.

Perched messily on Eddy's back, Fletcher climbed atop the other two, acting as the backwards eyes. They enlarged upon witnessing the blast, hardly bothering by the brown messy locks blowing into them from the winds kicked up.
"...move, Eddy, move!"
"ON IT!!" Eddy exerted himself to full speed, a trail of fire blazing behind him, leaving a thin line of glimmering glass, like a snail's silver trail on the sidewalk.

From the cockpit of some enormous vessal, Desmond watched patiently. Screens showed the scenes down below from a hundred possible angles while half-machine technicians sat at their keyboards, typing in commands to the cameras that watched.
"M'lord," one of the voices asked. Desmond looked down at the technician who now stood before his throne.
"The Heretics are escaping; should we increase the Eye's power?"
Desmond paused. "No... keep it steady and follow them." He answered thoughtfully. "Once they reach civilization, turn off the beam; I don't want innocent lives destroyed." He smiled gently, however, when a thought occured to him. "But no doubt they'll return to their master, the Wizard." He smirked. "Find their base and keep an eye on them."
The technician bowed and returned to his post.
