"Um... this guy is attacking us to acquire the jewel our friend has possession of, and we are fighting to protect him," Edd simply stated as calmly as he could muster, which wasn't saying much.

"Difficult?!" The man repeated. "You're calling me difficult, kid?! You know what's difficult? Everything! How about the asshole who tosses flaming gophers at your lawn every morning? Or the guy who purposely drives his car into someone's house just because he's gotta pee? Think about it: you're mining ore in an online game and a goblin shows up and stops you when you're 99% done! That's difficult, big-head!"

As the Eds got off eachother, Edd counted the negatives. "...how is that good news!?"
"Huh?" Raz looked sharply at him.
"Four negatives! That makes it a double-negative!"
"No, it would be a quadruple-negative."
"Which would translate to a double negative!"
"WHAT are you guys talking about?" Eddy demanded.
