Krystal walked throught the woods cautiously. She wasn't sure where she was going, she just knew that someone said something about seeing something shiny there. Fox told her about the jewel pieces so she knew all about that. Whatever was spotted here could be a jewel piece though.
She felt something though. There was someone else nearby, that someone was small but powerful. She just wasn't sure who or what it was. But it was nearby...

"Ed?" Double D poked his head through the branches, looking around. "Sigh... of all the places for him to run off to..." He climbed over one above-ground tree root, only to turn and trip over another, falling in the mud. "OWCH!... ugh..."

"Eep!" Krystal jumped and turned to see Edd in the mud. She was so busy concentrating on this other presense she didn't even notice his.
"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry! I didn't see you there," she held out her hand to help him up.

Edd coughed and rubbed mud out of his eyes, glancing up. "...oh."
Shakily, he took her hand and was lifted to his feet.
"I-It's alright, I-I was just looking for my friend..." He braved a glance at her, then turned away, pulling up his shirt's collar to hide his blush.

"Double D?" Felix darted out from behind one of the trees, but his eyes hadn't wandered near Double D's yet. Exploring the forest, they had managed to get seperated and now he was looking for the confused Ed boy. "Where are you? Double D?"

Pine was elsewhere, practicing a new branch of his powers where he could teleport via fire. He swallowed a jalapeno. In a burst of flame, he disappeared from that location and reappeared in the woods. Of course, some of the trees caught fire and most of his fur was charred. Not to mention the fact that his head was still on fire. He pulled out a cigarette, lit it on his headfire and started smoking it. "I'm back baby." he said "Hi, Krystal"

Krystal turned to Pine. "Um...you do know your head is on fire right?..." she decided it wasn't important and turned to Edd ", I'm sorry, I didn't introduce myself. My name's Krystal, I'm a member of the StarFox team."
Wow...I can't believe how many people are here...but none of them are what I was sensing before, what could that have been? Krystal thought.

Lea also felt what Krystal was feeling through her expter Chi control. "I'm not sure we're alone." She observed. She reached for her hidden Morpher just in case.
