Christian poured ice cold water on Nick's head and then gave Godot an evil glare that would be like the Battle Aura from out of Ranma. "Stop it," she said.

"Would you two shut up?!" Christian asked. "Ugh, the arguing hedgehogs, the emo crossdresser, and now you two. I wanted to keep the peace in this place and, yes this may be selfish, but also prove that I am not wanted material and don't need to be hunted down when bigger threats like Tigra and the Zoness Mafia are taken in!" Could this get any worse? she thought. Then a girl whose ribs was showing and whose body was bruised passed out and ended up falling in through the door clutching a jewel piece in her hand. Terra turned around to see and ended up letting out a yelp of shock. Ike and Sonic stared with wide eyes. Tir had been asleep through everything. Now Christian felt more negative feelings pour into her system and she felt herself cracking. "I'll... I'll be back... HEY WAITER, GET THIS GIRL SOME FOOD! I'LL PAY FOR IT!" Then she ran into the girl's bathroom where she ended up in a corner breaking down into tears. Too much stress and now the sadness of seeing a young girl who was on the brink of death... It took the strength she thought she had built up training away from her.

Godot cringed at the sight of the girl. "Err..." "Godot? You ok?" Phoenix asked. "Err... Just... Check what happened to her, Phoenix..." Godot replied. Something about seeing the girl brought up unwanted memories. "Hey, you called me-" "Just do it!" Phoenix nodded and walked over to the girl and helped her up. "Hey, are... You ok...?"

Cho was out cold. Her eyes were black and her nose was red with caked blood. Her neck, arms, and legs were bruised. She was lucky to have found a shirt and pants to wear or else the bruises on her stomach and back would also be revealed. "Sonic!" a voice called. Sonic ran out to stop Tails from coming in. Meanwhile, Terra felt his heart breaking. Ike was just shocked. Tir... still asleep.

Mario and Fox ran over the girl as well.
"Oh my gosh, we need to get her to a hospital or something!" Mario suggested in a nervous tone.
"I don't think there's a hospital in this town but there's a doctor," Fox replied, still quite shocked ", We should definitely take her there."

"Wait," Ike said as he saw the flash. He walked over and opened the girl's palm softly. He saw the jewel, but then she jerked up and away before backing into a corner. "... I will not hurt you. I want to help... Where did you find that jewel?" Ike asked. The girl looked down and said nothing. "... What's your name?" "Why... Why d'you wanna know?" the girl asked. Terra frowned and then stood up and walked over to the girl who backed as far into the wall as she could. "T-TERRA!" "Are you suffering?" Terra asked the girl softly.

Terra pulled the brooch on his top off. It was a gift from Shizune, but Terra supposed he could part with it. The sapphire on it shone brightly in the light. "Would you like to trade with me?" he asked. The girl's shaking decreased. She wondered what he meant. "I'm collecting jewel pieces like those." It was a good lie. All to help his friends. "If you help me complete my collection, I'll be greatful to you... and I'll let you keep this brooch," he said, pinning it onto her shirt softly so as not to poke her. She looked down at it softly and then held the jewel piece out. He took it softly and smiled. "Thank you... Where did you find this? I'd like to know. Maybe I could find more there." The girl looked up into his eyes. He looked earnest... kind... He also looked like he knew the same pain she had to go through. So she spoke to him softly about what happened.
She had woken up near the riverbed. Her eyes were still groggy and hunger flailed at her stomach mercilessly. She felt weak and she had wanted to die, but she also knew that dying would be giving her parents exactly what she wanted. Therefore, she remained strong with the goal of proving to her parents that she wasn't weak and that she wasn't a burden. Even with her bruises and disorders, even with her ribs showing, she decided she would fight on and live.
That's when she noticed the sparkle in the river. Her eyes glimmered with awe and she reached for it. Catching it nimbly in between her fingers, she looked at it and examined it with a twinkle in her eye. That's when the wolves appeared. They surrounded her, growling and snarling. She felt her knees buckle and shivers descend upon her, but there was another howl and a brownish-red wolf tore into the ranks and began clawing and biting the other wolves. Soon she was forgotten and she decided to take the opportunity and run away.
"You went through a lot for this one jewel piece," Terra said, frowning. "Yes," the girl said. Her voice was soft and angellic, but weak. "... Why. Why do you sound like me?" "Alas, child, that I do not wish to answer." "... I understand."
