"Ah, I was waiting for someone to ask." Sasha flashed them all a badge with a brain symbol on it. "Agent Sasha Nien, Psychonaut. I'm a... mentor of sorts to Razputin." He breifly cast a gaz at the boy, then turned back, keeping a straight face pretty well. "I recieved his report about the dark insects and decided to cross over and lend a hand. I know the remote locations of some of the jewels, but I came here first when I recieved word of the investigation... he was smart to recruit you, but unfortunately it made no difference." He paused. "...not to doubt your skills, of course, the enemy's attack was cowardly."
"...I knew this would happen..." Edd muttered forlornly, curling tighter into his huddled position. "...but I didn't do anything to help...I..."

"I...Yes... I know..." Edd feigned a smile. "...I just can't help thinking..." He looked at his hands regretfully. "My powers are... invisibility and force feilds... powers meant to protect ME." He sighed. "..how can I use them to...?"
"You know your powers better than anyone else, Super Child," Sasha replied. "As you develop your skills, you'll discover ways to protect those close to you."

The figure had disappeared before getting hit unfortunately.
Mario and Fox slept quite peacefully.
