Adachi closed his door after Souji turned away from it, and locked only one lock this time. He wasn't too worried about these kind of things right now. The Seta kid had been mostly civil. And besides, the doctor would be getting there soon, hopefully.
Souji walked across the hallway to his door. He pulled his keys out of his pocket and inserted them into the lock before unlocking the door and pushing it open. "Go ahead and make yourself at home... again," Souji said with a chuckle. "You can take the bed if you want it."
He changed his mind. Questions could wait until morning, when they were all more coherant and the Dark Hour was looming on the horizon. It was raining right now, and Souji remembered the last time it had been raining during a Dark Hour. It hadn't been pretty.
--------------
Minato looked up from where he was sitting on the couch and over at Ryoji before standing up and walking over to Ryoji. He smiled as he got close to Ryoji.
"Let's go somewhere tomorrow. We've just been sitting around the apartment lately; we need to get out," Minato said. He might be able to get Ryoji a bit out of his depressive funk too if they went outside and did something for once.

Teddie gave a grin and nodded. Right, Adachi could be handled later. At worst they'd just have to hand his head to him again. It was a problem with what he'd done... again. But he had attacked Takahashi, and that man was a police officer too. So things would work out. Probably.
"Sensei, you seem in a lot better mood! Did something happen with Izanagi?"
----------
Ryoji's eyes had gotten rather out of focus as he was watching the rain. No, he wasn't watching the rain. The only consolation was that he wasn't looking in the direction of the door. He'd done it a lot lately, and Minato hadn't asked about it. He either knew the Hotel was in that direction or had chosen not to ask.
When Minato spoke, he jerked a bit. He blinked as his eyes came back into focus and turned towards Minato. Where had he been? He didn't want to know, he could guess. He hadn't spoken to Nyx since she'd left him alone before. She'd said she wanted to talk to him, but he was taking as much time to himself as he could.
"I'm sorry, Minato. What did you say?"

Souji smiled and nodded. "Yeah. Yuugi managed to convince him to let me live yesterday. I'm really glad. It's taken a huge weight off my shoulders."
...mruf... Coffee.
Oh, there you are. And no. I want to sleep tonight, Souji replied to Izanagi, who grumbled and went back to being silent.
-----------------
Minato's expression fell a bit as he saw how Ryoji jumped when he spoke. Ryoji had drifted off again. On the bright side, at least he hadn't been staring at the door again. Not mught of a bright side, but Minato needed to think of at least one.
"I asked if maybe we could go out somewhere tomorrow," Minato repeated. "What do you think?"
It was likely Ryoji wouldn't get to really answer that question, though, as it was then that the sky turned green and Minato had to avert his gaze from the window. Pools of blood were bad enough. Raining blood was so much worse. Even if it turned back to water later. The apartment had also become not-so-oddly dark when the Dark Hour hit due to the lack of electricity. They were in a bad part of the apartments for natural light, it looked like.

Teddie had an expression of pure relief. Adachi was back to his old tricks, but as long as Souji was going to be okay, everything would be okay. His grin looked like it was going to break his face. He ran over to the bedroom and lifted a hand as if he were waving.
"I'll see you in the morning, then!"
----------
Ryoji forced a smile as Minato spoke. He was still worried, but he was grateful Minato was trying to cheer him up. He opened his mouth to answer before Minato's face was covered by the darkness of the room. Ryoji's expression fell as he turned towards the window. Blood, he'd been right about that. The limited moonlight was that odd not quite neon green the Hour was known for sporting. The apartment had terrible lighting as well.
Ryoji went to turn back to Minato. He didn't seem bothered by the rain, but he had been expecting it. It was all part of the Hour. Rather than stopping at Minato, his head turned to the door again. He shook his head as his eyes tried to out of focus. It wasn't even the new moon yet, he had a feeling it was going to get far worse when the moon began to wax. His eyes had adjusted to the dark by now and he chose to fix them on Minato's eyes. His grin was far more forced, and he looked almost as if he had a mild headache. It was a similar feeling to someone who was very late for an appointment... it wasn't that far off a comparison, either. He should have been there by now.
"I think that's fine..."

Souji smiled and waved back to Teddie. The Dark Hour had hit just as Teddie had reached the bedroom door. Souji had frowned a bit, but his expression returned to normal once Teddie turned back around to face him.
"Yeah, you too," Souji said. He walked over to the couch and collapsed on top of it. Teddie could have the bed tonight. He deserved it after what his day had been like.
------------------
Minato knew what was wrong with Ryoji. Ryoji should have been long gone by now. But they were both trying to keep Ryoji there for as long as possible, hence why Ryoji was resisting the pull of the Hotel Tartarus.
You can check out, but you can't ever truely leave, Minato found himself thinking. Well, that was the exact reason why he wanted to fight to have as much time as possible with Ryoji.
"Alright. I'll see you tomorrow morning, then. Don't stay up too late, okay Ryoji?" Minato asked. A bit of a stupid worry. Of course Ryoji was going to be staying up through the Dark Hour. He was already nodding off because of Tartarus' influence. He didn't need to disappear somewhere because of it too.

Teddie jerked his head up at the change. Right, the Dark Hour. He kept his grin and nodded before heading into the bedroom.
----------
"...alright."
Ryoji had turned back to the "rain". This was why he stayed awake. The place had yanked at him even with his supressed memories. let alone fully aware of what he should be doing. He closed his eyes and took in a breath. One hour to deal with this, and then he'd be safe for another twenty-four... He wasn't all that aware of Minato's position again. He'd only notice if Minato tried to leave the apartment.
