Physical Description
Nirad is a standard Garuda, with nothing but a unique aura and a name to seperate him from the other members of his race. He is a tall bird-man like creature with some apperance similarities to the Eastern Tengu. He is average thanks to muscling by racial standards, but if you were to compare his height to his weight on a human he'd seem like he should be dead. It's a result of a bird-like construction, although its rather heavy for that.
Growing from his back are two wings, a pride of his race. The front side are a beautiful blend of cerulean blue, yellow, and green and are almost peacock like. The back side are a deep crimson red. His upper body looks to have a sort of red mail-like armor on it, but it is actually his skin. His lower arms are like a bird's talons mixed with the opposable thumbs humans have. He has three fingers, counting his thumb.
His lower body is very bird-like as well, but his feet are a bit more human. They only have two toes, which are taloned under his slipper-like shoes. Over his lower body he has baggy white silk pants. Hanging from a blue silk beltpiece that straps over his chest as well are long green and gold leg guards. A slightly longer black and gold piece hangs dwon from a green and gold piece at the center of his belt sash.
Over both his upper arms he has a tightly wrapped sash. Over his head and blue face, of which a short hooked bird of prey like beak comes from, he has a gold helmet piece. It extends past his head and covers his shoulders, and a lion head molded piece is over the right upper side of his chest. The head piece is much like an ornate crown and causes his height to be much taller than humans. The head piece also covers where a human's ears would be and are molded like feathers.
Weapons
Nirad, like most members of his race, doesn't carry any weapons on him. Considering he is a demon with more than a few powers under his belt, one isn't really needed.
Abilities/Powers
Nirad has access to any demonic skill often called spells in his home world, just not at one time. With enough Magnetite, any one of his non inherent skills can be changed to suit a situation. Inherent ones require chain fusing. He's always kept with the full life force healing skill Diarahan, although its not as truly useful as in a video game context. He likes to have some version of the "Almighty" skill family (Megido, Megidolaon, Holy Dance) accessible as well.
Skills
Nirad can fly, as can all Garuda. His speed and maneuverability are also racial standards, although he is a bit better at it than many due to having directly served under the new King of Bel for his entire reign. Nirad is also fairly good at negotiating and well versed in royal politics. Some of it was gained from exposure, a lot of it was taught to aid the human he is contracted to, the Prince of Bel.
Personality
Nirad is a fairly kind individual, but he comes across as mean to a lot of people. He has a certain level of pity for the humans under Abel's command. Atsuro and the human he is contracted to, Seth, most of all. He's overly practical at times, and will take practicality over common sense or his own safety in many cases. He does worry over Abel's humanity, but sincerely believes it is in Abel's best interests to discard it.
Despite all that, he is actually very proper. He has a good head on his shoulders and was one of only a handful of demons to fully accept Abel's position. He dislikes speaking informally to people who rank above him. As an example, it took Seth months to get him to not address him formally as the Prince, and it still slips through every once in a while.
History
Nirad was actually fused at some point before Abel was sent to Dimension Island the first time as Keiichi Kimura. He spent most of his time on Cain's COMP, and he wasn't often summoned. He met Keiji, who had already begun identifying himself as Seth, around the time they raided the Rappongi Building and Abel took his rightful place as the King of Bel. In the three or so months that followed that, Seth and the demon formed a bit of a mutual understanding bond. A sort of friendship, if you would. Nirad was responsible for much of Seth's gain of royal knowledge and etiquette.
Be it the bond or his experience, he was one of two demons that remained with Seth when the group returned to the Island for a "vacation". It's important to point out as the Island tends to remove most demon data from COMPs due to some interference in signal. He continues to serve Seth and follow the teenager's orders.
