Double D winced at each blow Yui gave to the force field, and unable to take the pressure much longer, he collapsed, and the force field disappeared. It didn't help that Kijin's anger and evil radiance dug into him like a hail of knives.
Blossom glanced between Otto and Kijin, having wisely backed off and landing at Gantz's side. "...this could get real nasty."
Coruage did what was typical of him. He screamed. And dove into Helga's arms, not wanting to look.

Clive "tsk"-ed as Zin Kain and Otto began to battle. Oh, it was just some big battle between two idiots who hated each other. Bloody wankers.
"Lemme at 'em!" Waddle Dee yelled.
"No," Clive said. He looked down as Yui broke through the force field Double D had put up. He pulled his hook out of the ground again and threw it at Yui this time, typing the doll up. He then pulled him up to the top of the tree, his hat falling off as he was pulled up.
"Hey... you look kinda familliar..." Waddle Dee said. "Ooh! Ooh! That's it! You look just like that one blond haired doll I saw at that weapons shop I got my new parasol from!"
"Y-You don't mean Eriol, do you?" Yui finally asked, having come out of his auto mode.

Gantz smiled a little to see Blossom again. Trying to stand up a little taller, he looked to the girl with a small look. "Heya Blossom... Long time eh?" Finally, the gitchy seemed to start wearing off, and not a moment too soon. He shook his head, and lightly bonked it, getting his vision back to normal. Though the same couldn't be said for his legs, as he continued to struggle to keep balance. "Don't worry too much about me, I'll be fine..." Looking the future battle field, he flinched. "Though I don't know if the same can be said for Otto and Kijin Kain."
"DOUBLE D!!!!" Wally quickly ran over to the downed boy, and went to work on a healing spell.
Helga and Tarosuke were quickly behind Wally to check on Double D, "Double D-san! Are you okay??"
BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Helga and Tarosuke jumped in surprise at this, as they quickly looked up. "What... The... Hell?"
Otto and Kijin Kain's struggle had begun.
['Southwest Statistic' by this Way begins playing in the background.]
Otto, after absorbing a bunch of shadows and activating his 'Demon Slayer' form, had jumped high into the air, to avoid a black energy blast from Kijin, before firing off energy blasts of his own. However, Kijin quickly proved to be just as fast as Otto, and, strange as it may sound, ducked into a shadow, just as Otto's blows collided with the ground. Landing back on the ground, Otto immediately dodged with a 'dodge roll' as Kijin Kain crashed out of the shadows, his claws lined with black fire. Kijin roared loudly, as the two squared off a few brief seconds.
Fast on his feet, Otto zoomed over to Kijin Kain, whom made his claws transform into giant shadow claws before swiping downward, Otto dodged by taking advantage of the space between each claw, jumped up to the giant lizard and delivered a powerful, dark energy powered kick to the creature's snout, sending the beast flying backward.
Wally, Tarosuke, Helga, and Gantz's eyes widened. "YEOW!!!!" Wally picked up Double D and ran, Gantz would've stumbled away if Blossom hadn't picked him, Helga, and Tarosuke up, and joined Wally...
CRAAAAAAAAAAASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kijin slammed through the wall and into the house...
Shortly before blasting his way out of rubble, letting out one of the fiercest roars anyone had ever heard. "YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT OTTOMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The lizard leaped forward and was able to catch Otto, before landing a powerful punch to the boy's gut, causing the boy to spit up blood, before slamming him down on the ground. He then lifted a foot. "How fitting... Now the cockroach will be squashed..." He chimed sadistically as he brought down his foot...
Otto however regained his senses, and caught the foot. He grunted, as he kept the foot back, strength more then showing, since both strength, AND sheer weight were apparent factors in this situation.

"WHOA!" Blossom had barely grabbed everyone in time, getting them all to safety. She turned to Gantz. "Well? Do we intervene or not? Obviously you know these guys better than me."
Double D regained his senses in Wally's arms, wincing in pain... more types of pain than one. This was not working. Obviously he was being absolutely no help whatsoever, and he never would be if he continued to let this aura-reading rule over him.
Gently, he shut his eyes again. Focus.
He took a moment to poke around in his own being, become more familiar with his new identity. He came to a gradual realization that he was approaching this all the wrong way; he should've metitated like this a long time ago, get to know what he was given and how it all worked, instead of mindlessly trying everything at once.
Upon his search, he learned that his Aura-sensing had been left exposed, like an open door. No wonder everything was getting in and disrupting him.
Block it out, he told himself. Just like a force field, raise up a barrier. Protect yourself from these auras and only read the ones you need to...close the door.
Close. The Door.
His eyes reopened, bright as before. Gradually, the dull hum in his ears became the crashes and roars of the battle. "Mngh... Wally..." he grunted, shifting in his arms. "I'm...I'm alright...sorry to worry you..."

Clive groaned at the scene before him. He was only here because he owed a favor to Tree. The Waddle Dee had only come because it had some beef with Zin Kain. Waddle Dee. Bloody hell, what the hell had he mixed himself up with? Bats and toons and Pokemon and puffballs from Planet X. Just what the hell.
He lowered his fishing pole a bit, causing Yui to flail wildly. His bunny hat slipped off, revealing a head of very untidy brown hair. Yui yelped and caught the hat with his foot. Clive looked down. "Sorry chum."
"...It's okay. Um, w-where did you say that you saw Eriol?" Yui hesitantly asked.
"Sorry, couldn't tell ya," Waddle Dee said.
"Not even a hint?" Yui asked. Waddle Dee sighed.
"Well... you'll know it when you see it. Master Clive, may I please join the fi--"
"No."

A shake of his head was Gantz's answer to Blossom. "If only it were that simple Blossom... But I'm afraid if we did, Otto would never forgive either of us. This was always his fight, no-one else's."
Wally looked down at Double D, grinning. "Double D! Thank goodness your okay mate!"
"Double D-san!" Helga came shortly after Wally did. "What happened there, Double D-san? You just suddenly passed out."
Tarosuke waved that comment off. "He's an angel, of course he would. Anyone that hasn't been an angel too long will make the mistake of not closing off their magical aura sensing abilities at some point or another." Upon noticing the odd looks, he shrugged. "What? Anyone could tell he's an angel if they looked at his aura long enough."
"RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The battle continued, as Otto, with a mighty heave, pushed Kijin Kain's foot clean off of him, clearly surprising AND ticking off the Zinterou prince at the same time. Roaring angrily, Kijin Kain clawed at the boy who quickly dodged aside, planting a foot upside the monster's face. This appeared to do nothing more then daze the monster... "DARKNESS PULSE!!!!!!"
At least before that magic was cast sending Kijin Kain flying backward. While he was down, Otto absorbed even more shadows... BOOOOM!!!!! He suddenly took on his Zin-Beserk Oversoul form, his form becoming more feral, a scaley tail appearing, his jet black hands becoming noticeably more scaley, and his eyes turning into more feral by the moment. "Come on Kijin Kain, let's see you challenge THIS!!!!!!"

"Alright...I guess that makes sense..." Blossom shook her head. Boys and their manly rivalries. "But I'll be forced to protect anyone else that gets involved, alright?"
"Mnh... did I? I apologize..." Double D silently directed Wally to set him down on his feet. "All the darkness and anger was weighing down on me mentally, and those hits to my force field, which are ALSO mentally powered, did me in for a second." He rubbed his head. "But... I think I fixed that for now..."
He regarded Tarosuke strangely, then waved it off, looking off towards the battle. "Oh my... what should we do about THIS mess?"

"Let the wankers fight it out."
Clive was suddenly next to Double D. If Double D jumped, he didn't notice. He was holding his fishing pole too, and Yui wasn't attached to it. And sitting on Clive's head was Waddle Dee, who REALLY looked like he wanted to join in with the fight.
"Sunglasses-wanker here's right. They gotta fight it out themselves," Clive said. He looked to Gantz. "By the way, that wanker Tree told me to tell you she's gonna fix you the same way the Fonz fixes the jukebox. Don't ask me how she knows about Happy Days when it wasn't even still on TV when she was born, 'cause I got no idea. Just a warning though."
He shifted his fishing pole a bit, and if anyone looked, they might notice that a large portion of the string was missing.

................ Gantz raised an eyebrow at Clive. "Tree?" He thought a moment... "Wait... You mean the same Treetune Beatrice used to go on and on about?" Figuring that to be the right answer, he frowned. "And what exactly have I done to her anyways?"
Otto was slammed aside by Kijin Kain whom was up on his feet in a new York minute. Fast as a bullet the mutant dinosaur humanoid pulled out his chain flail weapon, and started swinging it around with maximum precision. Otto dodged the weapon quickly and effectively, as it performed feats impossibility with each swing. It was like the chain axe wasn't on a chain, but the chain was an extension of Kijin Kain's own arm. "WHY-DON'T-YOU-JUST-GO-TO-HELL?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?" Kijin Kain emphasized each word with a swing coming closer to slicing at Otto with each one.
Otto grinned as he caught the closest one with the space between his index and middle finger. "If I die, I won't be going to Hell tough guy..." His grin turned dark, "Which is more then I can say for you, you honorless basta-"
POWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kijin Kain interrupted this sentence with a powerful right hook to Otto's jaw that shut him up quickly. "You SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Otto was did a backwards soumersault to get back to his feet. "Hey I only speak the truth after all." CHOMP!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kijin Kain's teeth and powerful jaws missed Otto's shoulder by a few inches and sunk into a nearby tree. "Oh NICE AIM you're 'HIGHNESS'."
Otto ducked down, as Kijin Kain, effortlessly YANKING the tree out of the ground by the roots... WITH HIS TEETH; swung it at the boy with malice, before he bit down and snapped where he bit the tree in two, leaving only the bark and tree sap in his mouth. "YOU BASTARD CHILD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'LL TEACH YOU SOME RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Blossom took to watching the brawl, impressed. "They look to be equally matched... but I'm gussing we're rooting for the kid, right?"
Double D nodded instinctively, clutching at his shirt. "I just hope he'll be alright..."
Courage nodded tightly, still huddled inside Helga's shirt, shivering and turning away at the rough parts. He hoped it would be over soon.

Clive shrugged. "Don't ask me. But, I bet it's got something to do with you and the sword." Before Gantz could ask about that, Clive added, "Yeah, I know about it. Everyone in Tree's little Anti-Ragnarok group knows. When Beatrice found out, she sent a message to Tree. And that wanker Tree... flipped out. She's got everyone she knows on the Island lookin' for you. I'm only helping out because I owe her a favor."
Waddle Dee jumped down from Clive's hat, and was caught on the end of the fishing pole before he could go anywhere. "Aww..." Waddle Dee said.
"Anyways, Tree's looking for you. And while I don't exactly plan on telling her that you're here quite yet, 'cause she's probably already in Bonsai Village by now, I'd keep your eye out for a psycho bat," Clive said. "If you can see past those sunglasses of yours, anyways."

A dismal sigh was the response to this. "I... I see..." Gantz nodded. "Don't you worry though, these sunglasses aren't a hinderance, in any way." a small grin played on his face. "If anything, they help me in a way."
This earned him a stare from Tarosuke, "What the hell are you talking about?? Those sunglasses would be blinders on black nights like this!"
"Exactly."
This earned him another stare. "Even if Tree does find me, catching ME by surprise would be a heck of a chore. You're talking to a guy that spent many a day fighting off warriors of various shapes and sizes... And I don't believe there's a single trick in Tree's arsenal that I'm not prepared for." That likely caught Clive's attention... The bloody wanker DID sound like he MEANT what he said, and was pretty confidant in what he said. However a frown crossed his face. "But... If she's in Bonsai Village... That must mean she's with the others..."
Otto and Kijin Kain's duel continued in the background, as this continued. "Gantz-san... Why did you leave your friends?"
Gantz groaned... "I..." Helga likely looked confused when Gantz turned away. He appeared to be thinking hard... Though over just what, could've been ANYONE'S guess.
"HEEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
That pretty much caught EVERYONE'S attention.
Turning to the mansion, one would be able to see an extra cranky Misty standing before the ruins of the mansion's reading room, her eyes looked red as if she had been crying, but they also looked tired and ragged, as if she hadn't been able to sleep.
And, honestly? Cranky didn't even begin to cover the look on her face.
"WHAT THE (BLEEP!!!) IS GOING ON OUT HERE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"

Instantly, everyone swiveled back around to Misty. Courage gave out a whine of confusion.
"...who's that?" Blossom ventured.
"Someone who is not very delightful to deal with when angered," Double D replied softly, gulping. Things were about to get uglier.

Clive shrugged. "You underestimate the crazy bat. In any case..." He watched the fight some more until Misty showed up. And then he looked up at her, and shrugged again.
"Well, I just showed up like five minutes ago, and these two were already fightin' when I got here," Clive said. He pointed at Zin Kain and Otto with his fishing pole. "And there was some crazy chick from some cartoon, and a midget, and this creampuff--" He held Waddle Dee up so Misty could get a better look at him. "--Oh, and some beaten up Pinocchio, but he's gone now. Took half my string with him, too. And my hook. Y'know how long it's gonna take me to get another hook like that? I had to custom make it. Bloody wanker. Anyways, who the hell are you?"
"She's kinda pretty," Waddle Dee said. He was back to sitting on Clive's head, but would be ready to fight if Misty decided to fight.

Misty's eye twitched as she turned to Otto and Kijin Kain. Gantz gulped. "Their dead... So very very dead..."
"What the hell are you talking about?" Came Tarosuke confused.
Misty wearily floated over to the fighting grounds much to Waddle Dee's disbelief, as well as Otto and Kijin Kain's. "YOU LITTLE COPY @#$@#%#@%..." She was seething thoroughly at this point. "I CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU FOR TWO EFFING MINUTES BEFORE YOU START CAUSING TROUBLE CAN I?!?" Otto held strong, though he had to admit...
He was intimidated. What was WITH this woman?
"Why don't you just go back to the sidelines and knit a crochet or something, and leave this fight to m-"
BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In case you're wondering, Misty didn't punch Otto... She stamped her foot into the ground... HARD...
Like, make a crater three feet in every direction around her hard. "WAS THAT SUPPOSED TO BE SOME KIND OF CRACK YOU SEXIST LITTLE PUNK...?!?" She was growling and snarling as she continued. "At least MY Otto wasn't as bad mannered as you. He knew how to talk to a lady, Unlike YOU, I MEAN[glow=purple,2,300]WHAT THE @#$@#$ YOU LITTLE @#$@#$#@$ AT LEAST HE WASN'T STUPID ENOUGH TO TAKE ON AN OPPONENT HE KNEW HE COULDN'T DEFEAT YOU PROUD OBNOXIOUS-!!!!!!!"[/glow]
She felt a claw tap on her shoulder. "OUT OF THE WAY 'CRINEA KITRE'..." Kijin Kain growled, his muscles flexing madly. "UNLESS YOU WANT TO JOIN THIS CREATURE IN EXTINCTION, I SUGGEST YOU MOVE..."
[Let's just say the translation for 'Crinea Kitre' is something EXTREMELY Demeaning to girls and just leave it at that.]
Misty turned to Kijin Kain, her eye twitching tiredly, and she almost looked insane. "You want me to move, you scaley freak of nature? ... ... MAKE ME THEN."
This was answered with a snarl. "WITH PLEASURE YOU-"
The lizard reached out to grab her...
BAD IDEA.
Much to Kijin Kain's surprise, Misty grabbed the creature's wrist...
And BENT THE BONE CLEAN OUT OF IT'S BLOODY SOCKET.
"GAH-!!! WHA-?!?!"
That was all he had time to say before-
WHAM-BAM-SLAM-CRASH-THUD-BOOM-SLAM-
Misty started literally thrashing the monster all over the ground, typical cartoon fashion, as if the beast was a club Misty was trying to beat mud off of. Kijin Kain was so BLOODY SURPRISED by this turn of events that he never had time to react before Misty finished thrashing him, gave a wide top like spin, and sent the dinosaur SOARING CLEAN over the horizon....

Otto could only stare in slack-jawed disbelief... Him and everyone else there. Heck the only one that WASN'T surprised by this was Gantz, whom turned to Tarosuke giving him a matter of factly look. "THAT'S 'what the hell' I mean."
Misty turned to look at the group, but mostly at Otto, "WELL... ANY MEN WHO ARE TOO CAUGHT UP SUCKING THEIR OWN MANHOOD, CALLING IT HONOR, WHO HAS A @#$#@$# PROBLEM WITH THAT?" She pointed a thumb at where Kijin Kain became another star on the horizon.
