Demon broke the connection and slumpedto the ground her head in pure agony. Being as her mental ablitiyes were not her strong suit. With her head pounding all concetation on concealing her engery was forgotten.

With Fox Tengu was having diffuclties in keeping his shape.

"Ummm Fox, i think you need to find Demon quickly or we and the village wont be here much longer."

[night sky]

Fox ignored him. "Demon, i'm sorry." He said outloud, hopeing she would hear him. "I'm honestly sorry."

Demon had passed out slumped against the building a trial of blood coming from her nose.


Tengu growled and as best he could with his shape almost outa his control bit Fox's ear hard enough to draw blood.

"Fox damn it! Snap outa it! Demon is on the other side of the building and you need to forget about apoligizing for one moment and get me to her! I'm not stable! If we don't get to Demon this whole Village and every thing in it with go boom! And what type of guardian would you be if you let that happen!?"

[night sky]

"One that didn't care, or didn't want to care any more." Fox stated coldly. Still what tengu said was true, "Just once i want to be able, to watch the world around me go up in flames, and just smile, not caring." For once the voices of his ancestors kept quiet. as fox pushed off the ground, leaping over the building he landed next to Demon.

Tengu jumped from Fox's head into one of Demon's hands after giveing fox a sour look.

Though unconsious Demon curled her fist, bringing it to her stomach before curling her body up. An explosion went off casueing the area to tremble, but no damage was done. Fox had been knocked off his feet and Demon was smoking slightly from shieling the blast.

"Your a baka." Demon whispered uncuringl as best she could, her eyes remained closed.

Fox sat up, "I know." He stated simply. "and i know you might not want to hear it, but i am sorry, i never should have pried.

She stayed Quite a moment letting Fox beat himself up jsut a little more.

"Its in your nature to pry. I don't think I've ever met a Kitsune who didn't like to stick his nose in crap that wasn't his own, added to that your a stupid guardian. The last bit was said with some bitterness as Demon was still pretty mad, and her head was still trying to imitate the percusion section in an orcastra.

"But i shouldn't have, and i don't always enjoy being a guardian, as i told tengu, sometimes i just want to watch the world around me go up in flames, smile and not care, like you and vampire." Fox responded.

Demon cracked an eye open and looked At Fox.

"The Day you sit back, laugh and watch the world burn, I sthe day two things will happen. One the world will blow, end, die what ever. And two its the Day I'll go back and reclaim my inheirtance. Neither of which is happening any time soon, sorry to disapoint you."

Demon gave a small smile and closed her eye again.

"Tengu, you annoying kit, we need to find you that Sunstone don't we?"

The metal Fox nodding from his place in Demon palm, yawning and stretching.

"What's to say....nevermind. once again i'm sorry." Fox looked at Tengu, "You need a sunstone? all you had to do was ask."

[demon]

"Its rude to ask, the person a gift is intended for for help with the gift. Thats what Demon says anyway." Tengu added from Demon's Palm.

"I think I gave you too much of the kitsune personality. And whats to say what Fox?"

Tengu cowarded just a bit, and looked to Fox for help.

Fox sighed, "What's to say i don't envy you?" Fox asked.

Demon opened her eyes fully and stared at Fox completely taken by surprise. For once she was utterly speechless.

"You....envy...me..?.......Why?"

"You and vampire have fun, you do what you want, mostly, yes you where, denied your inheritance, but as you said, you are going to reclaim it, me, i'm cursed, so much responsibility stacked up on my shoulders, yet almost never being able to vent frustration, always keeping myself in check as to not hurt any one, when i myself am the one hurting, as always. i look at you and vampire, because, while you are her slave, you two are free." Fox responded. "i'm not."

Demon sighed.

"Everyone views there existance in their own way. I'm nowhere close to free by my standards and I wont be til I get back to my home realm. The human world is a prison for me. You however are free in the aspect, no ones telling you what to do, so what if your cursed, there are worst things, and really I'm a demon, I'm evil, the very thing you are spose to be fighting against correct? I don't care if you vent on me, if I get hurt so what? I'm pretty sure I wont stay injured for long."

She rolled her shoulders and sighed again.
