(OOC: I'm going to step out of the plot here. Gantz, I'm sorry if FF made it seem like I was making her run interference for me. I got the message she sent you and I get it if you got annoyed by that. I was really sick (I slept for a good 24 hours yesterday, got up for real at about 6PM my time today) and couldn't really do much beyond a few posts.
The only issue this MIGHT cause is in relation to Kosumu. My suggestion is pretend that he got here via his own will without Schala. He was looking for Wally and co already, so its plausible he got here on his own. But when I reboot Schala's plot it is going to be a full restart. If by some odd chance a mistake is made that references the events of this RP, Schala won't know what you are talking about.
Again, sorry if it seemed like I was hiding. Thank you for understanding! :3 To everyone else, I'm not in the RP here anymore, so pretend like my turn doesn't exist, as it doesn't.)

Having heard this, Metal nodded. "I see... Yes, that could make sense, I suppose..." He rubbed his chrome chin a moment, to think about this. "That aside, we need to get a better idea on where we can find Gantz..."
Climber thought a moment. "Well I don't know where we could find him..."
"Wait a second..."
Everyone turned to Metal as he said this. "I just remembered something!" He got up from his chair, as he said this. "That girl we met, Talim, she seems to have some kind of magical prowess about her, maybe she might be able to help us."

Beatrice shrugged. "It's possible... man, she pisses me off. Actually, half the people here piss me off. It's annoying."
Snowy floated into the room and shifted into her more humanlike form. "Sorry, I had to wait for them all to fall asleep. And I don't even know if Tree sleeps anymore." She looked concerned, and if someone looked closely, she was holding a scroll of some sort.
"...What's up?" Taffy asked.
"I'll tell you guys later. Anyways, this Talim person might know where Gantz is? Then let's use her. We need to follow this lead while we've got it. Where is she?" Snowy asked. Beatrice shrugged.
"I have no idea. She kinda disappeared, and shit happened," Beatrice said. "I actually forgot about her."
"Typical Bea-Bea," Taffy said. Which got him a punch, like typical. "Ow! Bea-bea, take off those stupid spike gloves before you punch me, please!"
"Oh, shut up, Lover-boy. You got worse from me back in school," Beatrice said.

Nutcase heard the idea of going to see Talim Seemed reasonable, as she likely did know something about what they were facing. That's when he remembered Taffy's question.
"wait, first I gotta answer what Taffy had asked about."
Flipping open Tobin's Spirit Guide, he found a chapter on Norse mythology and the Norse gods. He then opeed to a passage regarding Ragnarok.
"The Ghostbusters had actually delt wit a case regarding the Norse Gods. A guy called Jeremy once found a flute that summoned what many beleive to have been Loki, the Norse God of Mischeif."
Clown Man recognized the name and said, "Wasn't he that guy in Son of the Mask?"
"Yes but it seems Loki's story is much darker tan the movie suggested. Loki has always been at odds with his father Odin because he wasn't like his brother Thor, the God of Thunder. Loki became a figure of evil, essentially the Norse version of the devil. The guy I mentioned before, Jeremy, found a flute that when you played it could bring about Ragnarok. The Ghostbusters barely were able to stop it, as Jeremy was able to figure out what he was doing was terribly, horribly wrong."
Closing the book, Nutcase looked to Taffy and said, "This is all I know regarding Norse Mythology unfortunately.... As far as mythology goes, I'm more experianced in creatures as opposed to actual stories. But in regards to your question, I doubt someone managed to find that flute Jeremy used, because if someone did and if they were dum enough to play it, we'd see bat-like demons and we'd see a demonic face in the sky."

Metal and Climber took in that story for a moment, before the robot thought a moment. "Interesting story..." Looking to the window, he shrugged. "Well let's keep looking into it. In the meantime, you just leave finding Talim to me, it's only been a couple of days so she couldn't have gotten TOO far."
"You sure you'll be okay?" Climber seemed somewhat concerned, "We still need to keep away from Him... Wherever he is..."
After a second, Metal turned with this emoticon in his visor ';-)' "Don't you worry Climber, I'll be fine. I know how to handle myself." Metal was out the door having said this.

Taffy winced as he heard Clown Man talk. "Man, that movie sucked. The first Mask movie was so much better."
"Yeah, no kidding. But if it really is Loki... huh. Not who I expected, but eh," Beatrice shrugged. "I was thinking something bigger... like Jormungandr."
"...Beatrice, I think you need to retake Norse Myth 101. Loki was the father of practically all of the giants. He was one of the bigger gods. If what Tree's worried about is Loki, then that might explain why she was acting the way she was," Taffy said. He crossed his arms. "I don't like any of this. Magical swords and Norse monsters and Flamel. Never a good combo."
Snowy was staying quiet.

Putting Tobin's in his pocket, Nutcase said, "Even more reason to find out where Gantz is. Chances are the spirit of Soul Calibur is taking him to wherever Loki-or whatever Tree's worried about-may be. This may also lead us to the source of those dopplegangers so we can shut them down and for good. I don't like the idea of those things being on the loose."
Slimer, having woken up a while ago due to the constant banter, chewed his non-existant fingernails, having remembered the case his friends had involving Jeremy and the Flute of Ragnarok. He remembered hearing from Ray how the letter Jeremy sent to his ex-girlfriend at the time had so much PKE, that it caused Egon's PKE meter to go off like a small atomic bomb.
Nutcase was now seen doing a systems check on his proton pack. "It's a good thing I added some new features to the pack before all this nastiness with those dark bugs began. As some of you already know, the main weapon is the blast stream, which is the signature weapon of the pack the Ghostbusters made famous. Newer add-ons were made in 1991, which was when the recent Ghostbusters video game took place."
Holding up the pack he pointed to a green tank. "This is the PDS, or Plasm Distrobution System. Egon developed this after extensive study of the psychomagnetheric ectoplasm found beneath New York in the second Ghostbusters movie in '89. You saw the slime in action before, as its a green ooze that's full of positive energy akin to white magic. It can negate caustic black slime my friends and I dubbed Negaplasm-a nasty substance toxic to body and soul-and acts as an easy exorcism. Other weapons that go with the Slime Blower are the Slime Mines and the Slime Teather. The Mines are used to cover a wide area in green slime. Very effective on large enemies powered by Negaplasm or for cleansing a large amount of the substance off the enviornment. The teather is essentially a slime rope that congeals to be used as such. The slime teather is very strong, so it can hold anything for a set period of time before the teather weakens."
Nutcase then pointed to a purple box on the opposit side of the pack from where the slime tank was and said, "This is the dark matter generator. It produces the energy needed to use the Shock Blast and Stasis Stream. The Shock Blast is a weapon that shoots bursts of dark matter particals at the targer. The particals are strongest at close range and get weaker the further you are away from the target. As such it's best used on inbound swarms, like for instance flying skulls and other poltergeist activity involving flying objects. The particals diffuse harmlessly in the atmosphere, so there's relatively little danger. The Stasis Stream is like a freeze ray, as the energy bonds with ectoplasmic matter and immobilizes it."
Nutcase then pointed to a yellow box in the middle. "This is my personal favorite; the Meson Collider. It's essentially the nuclear accelerator version of a machine gun. You can shoot either a single burst off at a target or a continuous barrage of meson particals at a target. When the rapid-fire option is used, it'll activate the overload pulse drive which makes even more Meson Particals shoot out, much like a machine gun. In this state, the particals will home in on an enemy's weak spot, aking an otherwise difficult fight much easier."
Finally Nutcase pointed to a silver-colored box below the meson collider generator. "This is a tool of my own design. I call this the Chaos Drive. In the off-chance some ghosts cannot be defeated by any other weapon, this will be used. I invented it after close study of the Chaos Emeralds, so this device uses Chaos Energy. Positive chaos energy, to be percise. It acts similarly to the slime blower only the Chaos Lasers fired from this will double as a blast stream when used on ghosts that are somhow able to harness Chaos Energy or any other form of energy that would otherwise prompt one to cross the partical beams on two or more of these packs. Sometimes that method will have to be used if nothing else works."
Putting the pac away, Nutcase said, "I explained all this because we may have to use this gear if our usual tactics don't work. So far we've done alright but you never know. Hopefully I'll be the only one to use this thing since it takes a bit of training to properly handle these things."

.................
...........................
.................................................. Climber looked at Nutcase, his mud eyes turned from regular eyes to tiny dots in apparent confusion. "... ... ... ..." His eyes transformed back to normal, however they still looked MAJOR confused. "What?"
[Forgive me for the short post, but in my defense the only characters on scene right now just spoke.]

"...Uhh... not my major, I have no clue," Beatrice said. She added a "bitch" for good measure at the end of that. She lifted one of her fists. "Well, these babies here are all I need. I never did any of that Living Weapon crap like Taffy and Tree, and besides, I'm still an alchemist. If the need comes up, I can transmute something."
"I've got No-Name," Taffy said, lifting up his broom. "That's the only weapon I need."
"Tree's got Todd, Ark's got his Happy Hammer, and I've got my Scythe," Snowy inputted. "I doubt we'll need your Ghostbusters gear. Plus, my scythe works as an impromptu exorcism tool, though we may need to re-input your friend's soul afterward if we use it to get rid of Soul Calibur."
Beatrice glanced out the window. "Hey, uh, why don't we get some sleep? I dunno if you bitches noticed, but the sun's coming up."

Nutcase looked to Snowy and said, "The fact we'd have to put Gantz back in his body is why I propose the use of the slime blower to exorcise Gantz. No need to worry about his own sould jumping ship. And Beatrice is right, we'd best go to sleep. See you around noon, seeing as how we stayed up all night."

As the others appeared to agree to this plan, Climber sat down on the couch. "You guys can go to bed. I'll keep watch. Since I'm a mannequin, I really don't need to sleep."
----------------------------
Back in Nutcase's room, Star Man overlooked the note he had recieved...
'The Void City Black Market?' He gave the note a few more once overs before putting it away. 'I'll have to show this to Nutcase later...'
------------------------------
In his own room, Kosumu continued to sleep peacefully, his light breathing continuing on at a serene pace. The boy appeared to stir a little, before muttering something about 'Mama', and falling right back to sleep.

Beatrice and Taffy both headed upstairs to their respective rooms, while Snowy stayed downstairs with Climber.
"I'll hang out with you, then. I'm a ghost, so I don't need to sleep," Snowy said. She poofed back to her smaller gerbil form and floated over to Climber's head, where she sat. She sighed.
"You've gotten yourself mixed up in a huge mess, mannequin, just warning you now. I wouldn't blame ya if you ran off now," Snowy said. She balanced her oversized scythe on her shoulder, keeping it stable with just one tiny paw. "I'd take the secret to the grave, too. Well, as much of a grave as someone who's already dead can have. Anyway, I'm just saying."
-----------------
Taffy was passed out on his bed, mumbling something about a cannon.
-----------------
Beatrice was passed out in her futon. Unlike the rest of these "uncultured weirdos", she was actually using the thing instead of the beds the rooms came with. Their loss.

Nutcase went back to his room, followed by Slimer. The green class five vapor didn't feel comfortable being alone tonight and Nutcase agreed to let Slimer bunk with him, providng he didn't stay in the same bed, as his excessively oozing ectoplasmic body would have been very uncomfortable.
When they entered, Star Man immediately grabbed Nutcase's atention.

Star Man from his P.E.T. looked up to Nutcase, carrying the E-mail. "Nutcase..." he opened it up. "You might want to see this."
-----------------------------
Climber looked up at Snowy, momentarily surprised at what had happened, before putting it off... "Well... ... Of course I'm scared..." He looked down a moment. "A lot more scared then I have ever been..." He was silent a moment. "But I'm not going to run scared." That possibly surprised Snowy, but seeing the look on Climber's face, she would be able to tell he was quite serious. "Gantz is hurting right now. And Gantz... He's my friend."
He shook his head. "I'm not going to run away. Friends don't run away from friends in need."

Snowy smiled and poked Climber with her scythe. "Good. I like you. And you're not all crazy like all of the other artificial humans me and Tree have met over the years."
She floated away from Climber, and sat with her tiny arms crossed. "Friends don't run away from friends in need, but friends in need need to realize when they need their friends' help. That's why me and Tree are here. Ark, no clue. He latched back onto us after Clive ditched him. The little traitor. Anyways, I want you to hang onto this." She tossed Climber the scroll she was holding before. "Fate can still be changed, so promise me you won't look at it."
The item she'd just tossed Climber was an item known as The List. It gave Snowy alerts saying when people who were fated to die were meant to die so she could reap their souls. Not that she had to do that on the island. Wisps automatically faded away here, so she didn't have to reap anything.
